this is my 3rd stay at Retime. The location is perfect, right off the monorail in downtown Naha, yet near to the Koudasi St. action, if I wanted that, except that i like the quiet. Near both lawsons and 7/11 for food, with a view of the estuary part of the river. this is a residentilal neighborhood, so there are great sidewalks and slow traffic, which is an issue for me, since i walk with a cane. The elevator works fast and hits all floors. The public baths , which are also part of the hotel are always very clean and hot with most hours open, and include a sauna. At night the soda machine has many free choices like my favorites ginger ale, and also pineapple. The vending machines have a nice selection. Very seldom a line for use of the washing machines.

Nothing i can eat on their menu. i am vegan, but i didnt even see anything vegetarian on there, although i didnt even check the last 2 times i stayed, so that could have changed. the 'kitchen' does not have a sink, so that is inconvenient , to have to go drain tofu, for example, in the bathroom. but it does have hot water pot, toaster oven , and microwave.

Excellent location, mere 3 minutes walk to the monorail station, 7 min to the bus terminal. Facilities were well maintained, clean and up to date. Public bath and sauna was great.

The capsule floor lacked adequate ventilation, causing a musty odor. They ran air purifiers at a furious rate to combat this issue, but they really need to ventilate with outside air by opening the window, etc. Although it may be a tough thing to do during Okinawan summer when it's very hot and humid outside, this stagnation of air was the biggest challenge I encountered.

The location is about a 5-minute walk from the station and very close to Kokusai Dori, making it convenient for an evening stroll. It’s also within a 10-minute walk from the bus terminal, which is convenient for daytime trips to popular destinations. Additionally, there’s a Don Quijote about a 12-minute walk from the accommodation that is less crowded than the one on Kokusai Dori, making it a great spot for late-night shopping. The public area on the first floor is comfortable and offers free drinks, while the second-floor bathroom includes a large public bath, perfect for relaxing after a long day of travel. The public area outside the second-floor bathroom also has a great selection of popular manga to enjoy if you have some free time. Overall, the stay felt quite pleasant.

There is only one Lawson nearby, and it takes about a 10-minute walk to reach other convenience stores. Although the public bath has a rule that people with tattoos should properly cover them before entering, some guests still entered without following this rule. It’s recommended to emphasize this guideline to guests before check-in, especially since there were quite a few Japanese guests during my stay who may feel uncomfortable with this situation. Lastly, on the first night, I noticed an elderly guest in the room who was completely nude and preparing to sleep naked. This may be an issue in terms of hygiene and can be disrespectful to other guests, so I suggest reinforcing guidelines on this matter as well.

Can't recommend it enough! I booked a cabin since it was just 5 USD more than a capsule, it is like a tiny room but more than enough for one night. All facilities are exceptionally clean, the hangout room is amazing with comfortable reclining chairs, also there is a big common space on the first floor for eating or work. There are also an onsen and sauna, both great. Very quiet at night, unlike other capsule/cabin hotels I have stayed at before, I had perfect rest before my flight the next morning. The staff was very kind. Close to the Monorail station and just 15 minutes away from the airport. Overall, I can say that my whole stay was an experience on its own during my trip to Okinawa.

Incredible value for money. I can’t believe I got so much service and free amenities and a lovely cabin room all for such a low price! The hot bath was sensational and I always looked forward to coming back to the hotel to chill out. It was also super clean with a Roomba roaming the ground floor area and with shoes all put away. Free pyjamas too, and towels, shampoo, cleanser, moisturiser, use of hair dryers, curling irons… Everything I could possibly need. And it is SO close to Naha Bus Terminal and Asahibashi monorail station, making travel all over the south of the island incredibly convenient! I also got a cabin room as it was only a tiny bit more expensive than the capsule room and it was definitely worth it — I would highly recommend it. I also really appreciate the gender separation of the bathing areas and the hotel rooms themselves. I felt really safe here as a solo traveller.

I found it a little hard to initially work out how to use certain services (e.g. coin laundry, Japanese style bath) but I learned pretty quickly. Other than that it was great :)

Great location and lovely staff. The place was impeccably clean and quiet. I booked a cabin room which was good but you still had to be very quiet and use headphones while watching tv and not take phone calls in the room as the room only shut with a curtain. but I did expect this when I booked so can’t complain.

The room was very hot and the air-con hardly did anything to help. Struggled to sleep in there during the day because of how hot it was. Note that I’m here in January so I can only imagine how hot the rooms would get in the summer.

Amazing facilities, they have everything you could wish for. Super quiet at night! I've never stayed in a cabin hostel where I didn't need earplugs. Very clen. And the staff is very accommodating - I asked them to store my luggage for a few days while I made a trip to other part of Okinawa and they allowed it since I booked one more night at there hotel after my travel. It really helped me a lot, and they did not charge me for it either! I absolutely recommend this accommodation.

Not all staff can speak English well, but they are all polite and try to communicate, so it's not a big issue.

- Excellent value for money, probably the best while I was in Japan - The capsules here are of the best type - half-height bed area + desk area is perfect for solo travelling (just a capsule makes it annoying to get to your stuff and a full room is more expensive) - The relax room was a very nice place to chill out after a day outside. They have an excellent manga collection! I got to practice my Japanese by re-reading some of my favourites after a nice bath. - Speaking of which, the public bath was pretty good - The breakfast was also pretty nice since it let me try out some local food

They complied to my request for a quiet Deluxe cabin. The wellness and sauna for females only, is an extra bonus. The provided leisure wear came in handy to drink great coffee downstairs in busy, noisy TV lobby. Perfect location to bus terminal monorail shops convenience stores and downtown Naha while quiet at night.

Young staff without any knowledge of English by which communication after a week became tedious. Impersonal atmosphere for non-Japanese guest. Bed was too hard; my back/body could not adjust even after one week. Yet cabin was the only quiet place. Even inside sauna disturbing music till midnight so no RETIME!

It was excellent. It was perfect. I have no complaints It is new, very clean, modern, high tech, efficient, good price, great location, walking distance to Monorail station of the tourist bus terminal. The staff were hospitable, considerate, prompt. I was able to relax in my cabin room during this vacation. This hotel made my trip! My cabin room was quiete. Although I was concerned it may be noisy it was very quiete and I felt comfortable. Also I was able to relax my body with the bath house that they equip. Thanks to this hotel.

There was nothing I didn’t like. Just the laundry machine was automatically set for both washing and drying continuously. And I didn’t want my cloths to get dried by drying machine because it can shrink some fabrics. So I could not use their machine; then I had to walk to the coin laundry. So that was not convenient. I wish they separate washing machine and drying machine so that guest have choices.
