Location was great! You have everything you need right next to the hotel (Aharen Beach, hotel restaurant, snacks & drinks for sale at the reception). The breakfast buffet had lots of options (rice, fish, vegetables, cereal, bread, fruit). You can shower and wash your gear in the common shower area below the guesthouse, and there's a place to dry your stuff as well. There's a free pick-up and drop-off service to Tokashiki and Aharen ferry ports!

Restaurant staff living next room and other guests were very loud, so it's not a place to get a good rest. It's perfect to snorkel at the beach or take part in a diving tour, though. Showers are in a public area below the guesthouse and warm water stops at 10:30 pm.

Amazing stay at this hotel!! The staff was super friendly and spoke english. They were very nice and helped us several times, for example we had an issue and they took us to the center in a shuttle. Also shuttle from the ferry into the hotel was available. Super friendly and helpful at all times! The hotel was very close to the beach and it had a great breakfast. Also, a few steps away they had a restaurant, so you could buy dinner there at night. Super grateful for the people there that helped us during our stay. Definitely recommended.

I really liked the convenience. The hotel bus was waiting for us at the ferry port to pick us up and take us to the hotel. The staff was prepared for us having items that we needed to be held prior to check-in (the ferry arrives hours before check-in) and they held our stuff for us so we could go out to the beach and enjoy the day. The location was perfect since it was close to the beach. There was a shower station and rental station right around the corner so we could clean off our gear and let it drip dry without needing to lug it around. The izakaya across the street had delicious noodles and drinks (not sure if it was part of the hotel or not, but it's right outside the door). Even though there are no convenient stores nearby, I liked that the hotel desk had chu-hai, beer, water, and Blue Seal to purchase at a very reasonable price. One thing to note, the rooms are VERY quiet. I'm a very light sleeper and I did not hear the people above me, or anything going on outside. I slept like a baby.

The breakfast felt very minimal on options. Would have liked fresh grilled fish instead of fried battered fish. Since the location is so secluded from going any place else (no breakfast places or convenient stores), you have to rely on the hotel's breakfast in the morning. I just wish the breakfast had more options that were fresh so that the day starts off good. Maybe more fresh fruit, veggies, pickled veggies, and grilled/baked fish would have made breakfast a better experience.

30 seconds from one of the most beautiful beaches, breakfast and dinner was very nice, friendly staff, many options for maritime activities as well as cycling, hiking, or island hopping. I truely love this place. One cannot expect more for this price.

The mat on the tatami was so thin so that my hip bones hurted 😆 they were kindly giving me a second mat and it was OK.

The room was kind of basic but very clean. Air con was working fine. The Japanese style breakfast was very good and abundant. Personnel was very nice and helpful.

The only thing that I didn’t like, and that was my mistake for not asking in advance, was the price for the boat snorkeling trip, almost 50 US$ for half an hour of not really interesting snorkeling is way too much.

The staff were friendly and helpful, it was amazing they provided shuttle service, and the location to the beach was excellent-just a minute walk!

The only kitchen amenity they provided was hot water, cups, and tea. It would have made a huge difference if they had a microwave. Also, if they could provide a small kitchen/ kitchen supplies, it would have made our stay even better.

Amazing location right next to Aharen beach. Easy access to rental equipment, beach, food. Best swimming I have experienced here in Okinawa is Aharen beach on Tokashiki. My room was a perfect base camp to cool off in the AC & shower after my beach day concluded. Breakfast was included in my stay & it energized me to hit the beach one last time before I caught the 4pm Ferry to Naha. Remember to turn AC on when you arrive at your room. Tokashiki is very humid & the AC helped a lot to cool down. Very friendly & helpful staff! Thanks so much for a great stay on Tokashiki.

Just be aware that Tokashiki is a small island and most restaurants stop serving food around 8pm. Make sure to plan accordingly for dinner time.

Friendly and we'll organised staff. The room is simple but sufficient for a short time stay. The interior and bathroom are bit old but clean.

The room itself was clean, but the tatami mats seemed to loose it's fibers, which were constantly spread across the room. The mattress was quite thin, so sleeping on the floor was a bit firm.

Wonderful stay at Tokashiki island. My third visit actually. One minute from breathtaking Aharen beach. Staff is extremely lovely, welcoming, caring and professional. Rooms very simple 4.5 tatami rooms. Very maritime activity orientated. Breakfast and dinner was lovely too! I definitely come back again.

Loved the room, was very spacious and comfortable, and very close to the beach! They also offer scuba diving, but just be aware that none of their instructors speak English (or very very limited English anyway). Free breakfast is included, and they had a wide range of good food - veggie options too! Water pressure was very good too.
