Loved the friendly staff and the little shop downstairs. It has a laundry with 3 washers and dryers so never had a problem with having to wait when doing laundry. It was a 12 minute walk to Kyoto Station but Toji station was only 3 minutes away for when we were extra tired. Having a mall 5 mins away was also very handy. Loved that there were 2 pillows and a cushion, quite unusual from our experience and very much appreciated.

The bathroom was quite snug and the hand towels hung above the toilet which was a bit precarious. Not enough to put me off staying here again though as this hotel was fab!

I stayed at 5 hotels during my visit and this one had the most impressive and aesthetic decor and experience. The rooms were the largest of all the hotels (I do admit I am frugal so my choices are always the standard minimal rooms), and the reception area is beautiful. I never get the breakfast plans since I like to head out early in the morning, so I did not use the food areas much. There was a large and convenien Aeon mall down the street.

The location was slightly out of the way and I did a lot of walking in the rain due to unfortunate weather conditions. I believe I also paid 200 yen to rent the roomwear as well. Most places are charging to rent roomwear nowadays so it's not a big deal. I will make sure to bring my own pajamas next visit!

Fantastic hotel - great location, 10 minites walk from Kyoto Station and 5 minutes from a shopping mall with food court. Easy transport links. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. We loved the option to hire items for the room, and the self service food and drinks on the ground floor.

Great little place, I'm so glad I booked it. Rooms are small, but comfortable. Great beds. They don't offer breakfast, but there's a food and drink section downstairs, where you can buy coffee, wine, snacks, soups. There's also a cute chill out zone and a laundry section

One thing, but important: air ventilation wasn't good, especially in a bathroom. After taking a shower it was like a sauna, without fresh air. Second person doesn't have a chance to take a quick shower, you have to wait after the heat gets off

The hotel is located at the mid-town and not far away from the big shopping mall, AEON. Great shopping experience and food in AEON. The breakfast is self service and various of choices in the food corner, great food and plenty of spaces for dining and relax in the lobby.

At first, I saw that pajamas suit placed at the front desk was really nice and attractive. However, I was told that the pajamas was only for rent, a bit disappointed on this issue. I would suggest that those parjamas could be allowed for sale after use and let us to bring them back to our home.

Every part of this hotel is amazing - the lobby with a self-serve cafe is very fun and useful, the staff were very nice and remembered who we were, and the rooms were super spacious which was a nice surprise since most hotel rooms are much smaller. I recommend staying here if you are travelling to Kyoto.

All of my family members enjoy the design of hotel lobby facility and room furniture. Very clean and comfortable. 24hrs payable self-service food and drinks conner for any time you needs Nearby Kyoto station and shopping centre also food place with air-conditioning. Friendly staff provide good custom service. Wifi signal strong enough and evenly.

Need pay ¥200 for night sleeping suit set.

As a Canadian, it is a bit surprising that everything is so small here in Japan. The rooms are super small, but charge prices that relatively (if not more) than in North America. They are also significantly smaller than those in North America.

The iron and ironing board are WAY too small. Making it frustrating to iron a full 4 piece suit.

Super friendly staff all spoke English well and were very helpful. Location was great and facilities were readily available. Highly recommend

Personally did not like the food available on property. Functioned as a mini pop up store and I was provided with a voucher to spend there. Not a major issue for me
