The extra fees were astronomical. I think they should be added to the room prior to booking so it doesn’t feel like your getting taken by the hotel.

I loved the check-in experience as a Bonvoy member. The person that helped me was expedient and thorough, explaining how they made adjustments, so the rest of my stay is comfortable and found an available room for me to switch to. Even with the strike happening outside, during my entire stay, the hotel staff came together to be respectful of everyone while responding to the guests needs. We had a late lunch in the lobby bar, the wagyu burger with garlic parmesan fries, and it was great! I also had the branzino for dinner at Savoca and that was also great, especially the Dolce and Banana (cake with ice cream). The room was very clean, neat, everything was working well, great view of the pool, Microsoft Plaza and Crypto Arena, and south LA skyline.

I wish the parking people have the same understanding of hotel parking policy as the front desk. It's still to be resolved but I was charged a full day of valet parking because I was staying at the hotel even though I was clear that I wasn't leaving my car in the parking. I checked in, took my luggage to my room, grabbed a snack, and left. 1.5 hours and the parking staff said it would still be a full charge when the sign clearly says, right next to them, "$15.00 1st 2 hours". It's a minor hassle but Marriott will make the correction.

Amazing facility with great staff. Attended for LA Comic Con 2022 for a weekend of cosplay and modeling. The major point of staying was the location and the second was the gym. The gym was amazing equipped with TechnoGym equipment and cycling bikes. They offered 24/7 access, complimentary water and towels. Because the pool was under construction guests could access the Ritz Carlton pool and gym. The Ritz Carlton gym had the same high quality equipment with a larger layout. The pool was heated and had a large Jacuzzi. The rooms had great lighting and the interiors were amazing. Great coffee shop in the lobby and a shirt walk to the convention center and other DTLA destinations.

Only areas to beef up: - There is no guest sauna or steam room. Quite a lot to pay to not offer these. - The gyms could use a stair master. - The bar gets really crowded with non hotel guests. It might be good to have a hotel guests only area on the second floor that stays open a little later so it's easier to get to the specials. - Neither the Bonvoy app not the website worked for me when I was arriving. I'm hoping I can keep the points later. - A complimentary continental breakfast would be a nice touch... Like coffee and pastries. Overall amazing experience. I'm very Hilton oriented but this Marriott experience certainly impressed me much more (especially the gym!).

They still charge a fee for daily WiFi access. This is disappointing.

The hotel was extremely accommodating and friendly. Our rooms were clean and free of smells from prior guest. The location was central to several restaurants, attractions, and the highway.

One thing that was a bit frustrating was the mixed information about breakfast cost, and guest amenities per day. For three days in a row we received a different message from three two different waitresses and three different front desk staff about cost and allowances. We literally had to hold our breathe during check out, hopeful that we didn’t have enormous charges.

I loved the cleanliness of the room, the friendly staff who treated us amazingly, and the amenities were great for the price! We definitely enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi!! The bed was comfortable and the room was so neat!

Their room service food was not good, I was surprisingly disappointed. Wings were overcooked and hard to bite through. Their garlic fries were overcooked as well. Their pizza was alright but not good enough for the price. I was overall not satisfied with the food but the staff was very nice and friendly.

Easy checkin --valet immediately flagged us down when we pulled in and we were out of the car within minutes (without feeling rushed). The room was comfortably sized for a family of 4 (2 queen beds). We were there for a cytpto.com arena so just a minutes walk from the arena. And finally, great service @ the restaurant.

Only reason the room isn't a 10: the bathroom did not have a fan (or at least we couldn't figure out where it was). This made post-shower steamy and tricky to get ready.

Technology through the Bon Voy app wasn’t fully available and Internet was a tad sluggish. I didn’t feel confident to have a Zoom meeting during my stay. But I loved my experience and my wife did too. We celebrated our 9th Anniversary with JW Marriott and we’re glad we did. Romondo Locke

Checking in was easy. The room was very spacious. Having a kitchen space was a huge plus.

I have stayed here multiple times, so I know what to expect. So there isn't really anything I didn't like. I stay here because I like it very much.
