walking distance to the tower and there is some restaurants nearby.

location isn’t the best as you have to take the tram to the station. most of Hakodate’s sight seeing and best restaurants are near the station. if you can find similar priced hotels near the JR station it’s best to stay there as you will save a lot of time travelling.

Cheap, decent size bathtub, convenient tram that goes to Hakodate station

Poor location, trams stop running by 7 so there’s no way to get back to the hotel from anywhere else. We had to take a taxi from Goryokaku station to the hotel since we arrived at 10pm.

Hotel staff spoke English and were extremely helpful. When we couldn't find the hotel parking entrance, they went all the way to where we were parked to direct us. During parking, they even assisted in guiding our parking effort. Our rooms were comfortable and fully equipped with all amenities and toiletries we need. We can self-help get additional toiletries from the hotel lobby. They provided additional foam pillows, which were great for sleep. Goryokaku Tram Station is just outside the hotel. Many eateries nearby the hotel. Goryokaku Tower is within walking distance.

Nothing we didn't like.

1. Good location, that has convenience store right below the hotel. There is a tram station and a few bus stops (slightly away from the hotel) that goes to Hakodate Station. Walkable distance to Goryokaku Koen. 2. Good spread of breakfast buffet 3. Room size was slightly bigger than the average room size in Tokyo.

Even though there is a tram that goes to Hakodate station, it may not be the most accessible as it is only available until 7 PM, and be aware of their public holiday as it may not be available as well.

Very clean, and in a good location. Convenience store right in the lobby, very useful for getting water and other dailies.

Room was rather small, but not smaller than the average small room in Japan. Car park is the lift type, not a real big problem but will take some time to retrieve your car.

Triple rooms are spacious and top level has fantastic unrestricted views of the city, tower, mountain. Really don't think you get much better views. Rooms are clean and have all the facilities.

The location, and the 7/11 in the building was a fun extra. We could put our lugages after check-out for the rest of the day. We were very happy with our stay and will come again!

+Check in was really fast. +Very comfortable room with an awesome view! +An orthopedic pillows are the best. +The equipment is good and modern. +The lobby staff was polite and kind. We came soaked in the rain and receptionist gave us some newspapers to dry shoes. +The kitchen staff was also nice. +Breakfast is really varied and delicious.

The hotel rooms assigned to us have a good view of Goryokaku Tower. We requested for the rooms on the high floor and quite enjoyed the view. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with a good spread of buffet breakfast

The bed was big and soft, the bathtub also big and comfortable.

The fridges are a bit loud, especially at night. Also there's no place to properly store your clothes, only the bag itself.
