It was a fantastic stay and the hotel was very modern-looking, including very clean rooms. The front desk staff seemed incredibly hardworking and accommodating (given that our Japanese language was limited). There is also an ice and water machine downstairs and vending machines, microwaves etc. One of the best value-for-money hotels by location - the JR Yamanote line will take you to most major areas a tourist might want to visit.

The housekeeping staff were hardworking and always did a great job with cleaning our room. However, we weren't able to understand the housekeeping system very well. Firstly, housekeeping works on a 3-day cleaning policy but does not change the sheets (even for long stays like our week-long stay), so this is something that needs to be specially requested at the front desk if you do need it. Also, although we alerted them that we didn't need housekeeping on certain days because we did not want to be disturbed (there is a sign to put out), we still had housekeeping ask us. I think if the hotel can improve their housekeeping system rules, it would make for a much more comfortable stay.

APA is a reliable chain establishment that always offers the same experience. It's clean, the staff will help to their extent, you can come and go at any time as the reception is open 24/7. Every room also features a flat screen TV conveniently placed in front of the reasonably sized double bed. Komagome station is conveniently nearby and offers rides across major stations of Tokyo via Yamanote sen.

The rooms are tiny and economically optimised. Necessary facilities are all present but metaphorically speaking foreigners may experience a slight feeling of claustrophobia. Taking a bath in the room is alright but pales in comparison to an onsen which I would recommend instead.

Effortless check-in and check-out procedures made my stay a breeze. The hotel exuded cleanliness and modernity, a testament to its recent construction. Despite the cozy size of the room, it was efficiently laid out, containing everything I needed without any sense of deprivation. Notably, the absence of noise ensured a tranquil night's rest, adding to the overall satisfaction of my stay.

The room size was my only concern, resembling a shoe box in its compactness. However, a clever use of space beneath the bed allowed for accommodating two large suitcases, mitigating the issue and showcasing a smart design approach.

The location was great - just approximately 5 minutes by walking to JR metro station - Komagome. The staff was very nice and the breakfast awesome in Japan style.

As a traveler from Europe, I would really appreciate an adapter because it took me some time to get one, and some hotels have that. Also, the breakfast is really just in Japanese style so a lot of fried and raw - for my stomach it was a little bit tough at the beginning but it looks awesome 🤩

We didn't like the fact that the tv switches on automatically when you put your room card in the switch, it's loud and startling. The room was pretty small but we didn't mind so much The area didn't feel too comfortable

Great location, close to the station and on the Yamanote line. Very quiet neighborhood, but close to a few restaurants and convenience stores. Staff was very nice and offered to clean the room many times. Good value for the price.

The carpet in the room didn't look very clean.

I can not choose AC to be Cool or Heat. It is controlled by the hotel. It is Heat in the first few days and I felt so hot even I adjusted to 18 degree. After it’s Cool but it is so cold even I adjusted 30 degree. Besides, my window was faced the wall of the neighbor family home. I didn’t feel well due to it’s dark and not open. I suggested the staff can tell the customer to have this issue while checking in.

The location is great, very close to subway. Staffs were nice and helpful. There're plenty of restaurants nearby. The neighbourhood is clean and quiet. We loved it.

Sometimes the staff forgot to refill our coffee/paper cup etc. The space is really confined, it was expected tho. The room is good enough for single traveller or two small persons.

Close to metro and station. Shops (konbini) and restaurants all around. Confortable bedding, very good service. And the hotel managed to fulfill a request I sent them while I was booking. I really enjoyed and appreciated it. Thank you so much.

Everything! Such a beautiful comfortable hotel. We even forgot one of our electronics in the room and the hotel have made a Request to have it sent back to the UK as I am moving to a diff country to travel! How amazing is that! Such good value for money and all the amenities even down to the most particular of toiletries !
