Sleep Inn Summersville

I really enjoyed my stay and overall the hotel was way nicer than i expected. The people running the front desk were very friendly and breakfast was good with equally friendly staff. The hotel is within reasonable walking distance to some local restaurants, a Starbucks, and some convenience stores. (Although one must cross a busy four lane road at a stoplight intersection.) But this was especially nice for me since i was on a motorcycle and made it easier for me to get some dinner without having to gear up just to go a short distance.

Check in was great, the young man was very friendly, patient and helpful to the older guest in front of me. My request to be near elevator was honored due to my health issues. The breakfast attended was very friendly and helpful. She went above and beyond! Everything was excellent! I will definitely stay here again!

Didn't like the front doors, really need to upgrade to sliding doors. It's kinda hard to get in and out as one person guest with hands full of luggage.

I love the proximity to the highway and ample, safe parking. The staff make the hotel excellent. We have stayed here 3 times now and every time the reception staff are friendly and happy to help. They made sure I got a tea when I arrived after a long drive, and made sure we had hot fresh coffees to go even though we left before breakfast was served at 6:00. It’s always a pleasure and we’ll definitely be back on the way home from future Florida adventures.

Nothing. It is not a luxury hotel, but it is extremely comfortable.

The breakfast was great and the staff there was friendly. The hot breakfast was one of the reasons I picked this hotel over others in the area.

I called an asked for adjoining rooms. This was the only one that said they actually had adjoining rooms on site. I arrived early to get adjoining rooms. They were not cleaned yet. Went to lunch to give them time after reiterating "I am here. " when we returned there was a new staff member and had given the adjoining room to someone else. Stating I had requested the second floor. Which was not true at all. Big disappointment. 2 phone calls and early arrival to get ajoining room and it did not happen. Big disappointment.

location, cleanliness of facility and room, staff cordiality, breakfast, and parking. i would certainly stay there again

nothing really. unfortunately there's a general feeling in the business world that constant improvement is always the goal. my opinion is that maintaining achieved quality is a more important/beneficial goal.

The breakfast was awesome compared to most others. It was fresh tasty, many options. The lady in charge should be given a "TEN" for her presentation and social abilities. I am a shopper and was disappointed that there was no mall of any sort, Walmart does not count!!

All was excellent.

This is a convenient, comfortable one night stay between Raleigh, NC and Buffalo, NY. It is clean, quiet, and the staff are excellent. It offers a nice hot breakfast and is close to restaurants for lunch or dinner.

The water in the sink in our room was a mere trickle. We got by with the excellent shower and the desk person was very appologetic in the morning.

Clean, well located, nice staff, good breakfast.

A/C was a little spotty in the room and the key kept getting messed up, but the front desk staff was quickly to replace it. Housekeeping overheard our issue and volunteered to get us a new key one time, which was just very nice, since we didn’t ask and she wasn’t in our room at the time.

The staff at breakfast was friendly, helpful, and made sure everyone had what they wanted and needed.

The electronic room keys went bad very frequently (multiple times in a 4 night stay) and had to be reprogrammed or replaced. Reception staff always available to take care of this, but a bit frustrating when coming in one of the back or side doors.

Breakfast was a bit disappointing….not a good assortment of muffins or breakfast pastries… And out of orange juice? Really? No hard boiled eggs

The coffee for the coffeemaker in the room was horrible! Not enough creamer besides….why powdered creamer? The real creamers don’t need to be refrigerated…..or put out before a guest arrives….
