We’ve stayed there more than 30 times. It is our home away from home. Obviously we love it. The view from almost any room is gorgeous. Walk out the door and you’re right on the beach. The kids love it all year round. This time we stayed in a Japanese style room with beds. It was very clean and comfortable with a nice atmosphere. The premium coffee maker in the room was a nice treat. We’ll be headed back next week for more swimming, surfing, walls on the beach, breathtaking views and good food.

Pool closed most of the year is disappointing. It is such a nice pool. Quite a bit of wall damage in the halls poorly painted over.

- wonderful view in ocean, - Hiromi Sumida san at reception is very kind and professional (I love him !), - very big hotel (hall, reception, lounge, etc…) - shop at entrance hotel - onsen wonderful and SPA

- there is no supermarket or Konbini near hotel ! only one Konbini but 22 minutes by walk so go and back is 44 minutes ! - price of buffet dinner is very expensive : 4400 yens - hotel need renovation a few in order to be better : painting the walls for example - maybe a few expensive

Doesn't matter if you are park side, ocean side or facing Aoshima the view is always a treat. Having the beach right outside the hotel is as pleasant as it gets and a blast for the kids. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Laundry room is helpful. Breakfast is simple but good. Free parking, Nice walks on the beach. Lots of improvements in the area as well. The new shower area outside is a welcome addition. We have stayed here more than 20 times, so yes, we like it.

The building itself is getting a little old but they do a good job of trying to keep it looking good. Carpets and some furniture are looking their age.

I'm a keen surfer, so this place is well located for me. I think the price was not bad given the great view of the beach. I could check the surf from my room. The hotel actually has board racks to store your board and even waxing stands. There were fun waves right out front and to the North all within walking distance. A lot more options if you have a car. I didn't have a breakfast option, because I was getting up early to go surfing. There are shops around to pick up breakfast for the next morning. I had dinner at the Hotel Chinese restaurant that I enjoyed and there are more options within walking distance. The room itself is large with a desk area next to the tv. The bathroom is very large by Japanese standards. I plan to visit Miyazaki again some time and I will stay here again unless the price goes up.

The only thing if I had to complain is there are no convenience stores nearby. The hotel has one downstairs but its really limited to snacks and souvenirs and their coffee is not great. But if you have a car, there is one a short drive South, just a little far to walk.

This is a great place to stay if you're a fan of surfing as the seaboard is renowned for it, either for a novice or connoisseur. The panorama from the window would land on the beautiful seawaters and the bordering greenish pasture. The interior is outdated but the staff manage to keep the ambience clean and neat to make us feel relaxed.

The location is remote from the heartland Miyazaki where you need to drive for at least 20 minutes to anywhere. Also a bit pricy.

Incredible view of the beach and Aoshima. I thought staying here might be too far out of town, but the ride to the hotel from Miyazaki city was actually very pleasant.

I think the onsen tax should be included in the hotel stay so there is nothing to pay upon checkout. I normally down check out at the front desk, but I just leave the hotel. I am so glad I did go to the front desk.

onsen is good and clean. staff were helpful and friendly especially the Indian descent service staff who can speak Japanese and English fluently. within walking distance to Aoshima Island. bed was comfortable.

we were upgraded to a premium room with a double and a single bed after our assigned room’s toilet was leaking. hotel has seen better days, pool was dirty, only 1 restaurant was opened, maybe due to low occupancy rate.

Big rooms with sea view only. Good breakfast buffet. Parking is free and on property. Hotel is right on the beach and great for surfing or a roadtrip to Nichinan coast.

Pretty old looking with wear&tear in every corner. In house restaurants are over-priced. The is no pool, just an ugly looking giant fountain with hardly any water in it.

ocean view from room fantastic, large comfy beds in a spacious well appointed room, staff were helpfull and friendly, great location, but about 1 km from Aoshima station, if traveling by train the station before is closer.

Location of hotel was good and room had a beautiful view of the sea and Aoshima island. Spacious and clean room although it seems to be in need of renovation. All staff from bellboy to front desk were very helpful and friendly.

Room was warm and we were not able to adjust the temperature. Room needs updating and some new furniture.
