My stay at APA Hotel & Resort Tokyo Bay Makuhari was defined by several positive aspects. The convenient location near the train station and the beach was a major plus, making traveling and exploration easy. The rooms were elegantly designed, spacious, well-equipped, and offered delightful views. The availability of different dining options, including a Dim-Sum buffet, pizza café, and Teppanyaki dishes, was impressive and catered to diverse culinary preferences. The services offered by the hotel were another high point of my stay. From the excellent housekeeping service to the 24-hour front desk and the availability of two Lawsons convenience stores within the hotel premises, the guest experience was prioritized at all times. The spa facilities, which included a public bath and a variety of body treatments, added an extra layer of relaxation and indulgence to my stay. Finally, the vast selection for breakfast and the quality of food was highly commendable. I also enjoyed the presence of good shops and restaurants nearby, providing an array of options for leisure and dining. Overall, I was thrilled with the quality of service and facilities at the hotel.

While my stay at APA Hotel & Resort Tokyo Bay Makuhari was mostly positive, there were a few aspects that could be improved. A significant disappointment was the closure of the swimming pool during my stay, despite it being a major factor in choosing this hotel. It was frustrating to see the pool in operation while having breakfast, yet not have access to it. Limiting its opening only to July and August seems restrictive and doesn't cater to the guests who may prefer to swim outside of these months.

I liked how hospitable the staff at the information counter were. Guests can't check in till 3pm so that's a bit of a wait but there are things to do around the area so it was ok. It's just 10 minute walk to/from the Kaihimmakuhari station and restaurants which is convenient to get around. It's a short bus ride to AEON Mall and 10-minute walk to the Makuhari Messe exhibition hall. The room is very comfortable and clean. I had a flask to boil water to make tea/coffee and a fridge to keep food in. The bathroom was clean, hot water worked well, water pressure was good, towel was clean and soft. The bed was really comfortable and the airconditioning worked well. I had a nice view of the ocean.

The only thing that can be improved is to add TV channels with English. All channels are in Japanese and even the English news is dubbed to Japanese

Location is good for travelers, not so far from station. Able to deposit baggage for free before check-in time, thank you so much. There are humanness facilities, I love There are many places to chill nearby, especially the bay at sunset time (1km far). Room size is Ok, not too small for 2 people. Personal facilities provided for travelers are so good. There are the skywalk to many important places out there, Hall/Messe, shopping mall, other hotels. There is laundry-dryer machine, 24/7 stores, so good. My room is sea view room, so excellent in the morning and night.

The hotel was lovely. It had several restaurants and bars which where great and not over priced. They have 2 buses that stop at the hotel and take you to either of the tokyo airports, this costs around £5. The hotel is conveniently placed for Disneyland Tokyo and is much cheaper than the Disney hotels. The hotel also has 2 excellent onsens divided into male and female, as in most onsens the oolicy is to be naked (you get used to it) and the experience is well worth it.

Nothing everything was good.. for people new to Japan, all hotel rooms are tiny no matter what the star rating.

Stayed here while attending an event at Makuhari Messe. The hotel location for that purpose is excellent, only a few minutes on foot to the convention centre. For general sightseeing not so good as it's located outside Tokyo and about 10-15 minute walk from the nearest station. The staff was super polite and having in-hotel restaurants and convenience store is a very good thing to have. Room was clean and exactly what you'd expect from an APA hotel.

The hotel should have more washing machines, they all seemed to be in use everytime I checked, but eventually after some waiting was able to wash my laundry. The bathroom light stopped working on the second day of my stay, but somehow fixed itself later that evening. One thing that wasn't the hotel's fault was some guests talking loudly in the hallway late at night which was somewhat annoying.

I initially was assigned a smoking room, but I didn't want to sleep in a smoking room, so at check-in the front desk staff were able to find me a non-smoking room. Thank you! The breakfast was excellent, the housecleaning service even better, having two Lawsons convenient stores in the hotel took care of my snacks, and the view from my room was delightful.

I had requested an early check-in when I booked, because my flight landed at 8am and I was at the hotel by 10am. The staff said it was impossible, but I suspect it wasn't. I think the hotel should be able to arrange for an early check in (with a fee is fine) for those who travel long distances and arrive exhausted and jet lagged.

I spent a week in this hotel for a conference located at the Makuhari Messe. The hotel could not be closer to the conference venue, as a direct covered catwalk links the hotel to the center. The APA hotel is the typical business hotel with a few nice addition, like 3 different SPA/onsnen open almost 24hrs, 4 restaurants including a 50th floor bar/restaurant and an open air swimming pool that unfortunately was closed at the time of our stay. Kudos to the bartender at the 50th floor, great quality of the cocktails. The bed was very comfortable, if small. The staff is very professional, kind and available at any time. It is also possible to ship luggage to and from the hotel to travel luggage free. The hotel has a direct shuttle bus to/from Narita airport and is connected with central Tokyo in about 30 min train, with the station at 10 min by walk. Very convenient for the Tokyo Disney parks. There isn't much to see in the surrounding area, but usually people come in this area for business, for the baseball stadium and for shopping.

Considering the warm outdoor temperatures of Tokyo in June, the open air swimming pool could very well be opened for the guests. The buffet dinner isn't great as quality and variety of the food offered, the breakfast is much better in comparison. The room and the toilet are small but this is fairly common in Japan.

- great view of the sea, can see very far out. - easy check in and check out process, didn't really require staff as there is good english guidance. - clean rooms with tea/ amenities - There is a bus that will take you from the hotel to and from Narita or Haneda airport for 1000yen. - convenice store inside the hotel - Onsen/bathing avaliable.

- A bit far from the station probably 15 min walk, however if you are attending an event at Makuhari Messe I think its fine as it would make the venue a 5min walk. - limited food options in the area. And they are mainly chain restaurants. - No local TV channel, cant watch the news or local TV.

Our view of the bay was spectacular. The beds were comfortable. Close to the train station and shopping district only a 10 minute walk where you just follow the walk way. 20minute train ride to Disneyland. Facilities were awesome laundry, pool, money exchange machine, eateries.

The air con worked the first night but then didn't work the next two days. There was a wall fan that worked for 1 day then didn't work. The pillows were extremely hard. The bath /shower needed an extra clean there was scum and mould in it.

Location is directly opposite Makuhari Messe and it was chosen for that reason. I use the same hotel whenever I want to walk to and from an event multiple times in the same day. The actual rooms are more spacious than the average APA hotel as well.

The price was abnormally high for just one night of my stay which brought the cost up significantly. The laundry services worked fine, but were almost always in use by other guests, so expansion of those services in the future would be nice.
