Super 8 by Wyndham Oxford

I like the location that it was in Oxford Alabama but overall I did not like the room because when I came to the hotel that had me in room 164 and I immediately turned around upon me going to the room and the door was wide open and the beds had been messed up like somebody had already been in the room and so I went to the front desk asked the lady to give me another room and kind as she was she did but the second room that she put me in the bathroom was not clean were they had relay tile it was done improperly and it was very very dirty but all because of the bed in the hotel room I stayed and enjoyed my birthday

I did not like the fat that I had to be first switch from the initial room they first gave me because it was already open and the beds look like they have been slept in and then when they switch my room out the bathroom was dirty and there were dirty warm tiles in the bathroom of the hotel room I was in

The hotel is right off of the interstate and a main road, so it is easy to find. There are plenty of conveniences nearby. The hotel was quiet with adequate outside lighting in the parking lot and walkways. The lobby appeared to be clean and smelled nice. The staff was efficient and professional. The room was mostly adequate for our needs.

This hotel advertises free breakfast, but when asking about breakfast, I was told that it's not available. The room needs to have some repairs completed (toilet and shower) and a deep cleaning.

The woman that checked me in, Armesha (I think thats how you spell it? I'm so sorry if I slaughtered her name!) was absolutely amazing! She accommodated my request for a first floor room and was so friendly and awesome! The room was comfortable enough for the price. Trick is don't expect much. It's a room with a bed and bathroom, nuff said.

The rooms definitely need some work but its just normal wear and tear. The walls are thin so it is pretty noisy, the bed in 156 sinks in on both sides like the springs were worn out but it wasn't horribly uncomfortable. The toilet was slow to flush, the bowl had to fill completely before it would flush and there was minimal water pressure so it made showering difficult. (All pretty standard issues in most motels in this area) The gentleman that works the night shift was not helpful at all when I called to inquire about a lost charger I thought I may have forgotten and realized late in the evening when I unpacked looking for it.

very convenient location right off the highway, near many gas stations

listing says breakfast is provided, but they had a sign hanging up stating that they did not provide breakfast.

That the 2 Lady's that live there and run place are very very nice.!!! But should have gave me 25-40 % off my room sence I didn't get the room I reserved a week early !!!

That I RESERVED a KING SMOKING room,a WEEK in ADVANCE !!!! After getting there was told there WAS NOT ANY !!! Had to take room with 2 very small beds. NOT EVEN QUEEN size !!! And That a handicapped person with bad knees & back, has to climb stairs!!! Need elevator in a VERY BAD WAY !!!☹️

House keeping was amazing and front desk also thank you so much for everything,best stay I've ever had any where and the beds were so comfy we will be back thank you again

Location and cleanliness

The microwave was dirty and the next door neighbors was smoking some strong ass weed. I'm allergic or I wouldn't have cared.

I was informed that only tea and coffee would be available for breakfast, Although the reservation included breakfast, this was a disappointment. Other that, I enjoyed the room stay which was very comfortable.

bathroom needs some work , grab bar in bath /shower area was pulling out of the wall if a older person would have used it they could fall .., please fix

the room has good sound blocking and big tv
