We booked a twin room and requested for a high floor room with a seaview at the point of booking (6mths ahead). What surprises us was that they quietly remembered and honoured that request when we arrive. 100 marks for that!! The hotel is quite new but beaming with guests (felt like a market place at checkin). They offered many many benefits like free drinks, pillow menu and public bath etc. Guess it is a irresistible offer that draws not only me.

I didn't like the idea of taking the common lift to the public bath located on a lower floor. Unlike other hotels, the lift is not secured by card access (which means the lift can be used by anyone). I felt uncomfortable wearing the room pyjamas taking the lift knowing this. But if onsen is not your thing and you don't mind crowd at mealtimes, this hotel is a 10/10.

The hotel is just a short walk from Beppu station and is conveniently visible so you won't have to worry about getting lost. There is a combini right opposite the hotel so it is not a problem if you need to get a snack. The hotel breakfast was basic and you need to remember to clean your tray after yourself. Check in was smooth and I was glad that I could choose a pillow that I liked for sleeping. The thoughtful amenities was great too - I enjoyed the mask and the serum while I was there. I liked the layout of the room - I had a view of Beppu tower from my window and the table was comfortable enough for me to have snacks, read and do my makeup. The onsen was comfortable and I liked that there was a screen for us to check if the onsen was full and the availability of the laundry and dryer machines. Easy walking access to the shopping centre and anywhere else in the city.

Location of the hotel is just a 3min walk from Beppu Station. Room was clean and staff was well versed in English. Explanation was clear and simple. The hotel does not use key cards for the rooms. Instead they give a unique 6-digit passcode (on a filmsy paper) for every room. i find it cumbersome to keep the filmsy paper with me. so i took a photo of it in my phone. Having to refer to the phone to open my room door every single time is super time consuming. Breakfast situation was hectic. the eating area is small messy when crowded. other than that, the stay was good.

the location is great! right next to the Beppu station. Easy access to place to eat, super market and convenience store. I was surprise by the size of the bed and the size of the room. The beds allow our family of four (kids 4yrs/6yrs old) to sleep comfortably) and the room allow our two huge suitcases to be open and still have room for kids to run around. The staffs were super friendly with good English speaking skill. The hotel is super thoughtful by providing variety kind of skin care product that really meet the idea of travel without a suitcase. Parking is nearby with reasonable fee (500 yen) and having coin laundry also is a big help when traveling with kids.

nothing that i don't like about the hotel

I am super in love with this hotel—the onsen, the pillows, the amenities, the staff, etc. The staff were amicable. There are many restaurants nearby, and there is a beer brewery just beside the hotel. Coin laundry is also easy to use. Tapping of the card is not required in this hotel. Checkout is hassle-free. It is walking distance from Beppu station. Please visit the tourism centre located at Beppu station if you need to purchase the bus passes. I love this hotel so much that I booked it during my Tokyo stay. I hope it doesn't disappoint me.

The hotel is definitely value for money. It inclusive of awesome healthy (organic) breakfast, drinks to chill after 3pm and alcohol after 6pm. And you can bring your own food to go with. Hotel is equipped with new technologies: digital code for room & onsen. Fuss free check in and out. Room is equipped with smart TV where. Location is excellent. 5 mins walk to JR train station and bus station to travel around the attraction places and surrounded by many restaurants.

The staffs are very friendly. The variety for breakfast is not much but enough (and most of them are organic!) The window shade works perfectly, it cuts off almost all of the sunlight. The room is spacing. Location is very convenient. The ocean side room has the view of Beppu Tower! Neat night view in the room. The facilities are pretty new and in good condition.

The restroom is too small, and there is only one faucet. If someone is taking a shower, the other can not even wash his/her hands.

Great onsen and good location by the Station. Comfortable beds. All Beppu brewery next door is awwsome for beers and food.

Check and breakfast were not good. I waited till 3pm to check but on arrival to my room it was not cleaned or made up. I found one of the cleaners who quickly sorted it for me but was not good after long day of travel. Breakfast was a very stressful experience. The food was ok not great but the staff were very over cautious and watching my every move. Maybe because I was the only foreigner I dont know? After getting my cereal and coffee I stood up and picked up two pieces of bread from the Buffet and some butter and jam and started to walked back to my table when a male member of staff ran at my thrusting a pair tongs and tray into my hand mumbling at me. It was over kill and very stessful.

The location is really near to the station, so it is easy to catch the bus, train, and take taxi. The breakfast was exceptional, especially the bread. The room was spacious. We brought 6 luggages and it fit all six of our luggages and we could open them at ease

The pillows available inside the room were quite stiff. I prefer to take additional pillows from the front desk and use the pillows inside the room as a bolster instead.

We booked this hotel as part of our trip around Kyushu. I had forgotten that this hotel included breakfast in the price, so it was a pleasant surprise to us. Outside breakfast hours, there was also free flow of soft drinks and coffee that we could use. The cafeteria was just beside the laundry room, so it's a good place to work while waiting for your laundry. We found the staff to be very friendly too. The onsen was small but clean. I also like the table included in our room. And they give you a choice of different pillows as well. This is definitely a place that tries to pamper its guests.
