Loved how close it was to Toji station. It was also well located within walking distance to temples and shrines that were magnificent. The little restaurant a few doors up had the most amazing food. We also thought the sweets time (afternoon tea, coffee and snacks) offered in the library cafe (for free) each day was a lovely bonus! And a great way to connect. It felt nice and safe to have reception staff on to greet you and assist with check in, bookings or general questions. The staff were so kind and friendly. Great for our family with small kids (family of 4). The bathroom had a full bath which was great for kids to wash up each night.

Would've loved bunk beds in the room to give my kids a bed each. But we had fun pushing two singles together and sharing a bigger bed for 3 (mum and two small kids). It really is a lovely hotel, clean and well looked after.

Breakfast choice are plentiful from western to eastern. The rest area is open until 11PM. Coffee all day long! There are 2 restaurants (see photos) nearby but i didn't go in. Other places like Lawson, KFC, Family Mart and FRESCO are walking distance. This is a brand new hotel and comfortable stay. Bathtub available and the triple bed bedroom is quite big. Staff very polite and helpful. I lost my hotel key and get replace with no charge. Location is perfect because near Toji Station (Kintentsu Line). May need to take bus to other attraction place in Kyoto. Hotel has the travelling guide (bus/train) printed copy for free. Money changing kiosk also available at the lobby for emergency use.

Washing machine with dryer function, seems a bit doubtful on the cleanliness. Total 3 machines and most of the time are occupied. There are dobby outside hotel but quite far away.

Good breakfast and the rooms are quite large. The hotel is very modern. The coin washer/dryer combination was very usedul too. They lend out umbrellas for free on rainy days. Out the door and head left for 5 minutes there's a Family Mart with a bar in it that has a decent selection of Japanese whiskey, sake and gin. Highly recommended.

Check out time at 10 a.m. is quite tight, particularly given that check-in is at 3 p.m.

This hotel stays true to its name - Comfort Hotel, and indeed we were very much comfortable throughout our stay. It is exceptional. 👍👍👍. 1. The room was spacious and it had everything we needed. Clean towels were provided daily and they also provide comfortable sleepwear :) 2. All of the staff were very helpful and courteous - from the self check-in machine to the daily breakfast to the luggage storage after check out, our requests for band aids for my daughter - everybody was very helpful. 3. Location - just in front of Kintetsu train station and 2 and 3 blocks away from bus terminal on both sides, and with restaurants, a supermarket and convenience stores nearby. About 15min walk to Kyoto station and 10mins to Aeon mall. And most importantly located in the quier side of Kyoto :) 4. Breakfast was also delicious and it had a wide variety of breads, salad and smoothies - plus the japanese sausages, eggs, meat and veggies. 5. Reasonably priced - For the rate that we paid, this hotel exceeded my expectations. 6. Amenities - their dining area was beautifully-decorated and it also serves as a library/reading area as there are books. There are also coin laundries (but we didn't try them). There's also a luggage area where you can store your luggage beyond check out if you need to just go out for some time before your flight. I love everything about this hotel. one stop away from Kyoto station, right across the train station, nice view of the Toji Temple from our room, free flowing coffee and matcha, courteous staff, big sizes room

wish it had more restaurants nearby although the nice little bakery, izakaya, Mo’s burger and konbinis are enough and Aeon Mall is just a 5 minute walk

We found this hotel to be great if you're not planning on spending a lot of time in the room. For us, the location was superb. There is a (non JR) train station across the street and several bus routes. (It's weird, but you don't really hear the train, and our room was very close to the track) If you're planning to use IC with or without a JR pass and you don't mind public transportation, this is a great location. You can walk to Kyoto station and Toji Temple and you can easily catch a bus to Gion. Also there is a convenience store very close by. The facility has laundry, vending, and a nice breakfast that had enough variety for us. The staff was very friendly and helpful with shipping bags and giving directions. This hotel also has a little machine in the lobby where you can exchange currency, which was extremely convenient. Random, but the hairdryer was amazing to keep my (natural, afro) curls popping without frizz on washday!

I didn't like that there was not an option to include breakfast, so I had to pay every morning at the front desk. It's just an additional step, and not a big deal, but including in the reservation or being able to "put it on the room" would have been easier. The beds are comfortable, but the pillows are not, and you only get one pillow per bed. So we had to use some clothes to prop them up a bit. You could be in Idaho or Kyoto, and the rooms look the same.

The hotel was right in front of Toji station but no noisy at all. There were Lawson, Family Mart and super market next to the hotel. The hotel was really clean, the beds were comfortable, towels didn’t have any smell and we can borrow extra pillows or iron when we needed. The hotel provided free drinks and snacks that we can sit in the big library cafe. And staff were polite and helpful. Also, there was a Money Exchange machine in the lobby.

The toilet smells weird( I believed it sprayed chemical after each time used). Pillows were so flat. There were only 3 washer/dryer, it’s not enough for guests. Each load took 2 hour and clothes still came out wet.

The location of the hotel is extremely convenient as it is just opposite the Toji subway station and also very near Kyoto station. The rooms have excellent view of the neighbourhood and also the hills that surround Kyoto. The lounge on the ground floor with very comfortable seating accommodation, books and free coffee and other small snacks really enhances the quality of living in a hotel. One can relax comfortably in that area after a day's hectic schedule. The breakfast served by them is also excellent with lots of options. The staff are also very pleasant and helpful. In short, the experience will be cherished by us for many coming years.

The hotel has excellent staff. The hotel provides free afternoon desserts and evening snacks. The hotel is very close to the Toji station (2 min walk), but it costs 180 yens (1 stop) to get to Kyoto station. We basically walked to Kyoto station (15-20 min) instead of taking the Toji station train. The hotel is also very close to a local supermarket (3 min walk) for cheap food; e.g., we can get a decent dinner box for 200-300 yens with the 30%-50% discount after 6-7 pm.

The location - the property is just at the nook of the station and very well located centrally.. itbhas great connectivity to all the major locations from here. The property - The property itself is beautiful and excpetionally comfortable . The hotel has very good amenities. It is spacious and comfortable with big rooms and lovely view . It also has a beautiful cafe in the ground floor which has complimentary beverages and is super relaxing . Do remove some time to spend there , it's really vibrant . The staff are extremely polite and really helpful at any hour of the day . We had a great time here and we would highly recommend this property .
