- Great location, close to the park and tram stop - Good price, new property, everything was clean - Breakfast was a pleasant surprise, very tasty - Staff was helpful

- This is the first time in my life I stayed in a hotel, which had "centrally controlled mode" triggered in the air conditioning unit. The reason for this is baffling me - why should anyone have an A/C in the room, when you cannot set the temperature by yourself? I had a look at other reviews - many other guests complained about this. As far as I remember - the night temperature was set to 25 degrees - this is definitely not ideal for everyone. Not to mention that the window cannot be open (and yes - I did read other reviews and the subsequent replies by the hotel staff pointing out that we can ask the staff member to open the window for us - why? Why should we bother? It is not convenient at all) and thus during particularly warm day I was sweating in my own room, since I was working.

The breakfast was good and had a wide selection for breakfast. The staff helping us with the check in was friendly and went above and beyond to assist us to find out where the closest location to buy an IC card was. Turns out that Maru Imai shopping centre just 3 minutes walk away has a tax free counter on level 5 that sells the transport card and various other tourist services with regards to tax free and discounts.

The rooms are a little on the smaller side, but nothing some creative manoeuvring can't solve!

Very clean hotel, staff were very helpful, house keeping staff were attentive and friendly. We enjoyed our stay. Very good value for money. We got to the hotel by tram, very easy to get around Hakodate, and its main station. Highly recommend it. We will come back and stay again thank you!

Good location with lots of food options near by. It's modern and clean. Nice firm but comfortable mattress. All toiletries provided. Staff very helpful. Parking onsite in stacker for 800Y and plenty of other options around.

Shower smelt abit damp from being locked up but a flush of the drains sorted that out. A/C was a noisy.

I was impressed with the level of detail that the housekeepers attended to during my stay. Even though I put a sign on the door telling them not to make up my room, they kindly hung a bag of goodies ,including some fresh towels and toiletries on my door. Excellent job!

The hotel was clean and in mint conditon. The room was enough for one person with several suitcases. There are a few convenience stores around and Starbucks at the other end of the street. This is close to a cable car station.

The staff is kind. There is many restaurants near hotel.

The location is between station and the other tour spot. We have to get on local train. It is little bit inconvenience for me.

Simple stay. Reasonable sized room for Japan. Good value for money. Very clean

Property was clean, front desk was friendly and helpful. Room is functional! Would stay again if Im planning to visit the tower or park.
