I was so surprised that the room is sooooo spacious!!! It's literally has everything u need, a living room, a dining room, a kitchen(with all EA), and a sleeping tatami area where 6 ppl can fit(we were only two!). And the small garden is absolutely LOVELY!!! It's in a small lane And very quiet at night.(I am a light sleeper But I didn't hear anything at night) U could rent a bike from the house, there are bike keys in the kitchen. Wish we could come back soon. (p.s., a special thanks to MK taxi company, in jp, u couldnt book taxi in advance in Uber, so I called MK taxi And booked a very early morning pick up. I was worried if they would come, or come on time. What impressed me is the driver came 10 mins early, with clean uniform and spotless cab, And He is very polite and helpful. On this, u could always trust Japanese!)

We we're there at sakura season, But I guess maybe in winter it would be a bit cold.

Our host was very attentive to any special requests or issues and responded immediately. The garden was so lovely. Fantastic shower and so great to have a washer and dryer for our family. The bike hire was so convenient and made our stay so enjoyable. So many lovely design ideas.

Not much really. The kitchen could use a few extra items like a chopping bench, larger bowls and plates and an extra chopping board and a grater/peeler. Otherwise, lovely.

Staying at Miyazakiya was an absolute delight! One of the standout features for me was the availability of bikes for hire. This made exploring the neighborhood incredibly convenient and added an extra layer of excitement to our stay. The little zen courtyard stole my heart with its tranquil ambiance.

We didn't understand the instructions to use the water filter but it wasnt a big deal.

The best thing about this accomodation was the personal touch. We had a good communication with the host, who came and picked us up and gave us good advice on what to do and how to get there. They even bought us icecream! :)

Nothing that we can think of. We loved every single day.

What I liked the most was definitely the beds, the shower, the washer/dryer. A lot was available to us, the host provided fresh towels, razors, tooth brush and tooth paste in seperate trays for each guest. Very thoughtful!

There was nothing much I didnt like. Perhaps the lack of a closeby convenience store was unfortunate. Although, the 711 is about a 5-8 minute walk away. Not much of a big deal when coming from the bus stop anyway!

Very nice place in a quiet neighborhood. There's a conbini nearby if you need anything.

About 30 min from the station by bus. If you need to move quickly, this may not be the place for you.

We had a great stay at Miyazakiya. We loved staying at a traditional japanese house in Kyoto. Everything was perfectly arranged and so beautiful. We had absolutely everything we needed and especially enjoyed the view into the little garden. Bikes are available as well. We would definitely stay here again, when we are back in Kyoto.
