The staff were welcoming and helpful, although I had made a mistake on booking the rooms, my mistake. Ended up with 1 non smoking and 1 smoking room. The non smoking room didn't appear to smell of smoke. Comfortable beds and good bathroom. Breakfast was good with several choices and beverages too. Laundry facilities were very useful and takes 100 yen coins. Good views of Mt Fuji from both rooms. It's about a 45 - 60 minute walk to the main bus station. Taxi costs about 1600 yen. The free shuttle bus is useful for getting to the main bus station.

The staff have difficulty in conversing in English but they tried their best using Google translate etc to understand and help us. She also help us to fill up the luggage transportation form promptly as promised. The stay come with buffet breakfast which filled up our stomach well before we leave to start climb fuji. 😋 The spread was oiishi !! Also, the room come with a good view of fujisan !!

I booked a smoking room by accident and found out about it too late. So I was expecting terrible smoke smell in the room but it was not too bad. The hotel is located in the walkable distance from Fujisan station.

My room was "mountain view" and it technically was, but the window was very small... maybe because it was located at the end of the floor? We were able to see Mt. Fuji but I wish the window was a little bigger.

Fujisan Station Hotel is located a few minutes walk from the station and bus port in Fujioshida. The rooms are a little dated but incredibly clean. The breakfast room has a very pleasant outlook and the staff were very courteous. Views to Fuji-Dan outside the front door and it’s easy to walk to local shrines, cafes, bars and vintage stores.

The staff were very helpful. Our room was clean and quiet. Location was great being so close to Fujisan Station where we could catch local buses and trains to places of interest nearby very easily. An added bonus was being able to purchase tickets to FujiQ Highland at the hotel which allowed early entry into the park.

We stayed here after a long journey from Nagano, staying a night before heading to our main hotel in the area. We didn't expect much as it was a temporary stay, however, we were pleasantly surprised that our room did somewhat have a Mt. Fuji view via a tilted window. If you're coming from a long trip and would like to cool your heels for the evening, I highly recommend this hotel.

Fantastic location, can see Mount Fuji from my room. The room is also very clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly. Not a lot of variety for the breakfast but sufficient for us.

Nothing. My family and I like this hotel so much, we will come back and stay in this hotel if we visit Mount Fuji again.

Hotel is very close to the railways station and also restaurants very you can eat are not far away. We had a walk also around and could enjoy the local life style

Hotel is a bit old, breakfast is not so tasty, but ok. It could be more European style, as you receive many international guests.

Very close to Mt. Fuji and the local train station. The staff were exceptional and very helpful in organizing an early morning taxi to take us to Fuji 5th Station.

Hotel is a little dated but is still great value for the location! Mattresses may be a little firm for some people.

Our rooms were clean and spacious with a clear view of Fujisan. The staff were really helpful. And one particular staff member went above and beyond in helping us resolve a matter with JR East. We really appreciated his help.
