Very comfortable little unit (bed and pillows- and I'm unfortunately sensitive to that). Location is great for walking around some major temples and shrines. Bear in mind that while there are lots of busses running from right outside the hotel, you can't use the Kansai pass on them.

+ an amazing, wonderful view from the window, we enjoyed a great many sunsets + comfortable beds and cushions, loved the warm puffy duvet + an amazing bathroom with a bathtub, it had a heater and a dryer, so the laundry was dry in a matter of hours, as well as you never were cold during cold winter days, also it had a funny small TV + functional kitchen with all the necessary kitchenware + a washing machine which was great while on a long stay as ours, laundry beads provided + multiple towels which were changed every three days + a big desk and many electricity outlets + very friendly and pleasant staff + for a long stay, the cleaning service is provided every three days
- Not transparent windows, to enjoy the view you have to open the window - When they did the cleaning of the room for long stays every 3 days, they would provide also toothbrushes, combs, a special body towel to clean yourself (like kind of a loofa) and trash bags. However, sometimes they wouldn’t. It felt random and up to the person in charge of the cleaning that day, and it was a little bit unpleasant.

I loved the apartment-styled layout of the room. Everything about the room was nice and clean. I love having a small kitchen area and a laundry machine in the room. The bathroom had its own separate soaking tub area, much like what you would see at an onsen but at a much smaller scale. I really appreciated being able to do laundry in the room. The small, accessible balcony was a nice bonus to have. The guy checking me in was very nice and helpful. I only had two nights booked there and wished I stayed longer. Note: You are given two key cards: a white card and a black card. The white card is to turn on the room's lights, and the black card is to open the door into the section with the guest rooms and to open the door of your own room. Do not forget to take the black card with you when you leave the room. I forgot to do this the first time I left the hotel, since I was used to only have to deal with one card at the other hotels. So when I got back I didn't have a way to get back to my room. Lucky the receptionist guy was still at the front-desk so he let me back in with his master card. It would probably be a good idea for the front-desk to emphasize the two card keys to guests when checking them in.

We stayed in the superior apartment and had a fantastic stay. The beds were VERY comfortable and the room was spotlessly clean. The room included everything you could need - fridge, kettle, tea, washing machine, laundry soap, plenty of bath towels. The keycard access was easy to use. The air conditioning was cold and a lovely escape from the 38degree heat. The location is a 10-minute walk from the historic precinct around Kiyomizu temple, and a short bus ride to the Nishiki market area. Overall fantastic value for money and I would definitely recommend to stay here.

The hotel is right on a large avenue, you can take the bus almost right outside, also there was a convenience store a block away and several restaurants. This hotel is walking distance to the Gion district. Also, the room had a small fridge and, if I recall correctly, a washing machine. This hotel chain has a guest center, you can check-in there and leave your luggage, it will get delivered to your hotel!
The room size was extremely small, I am almost 6ft tall and it was hard to move around. We were not able to fit our luggage. Also, the staff is limited, out of my 4 day (3 night) stay, I think I saw the staff twice. This was our shortest and most expensive stay on our trip.

Great room close to key sites in Gion/Higashiyama district and also only 25 minute walk into downtown shopping and Nishiki market areas. Good transport options at the front door. Many excellent restaurants along the street in front and a convenience store over the road. The room itself is quite large for Japan and haha onsite and laundry facilities in the room. Reception staff were very kind and helpful with recommendations for dining. Thank you!
All good. We had a very long trip on the 206 bus from Kyoto Station to get there (over an hour) but that was our fault as we selected the wrong route direction. Only 20 minutes the right way ;-)

The hotel is a 5-minute walk from Gion and right in front of the bus stop from/to the train station. Many 24/7 shops around like 7-Eleven and Lawson. It is in a very good location to explore Kyoto. The room size was great, especially compared to our hotel in Tokyo. We arrived too early for the check-in and we left our luggage in the Sakura Guest Centre close to the train station. It is just a great option for people who are arriving early in the morning and can go directly to explore the city. They transferred our luggage to the hotel free of charge.
The only thing we didn't like was that our room was on the first floor, next to the street and the entrance. We could hear all the street noise, bikes, honking, and every time someone was entering the building when the front door was shuttering. Otherwise, my score would be higher.

The room was spacious and included a kitchenette with washing machine. It was very clean and there were plenty of toiletries provided. Beds were comfortable. Our room 401 on the 4th floor had a view with Kiyomizu-dera in the distance! The location is easily accessible to some major sites and the sky hop tourist bus stops nearby. I was glad that we could check in at the guest center near the train station and they took our bags to the hotel for us!
Unfortunately there's a garage for emergency vehicles right next door so during the day you will hear sirens and a loud speaker telling people to get out of the way. (They don't do it at night thank goodness). The staff at the desks of both the hotel and guest center are okay in terms of friendliness. Not very friendly but not unfriendly.

Very good location, few minutes walk to Kiyomizu temple. 15mins walk to Yasaka-Schrein. 13mins walk to Kiyomizu-Gojo station. Many bus stations around, easy to go to main attractions. Several convenient stores and one big 24 hours supermarket nearby. Room was clean with kitchen, washing machine. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. Very good price for people who plans to stay in Kyoto for a longer time.
The wall was a bit thin, some rooms facing to the main road side could be a bit noisy. But it shouldn’t be a problem if you use ear plugs during nights. One suggestion I may want to give to this Hotel : It is better if you can write down in every room to remind guests to walk gently in their room. I believe many people come abroad don’t know how thin the Japanese apartments’ wall can be, they still walk heavily like in their home country. This can lead to a disturbance to guests living under them. I believe no one meant to do this, but they just no idea how the situation is in Japan. It’s better to remind every guest in advance.

We have arrived late at night and the staff has waited for us even though it was later than the check in time and we really appreciated it. The room was extremely clean and tidy and the mattress really comfortable. In the room we also had a kitchen available and even a washing machine. We were provided with lots of towels and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hotel is in a great position. On the other side of the street there is a Family Mart that was a plus. Great value for money.
Nothing, everything was better than the expectations.
