The room was clean, the staff were very polite and helpful. I liked that they had a pool table, it was nice and quiet. The bar and grill were pretty affordable and the food was great. There were also other restaurants near by that sells local food.

I didn’t know that the beach side and garden side or on different sides of the road. I booked the beach side but the parking and the front desk are on the garden side. So I had to keep going back and forth across the road. I didn’t like the fact that room service was every other day because we spent only 2 nights so we didn’t get room service nevertheless we were able to get fresh towels at the front desk. The weird thing too is that there are no Tv in the rooms. I’ve never seen that before.

The property is just one crossing-the-street away, which very close. The private beach is just beautiful, clean and not overcrowded. The room was very clean and spacious. AC working perfectly. Breakfast available at the restaurant is delicious (the coffe tho is not great).

The problem for me is the staff at the restaurant. One woman is basically ignoring you as much as she only can. Another thing is that guests of the hotel have to wear a bracelet on arm showing that they are the guests. This way in the whole town we are noticeably turists, which causes situations that I would like to avoid. For example one man told us in the shop (far away from the hotel), that he works in our hotel and wanted to sell us something. We never saw this person before, but he knew where to find us, because of this bracelet. I imagine for solo female travelers it is actually very dangerous. This way of signing guests should not be proceeded.

Friendly staff (besides the two barkeeper), wonderful beach, good food, WiFi excellent, small and lovely, exactly what we were looking for, normally 10!

The rooms have one big problem: you here every word of your direct neighbours. So you really need luck, otherwise it will be hard to catch sleep. The worst of all: they keep two parrots in a really small cage! THIS IS ANIMAL CRUELTY! What for? Who needs this? Will anyone book because of some birds? Is it just for amusement of the owner? Welcome in the last century! So i was really thinking of rating 1 because of this but i think there is a better way: go there, because the place is great, so go there and complain about that stupid bird cage. Maybe one day they will start to think about it ...

The location is great and most of the staff is really friendly and made our stay memorable, they're really trying to create a positive environment. The food and cocktails in the restaurant are very tasty, you just have to wait quite a bit to get the food, but we told them we'd wait at the beach, and they told us when it was ready.

We really missed something in our rooms to hang our wet clothes and swimsuits to dry. The cleaning of rooms every other day took a long time, so we had to wait to go back to our rooms. But again the cleaning ladies were really friendly, it maybe just wouldn't be necessary to do a "deep" clean every other day. All in all we would definitely recommend staying here, these are just some minor things that we noticed.

they don’t provide shampoo and beach towels are only for purchase which make it a bit absurd since they offer access to their private beach.

I stayed at White Sands for my anniversary. I was extremely tired when I arrived and was taken care of expeditiously. The staff was very friendly and extremely patient. To our surprise the room was decorated with flowers everywhere. It was lovely and smelled so nice. The staff even congratulated us by making the bed with flowers that spelled out Happy Anniversary. I'm so glad I chose to stay here. The food at the restaurant was scrumptious. Hats off to the Chef. We went to Push Cart for dinner and was so dissapointed we thought we should have just eaten here. Everything was exceptional!

White Sands Negril was the perfect hotel for our trip and we will certainly stay there again on future trips to Negril. After four nights in Ocho Rios we were looking for some very chill time on the beach, and this hotel delivered. The staff (especially Blu and Jennifer at the restaurant, Carron the security guard who helps stop traffic for crossing the road from the beach to the pool/reception side, and Jeanine at reception) were so kind and helpful. The grounds are lush and beautiful, and we enjoyed swimming at the beach and in the pool and playing pool in the games room beside the pool. Seven Mile Beach is wonderful, and the hotel is a nice 10 or so minute stroll along the main road to the Hi-Lo grocery store. We ate our first dinner and several lunches at the hotel restaurant. The upstairs open air dining area is amazing at sunset, and all the food we tried was delicious. Margaritaville (with its floating trampoline, though sadly no water slide like in Ocho Rios) was also about a 10 minute walk away. We tried a couple of the restaurants at the cliffs, both of which sent drivers and we just had to pay for the return trip -- Ciao Jamaica had really good Italian food but is on the other side of the street from the cliffs. Ivan's had an amazing sunset and water view and was perfect for our last night in Negril -- thank you for the recommendation Carron. We were staying in C4, one of the one beach side bedroom suites with two twin beds in the large living room area for our 11 and 15 year old kids, and a good sized kitchen. The only air conditioning unit was in the bedroom above the very large bed, but it kept the living room cool too when we left the bedroom door open. All beds were comfortable, and we really liked having the kitchen so we could make our own breakfasts.

Once or twice the water pressure was a bit low in the shower and we had to bring our own shampoo and conditioner, but honestly we loved everything. Beach towels aren't provided but they sell them at reception if you don't have your own packed.

All staff members from owner, to reception staff, grounds staff and security guards were very helpful and extremely friendly, lovely people. The room was nice and big. I loved the little studio flat.

There was no television which to me is essential if you stay in at nights, ironing board or iron. I asked for an iron which I managed to obtain one from reception but alas no ironing board. The curtains on the window I feel should cover more of the door because you can see through the cracks

Stunning beach, the most beautiful water we have ever seen, we booked a room on the beach side, but because the balcony was little we changed to a room on the garden side where the pool is nearby. You always have to cross the street but that wasn't a problem. Rooms were clean. We always had breakfast a Coco La palm which we can recommend. We also can recommend Charela Inn which is next to white sands, they have very delicious dinner.

Reception stuff is very friendly, breakfast stuff can be more friendly, no thank you for tip.
