Very accessible location. The self check-in process was also smooth. I felt safe the entire stay as a solo traveller and it even had a homey feel. The rooftop view of Mt Fuji on a clear morning was fantastic.

The rooftop area either was under construction or not well maintained--it could have been a more relaxing rooftop experience. There was a kitchen but there's no information given to you whatsoever so I did not discover it until I saw the signs to the kitchen. There was also the issue of the toilets not being cleaned/cleared of trash often enough as the trash bin gets full quite fast.

The hotel is in a wonderful location and you can see Mount Fuji so clearly from the roof, it really was stunning. It is near the station and is also near many convenience stores and supermarkets. There is a cafe/bar you can eat in. The beds were comfy and the room was very basic but very nice. It's really great value for the location and room.

The locks are a little weird and our door didn't lock properly at first. Because of the self check in some people get confused and a family opened our door and asked us to leave our room before realising they had the wrong room. The toilets get a bit dirty in the morning due to the amount of people staying. There was very loud construction work at 8am onwards which was not signposted anywhere in the property to warn us.

Mt Fuji station is just 280meters away fr hostel. From Shinjuku, Tokyo, our JR Fuji EXcursion ticket brings us right on Mt Fuji Station. The station has a fast food area, reasonable food choices. Station also has a roof deck :) free to view Mt Fuji!. Theres also a Daiso in the station. From here, Fuji Q Hi land is a station away, KAwaguchico Station about 5 minutes away . HOstel is very clean, c, free towels n toiletries. Heater in room. Bunk beds has privacy curtains n own lite, outlet. Free to store luggage. There's a common lounge on ground floor where you can use and can eat food from outside. Free capuccino coffee and tea. WAsher Yen200 n dryer Yen100.

Female toilet - on second level. My room with my 2 children is on ground floor. No elevator. No reception desk in person. Communicate via online messages.

You can have an amazing view of Mt Fuji from the rooftop. Unlike Kawaguchiko station, surrounding of Fujisan is just a small town so there is really not much activity and sightseeing you can do in this town but Kawaguchiko station is only a stop away where you have plenty of things to do. This Fujisan Station is not covered by our JR Pass so we have to purchase another ticket at Otsuki (if I am not mistaken) to reach Fujisan Station. There is a free coffee machine guest can use, a mini fridge in the common area and pantry with kitchenware and utensils for your use during your stay.. The photos of Fujisan they advertise here is the same exact view you will see if you decided to stay here

I love how you they let the guest do self checking in and out but sometimes I wish there would be a staff on standby so to help guest with any issues ie calling a taxi, arranging a luggage delivery to next destination

Location: The hostel is within 5 mins walk to the transport hub where you can take bus and train. Staff Service: The staff helped to move our luggages to our room while we were out exploring and couldn't check in. Cleanliness: The hostel is clean and comfortable. Rooftop: Although it was raining when we were there, the rooftop offers a view of Mt Fuji in the morning, great for having your breakfast with a great view.

Staff Availability: There is no front staff when we arrived before check in time so there were some challenge in storing our luggages as we do not know how to contact them. We left our luggages in the lobby and the staff very kindly helped us move it to the room so a big plus for service. Room Size: Our room feels a bit small with 3 people and our luggages.

Property was super clean and the bed was very comfortable. Had women only sections which was also nice. The view of mt. fuji from the roof top was one of the best views of it I saw. Amazing!

It’s all self done, didn’t see a single staff member which was fine but it would have nice been nice if we had been able to drop our bags off there since check in wasn’t til 4. But honestly not a big deal. there a coin lockers at the station which is like a 5 minute walk away.

Lobby front space is just perfect, a lot of seat and table So comfort to sit and enjoy the drink and party with the team Rooftop with Fuji view also super stunning I can say that i view of Fuji is much closer and clearer than one from Kawaguchigo Lake

Location was amazing to stay so close to Mt Fuji station which is close to transportation to many attractions in the area including Fuji Q highlander. Mt Fuji view in roof is all worth it.

It was not clean and the shower room is in first floor. When you finish shower in your pj you are walking through front entrance which big window and everyone on the street can basically see you. Front door is not lock.

The sheek yet rustic design of the family room and lovely lobby made us feel right at home. It was supposed to have a lovely view of Mt. Fuji but it didn’t show up the next day. Free flowing tea and coffee made it fun to hangout.

No staff around. So we had no one to consult or ask about certain things. Only 3 shower stalls all at the first floor. Also, the roof top had some messy areas.

Really good location to the mt Fuji station which means you can take an early bus up to the 5th station. Easy check in process and Wi-Fi was fast. Price was really good for the area.

It’s a hostel. Good value at the expense of comfort. No soundproofing so if someone is listening to Taylor Swift whilst taking a shower you will hear it.
