Check-in is easy and fast. We were allowed for an early check-in. Front desk staff and the sucurity personnel were very professional and helpful. Location is GREAT! Walking distance or 1 city block away to metro station and hollywood avenue where the hollywood stars or walk of fame were located. No UBER driver picked our ride request to Universal Studios on that day. Maybe traffic is very heavy on that day, rush hour early in the morning, considering that we are not the only one who wants to go there and catch the rope drop time. However inspite of not able to use Uber and since metro station is just near we use the metro train and arrived in Universal City station in just one stop. There’s a free Universal Studio shuttle just across the street when you go out from the train station. Rope dropping was successful and we were able to experience all the rides in US. It is very clean everywhere in the hotel.

No late check-out but they will store/keep your luggage for a fee. Microwave oven is in the lobby store.

The hotel is conveniently located a few blocks from Hollywood Blvd. The room was spotless and staff was pleasant and helpful. We stayed on a lower floor. It was quiet with every amenity you could possibly need except for a microwave in the room. There is one located in the lobby area but it's an inconvenience to have to go up and down on an elevator just to heat up food. The free breakfast is outstanding with a pancake maker that was most popular. Like most hotels these days, housekeeping does not come to your room daily. Get over it. It was fine, if I needed anything all I had to do was ask. If they ever put microwaves in the rooms this place is a cut above for the price.

The room was large and clean, everything you needed was there. Having the breakfast and wifi included as great. And the location to Walk of Fame and restaurants was great.

While the breakfast was good, we weren't allowed to take any items out that we can use as a snack for our day. I've stayed at other Holiday Inn Express locations, and they were more than accommodating taking a couple of snack items. Maybe it's a post-pandemic thing but don't count on snacks from the breakfast. And just minor issue with the air conditioner not cooling the room enough but it wasn't bad.

Everything, nice, bright clean and spacious room. With a microwave and fridge it made eating out easier as food could be saved and re heated. Location perfect for hollywood walk of fame and other attractions. Veronica and Alfredo were very helpful in the breakfast room and it was nice to get a hot breakfast.

Only thing that could have changed if being picky, was they only offered cold hard boiled egg. If they were hot that would be perfect but that is only my families preference....

Great location for walking to tourist attractions and dinning. Ubers almost always available for destinations not walkable. Breakfast was great, nice variety, and always ready and welcoming. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area or planning a trip to any of the nearby studios or attractions.

We had a rental but never used it. Traffic is so bad in the area. Nothing the property can do about that though.

Hotel was in the perfect area. From the moment we arrived check in was quick and easy!! I wish I got the man's name who helped us, but we were so tired he was very friendly and quick to servicing us. Hotel is within walking distance from many things to do. Our room was spacious and clean. Amenities were awesome and were good. All of the staff was very sweet and accommodating. Marieta who worked in the breakfast area was amazing, sweet, greeted us kindly. Breakfast was good, very clean and lots to choose from pretty spacious areas to sit at . Front staff and valet were all kind Thank you again. Thank you Tania for checking us out quickly and providing me with Marietas name. I complement all the staff. Definitely would recommend this hotel and will most definitely be back😉🥰

Easy parking, excellent breakfast, and very friendly staff. Good location within a short walking distance from the Walk of Fame, Dolby Theater, and many restaurants. Also the metro station is just behind the corner and it's just one stop to Universal Studios. We had the Executive Queen suite and the room was really spacious - with two queen size beds, a sofa, and plenty of space for the 5 of us.

The extra (sofa) bed was really uncomfortable even for a child - the mattress is horrible. We asked for a quiet room and they gave us a room at the end of the hall in the corner (quiet from the inside indeed), but it was facing the street and the noise from the street is really bad even with the windows closed. We had to switch on the A/C or a fan to reduce the street noise a bit. The outdoor pool is really small and is not heated - couldn't use it in January (but we were really unlucky with the weather).

Very friendly, helpful staff. Paid on site parking was well worth it with fantastic valet that are prompt, and very welcoming. Walk of fame was very close by, which we enjoyed. Hollywood sign view from hotel was a fun surprise. Room was clean and comfy. Dove products, soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and bodywash in the bathroom made me very happy! Quick and easy check-in/out. Breakfast served each morning. I truly enjoyed our stay and will surely stay again!

Big spacious room, clean, comfy beds, and choice of pillows. Rooms serviced on request. If you have one of these rooms that face the front/main Rd and you are a light sleeper, I would suggest maybe buy some ear plugs as not much sound proofing from traffic in early hours in morning and evening. Breakfast there is a range to choose from with Marieta & Veronica keeping everything topped up and clean. Close to everything we needed.

Our stay was only for one night but from the moment we arrived the staff was very pleasant and accommodating. The room was big and clean. It appeared as though the hotel has gone through some renovations. It was nice to have breakfast included and there were plenty of options. We really appreciate not having to look for a breakfast place especially when we need to get an early start. Also, nice touch with the large bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash installed in the showers. So much better than having those tiny guest bottles. Overall, we were quite happy with the hotel and staff and would definitely consider staying at the Holiday Inn Express Hollywood Walk of Fame again.
