Great view from 13th floor where they have their reception as well. Free coffee and tea also available, so one can sit there and enjoy the view with their free drink. We sat there for an hour or so as we had nothing to do while waiting for the next shinkansen.

Staff is not that great, some are kind and professional but some are not. When I requested them to make a change to my booking, I straightaway got a very RUDE "dekimasen" which means cannot do in Japanese. I called again to say that I booked via Booking.com then the same person asked me to wait and he could change the dates. Also, on checkin I am guessing it was the same guy who looked in a rush for us to understand all the details, felt a little awkward. Location is a bit far from station. 8-10 mins if moving with a heavy luggage.

The hotel can easily be reached from the train station, it is a quick 5min walk. The check in went smooth and without any problems - reception is open around the clock. The hotel is eco-friendly and will not clean your room every day. However, fresh towels are hung on doors each morning for those who need them. The room was clean and spacious enough for two people on a short trip. People with large suitcase might have to rotate a little. The beds are the most comfortable. Each room comes with a small fridge and a coffee/tea maker.

Sometimes trains could be heard in the room. This was due to it facing the train tracks. Since trains do not run in the night, the issue wasn't as bad and was easily resolved by the use of earplugs.

Overall comfortable and good service from staff. Good location near station and associated shops and restaurants. Japanese set breakfast was good.

Parking is a bit hit and miss as it relies on finding nearby parking as only a few spaces at the hotel. But there are a couple in short distance. The laundry facilities are limited to two machines with no baskets etc and difficult to get availability for use. So feel it is kind of overstated to claim the facility on listing without qualification.

We spent just one day visiting Kanazawa and needed a one night stay close to the train station. The hotel met our expectations not only in terms of super convenient location - very close (3 min walk) to the train station and the tourist loop bus stop, but also in comfort. The room was almost an identical replica of the one we had at the Wing International hotel where we stayed in Kyoto and this was a very pleasant surprise, as we really enjoyed that other hotel. The staff very accommodating and amiable.

No negatives to say

The set up of the room was very practical. The foldable mirror facing the window was really handy when it comes to putting on makeup in the morning. You can hear and see the train from the room. We loved the capsule coffee machine.

The reception was not on the main floor so it was a bit difficult to navigate at night. It also made the hotel less welcoming in my opinion. I wish there were some Japanese style buffet for breakfast.

The room had all the necessary amenities and the staff was really nice.

We didn't get a good night sleep. The pillows were neck-breaking high and the bed cover was really thick. We tried to get the temperature down using the AC, but it was too slow. Opening the window was possible, but there was no mosquito net, plus it was noisy outside and polluted (the hotel is next to the railway tracks and to a rather big road).

Great location close to JR transport. Staff were not able to speak much English, and I can't speak much Japanese. Despite this, they did everything they could to work with us to translate and communicate and make us feel comfortable. Room was comfortable with lots of thoughtful amenities. Breakfast was delicious and the restaurant art is very cool and unique! Thank you!

I forget my bag when checkout , hotel staff sent me an email ask me what I want to do . Go back to pickup or they sent it to Kanazawa for me . Two day later I receive my bag , nothing missing , money and document …. Many thanks . Hotel only 5 minutes walk from JR station , plenty restaurants nearby , we visit most attractions in Kanazawa .

the free Kanizawa tea was amazing. toiletries in the room were of good quality. hotel is a few minutes walk from bus and train station which was very handy for food and transport. if you like trains, this is a perfect train spotting hotel from the lobby balcony as you enjoy a coffee in the morning or drink at night
