We've actually been here twice this week. We were here for September 12-14 and now we are back on our way home. This stay won't let me rate it yet, but besides being a great rate and beautiful place, I want to give a shout out to Victoria at the check in tonight. We checked in but went to dinner before going to our room. When we came back almost 2 hours later, we realized I had reserved and paid for the wrong type of room. Victoria was super helpful and found us a different room for the same rate She really saved the day!

I don't think there is really anything we didn't like. The back deck was lovely and had a fire pit that wasn't lit during our first trip. That is pretty much the only negative

From start to finish.....I thoroughly enjoyed myself. The property is nestled by the lake and hotel was fashioned very nicely. I loved the colors on the inside, looked like a new property (but learned it was newly renovated). There was live music in the bar/restaurant area which was great!!! Our (my family and I had separate rooms on different floors) were clean and neat. I loved the flooring, no carpets, and the beds were clean/comfortable. Outside, the scenery is very nice. We were giving bowl of turtle foods to feed the turtles (and the fish helped themselves lol) the the food we through out, which was a nice treat to see. The breakfast was nice, simple (sausage, eggs, biscuits, cereal choices and juice/coffee). The room where breakfast as served was nice as well, but you have the option of sitting out on the patio. We didn't swim in pool, but there is one available. We were straight down the street from the downtown area, where we did out sightseeing and collecting of water. We even hiked up the mountain to the observatory, enjoying that immensely. Just overall, we had a good time. It was a quick, last minute getaway for the weekend, and we weren't disappointed. I really appreciated how quiet it was, not a lot of children running around (though children we were there, no a lot) and outside was really peaceful. I know the next time we come and we will, to get the room with the water view. Just stunning. Recommend the Duck Tour to get to see the surrounding islands on Lake Hamilton too!! Nice, very nice!

I would suggest in my opinion to make sure each room has all of their amenities. There was an ironing board missing in one room, but use the one in the other room. Just make sure the bathrooms are really clean and that's about it.

Was a beautiful property! Our refrigerator wasn’t working at first and took them just 30 minutes to get us a new one! The outside patio was amazing to lay in and look at the lake! Everyone was so friendly.

The bed was kind of hard. Definitely hurt my back when I woke up. As long as you aren’t a clean freak the rooms are nice. We moved the bed and there was a bunch of dirt and trash under there which wasn’t the best but was okay. The new fridge we got was full of mold so we had to clean it before we used it. There was also some hair in our bath tub but we just got it out and cleaned it! Still was a very lovely room.

This was in perfect location- perfect ! I loved the outside patio area and covered chair areas but the curtains need to be replaced some of them are torn - the hotel was clean the only thing I noticed is the hallways were super hot and smelled a little funky . I think the cleaning staff could do a little better during the day while guests are still there they left the door open to the cleaning supply room and open trash laying around and it didn’t smell very pleasant , we were on the second floor . The room over all acceptable but I don’t believe my sheets weee clean , there was a stain on them I know I didn’t make . The floors made my bare feet dirty so I believe they needed a good mopping . I don’t think this is an owner problem as much as cleaning staff trying to do the bare minimum. Breakfast was amazing . But because the bourbon bar - the location on the lake - clean pool - and beautiful scenery I definitely would be staying here again . The owners and clerks were very nice and helpful . I think if I had let them know about the floor and bedding they would’ve been more than happy to fix that issue but I didn’t bring it to their attention so that is my fault not theirs . Room could’ve been cleaner - cleaning crew needs to keep things presentable on the floors during the day - Rooms could use some updating like the rest of the hotel in the area of decor and bedding.

The hotel was great, nice staff, breakfast was good, and they did great restocking something if you let them know something ran out. The pool was nice, and the outside sitting area was nice, too. The little restaurant at the hotel was great and had a nice small staff. Their cocktails i tried were delicious, and so was the pizza and appetizer we ordered.

The restaurant was severely understaffed for the number of people ordering, and there were no places to sit inside. They closed too early on Sunday and were not opened on Monday. I also wish the pool was a bit bigger for the number of guests it was quite small, and we ended up not getting in it as much as we had planned

The hotel was easy in and out. It was in a good location relative to Hot Springs National Park which was exactly what we were looking for. The location on the lake was lovely and pretty peaceful all things considered. They also gave us a late check out which was super helpful.

The hotel was definitely old and a bit dirty. Needs an update. The blinds in our room were broken and the room smelled very musty. The breakfast left a lot to be desired. There weren't many options and the cooked food was kind of gross. Definitely one of the worst breakfasts we have had in a while.

The front desk was awesome. When we went upstairs to our room and saw there were no toiletries on our sink I went down and told the clerk he immediately went to get soap and shampoo for me. And when I bought a coke and had to wait for a couple to check in, the couple took a lengthy amount of time checking due to no fault of the clerk. The couple were being difficult with each other. Because I waited so long he gave me the coke free for having to wait. He was awesome.

That we had to ask for toiletries and had no glasses by the sink like we normally do.

The lake view was beautiful! Location! No carpet, clean floor, and the room was mostly very clean. Bed was comfortable! It was quiet! The hosts were very friendly and explained everything on arrival

Pricey for a room without a suite. Having to go to the desk to get extra towels/ wash cloths each day. Wall behind the hand towels needed to be cleaned. Bottom of the tub had residue from where a slip resistant mat had been removed giving a dirty appearance (I hope that’s what it was). Hair/ dirt behind the door in the bathroom when we arrived.

Location was great! First morning’s breakfast was great and had a lovely lady very attentive to making sure everyone was happy. Next two mornings were NOT staffed and food was all run out long before it was supposed to be. Most people coming in got nothing! Night/evening staff were all very helpful and kind.

We all assumed we needed to purchase no breakfast elsewhere as that was to be included in our stay but that was true only for the weekend morning. None for other days. Lots of young FFA there for a state convention went to their activities with no breakfast.

The room, it was a lake view room. The blue and green lights at night on the water were beautiful. The bed was very comfortable, me and my granddaughter enjoyed the pool, and feeding the turtles. It was a great experience. I will definitely stay again.

The gravy. It was water gravy with no flavor. If made in the sausage renderings, it would have been delicious. The rest of breakfast was great.
