The property is a 3 storey detached house in the centre a world heritage area, including temples, shrines and narrow cobbled streets. Despite the overwhelming number of visitors in the area, the house is in a quiet side street and virtually noise free. There is a fully equipped kitchen and dining area on the ground floor. The 3 bedrooms are located on the 2nd and 3rd floors. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable (one is a futon on the tatami floor). The two bathrooms are a good size with plenty of towels which were renewed every few days. Great value for money.
Though there is a sofa in one of the bedrooms, the dinning area is a bit crowded and could be re-configured to be more comfortable. The second floor has two bedrooms though one is a walk-through which may not work for everyone. The upper floor has a bathroom but the main bathroom and both toilets are on the ground floor which is a bit inconvenient for people who need a late night toilet visit.

For Room: Like the bathtub, the bathtub in 3rd floor is large. The bedroom in 3rd floor is tatami, the room view is very nice, can have a photoshoot session in that room with Kimono, we purposely go back to the house for photo shooting before return our kimono at ni-nen zaka. Location is nearby the Kiyomizu temple with 10minutes walk, for those who want to stay longer time in Ni-nen Zaka and Sannen zaka can stay here. Recommended to reach Kiyomizu temple before 7.30am, 8am already full with the School tour group (Primary or secondary school in Japan) and also the tourist group. Same with the Ninen Zaka and Sannen Zaka, the people is full until 5pm. The Host is nice and the instruction is clear to enter the room/ using the room facilities.
The toilet only in the 1st floor, and bathroom is in 1st floor and 3rd floor while the bedroom is located in 2nd floor and 3rd floor. Not so convenience for elderly who like to keep go toilet during night. However, this is not as issue for young people. Need to walk 10-15minutes from the public transport, if stay one or 2 nights is still okay, but 3 nights and above will be too tired to return. The shops nearby will close after 6.30pm - 7.00pm and there is not much restaurant nearby. However, can walk about 15minutes have a 24hours super market and bring the raw material and cook oden in the house.

The location of this house was pretty good, just a few steps away from Sannenzaka, and Kiyomizu-dera was a few minutes away. The surrounding was beautiful as it was right in the middle of a tourist attraction, yet it wasn't noisy. The bus stops nearby make it convenient to travel as there are buses to most attractions. There's also quite a variety of food nearby if you don't want to travel out during the day. The house itself was comfortable, and there were many power points on the 1st floor which meant everyone could use 1 at the same time. We were also provided with a lot of coffee pods which we enjoyed daily. When we arrived, we noticed that one of the lights at the stair case was spoilt but we forgot to inform the host. However, they fixed it on the day they came to clean in the midst of our stay, which we really appreciate.
It would be good if there was a toilet on the 3rd floor with the other bathroom, but this is a minor issue. Overall, there's nothing we didn't like.

The location was superb. Less than 15 steps and you're IN Sannenzaka ... the quientiscential Kyoto experience. Living in there was fantastic. Rooms were spacious and could accommodate all 5 of us, and there was room for more people there as well. Hosts were quite obliging in extending late checkout. The clincher is that you could walk around Sanenzaka, ge ta snack, return to eat it and rest ... and then head out again. It is located just before one major set of steps up to KIYOMIZU-DERA temple.
To be fair ... the house was a little creepy in its architecture. Not great for older folks who don't like to climb stairs. Quite narrow. But it was the hidden dark corners that lent a little aura of creepiness. Like you could feel someone had lived there before. But the sense was benign.

Location was amazing in one of the main tourist attractions areas, all the beds were extremely comfortable, the living area was nice for friends to gather and hang out and eat. All the amenities were great.
Some parts of the property weren't clean - downstairs shower curtain, stains on 1st floor seats and cushions, blood on 2nd floor couch. Otherwise the rest of the property was very clean so we were able to overlook it.

The location and the size of the house. It’s so spacious which is a luxury. the house is tucked away on a quiet side street but near so many attractions. We had a wonderful stay, thanks. Communication with the management company was very good- they were really helpful with our check-in.
only one thing- one of the mattresses in the first floor bedroom is not comfortable and should probably be replaced. the rest of the beds were very comfortable.

Lots of space, two toilets, full kitchen with extra appliances. Great location just off the touristy market area, easy to get to kiyomizu-dera, but quiet at night.
Both toilets are on the 1st floor so everyone on floor two and three have to go downstairs at night to use them.

Great location. Just situated in sanneizaka and kiyomizudera temple is just behind the stay. The night empty Street of sanneizaka is just breathtaking.
The second toilet is too high up, need to climb a lot of stairs which is not good for elderly.

Amazing location, next to, arguably, the most scenic part of the town, which in the evening is all deserted by tourists. Very good value for money.

The air conditioner is good to warm the house.
Must be careful with the faucet of the toilet on the first floor. The water is too strong.
