The staff were very friendly and helpful. They provided a variety of toiletries and free water to refill. Everywhere in the hotel was clean. They had a coin laundry. The room has a working TV and the WiFi worked perfectly. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot and powerful. When we were checking out the staff offered us more free sweets which was very kind of them. The location was great, it's near the bus and train station, so it's easy to visit places, lots of shops and restaurants.

This was a cute and welcoming hotel. The staff did not speak English, but were so patient and kind with trying to communicate with my attempts with Japanese. The rooms were clean and reasonably sized, at least for one person, and had a minifridge, kettle, cups, and ample desk space. The bathroom was small but clean and functional. The location was surprisingly good - it was right across from Shin-Shizuoka station, which had a full department store and bus depot. It's also walkable from Shizuoka station, although the traffic crossings were a bit annoying. There was a table of complementary cosmetic items etc.. One of the staff very patiently helped me make a call from reception when my room phone wouldn't work.

The hotel lacked Japanese charm / character, but of course, not everyone is looking for that.

The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable! The amenities were fantastic with great quality. The room was furnished with a big screen LED TV, very good for watching movies. The bathroom were fabulous and exceeded my expectation. Wi-Fi strength and speed was great. Hotel location is right in front of Shin-Shizuoka station and really near to the Aoba symbol shopping district. (<5 minutes walk)

There was no breakfast service, so you have to buy breakfast yourselves. Other than that, I got no complaints at all.

Location was very easy to access from the train station, and close to all the shops and restaurants. As Shizuoka is a very walkable city, we found that it was easy to reach everything from this hotel. Room was also clean and spacious, had everything we needed.

Hallway had a bit of a cigarette smell... Thankfully our room itself didn't smell of smoke, but can't speak for other rooms.

They have many good points such as varieties of amenities, friendly staff, an ideal location for first-time travelers in this town, good shopping area.

I don't want to mention exactly the bad points are due to the security reason for the next guests, it is necessary for the basic renovation for building, facilities elevator, escalator, especially for the bathroom which has daily cleanness by cleaning person, but the smell bad from sewer pipes, not clean desk chair, dust can be seen between furniture to carpets. I stayed totally 4 nights, and for this reason, I saw several points.

Room is clean and big enough for solo traveler. Hotel lobby is at 2nd floor but it was fine for me as I do not have any big luggage. It is also very close to Shinkansen station. For those that don't like walking under hot weather, this hotel can be a bit far from the JR. But that is not a negative point as there are also bus stops nearby.

The only downside was the location relative to the train station entrance. Even though on Google Maps it seems to be right next to the station, one has to walk all the way around the station to get to the entrance-approximately one kilometer.

10-minute walk from Shizuoka station but very close to the new Shizuoka station. It tastes only 1 minute to the bus stop to Shizuoka airport limousine. Syaff at the reception did not speak English but kind enough to communicate. Value for money!!!

I needed to buy a plug adapter to be able to charge my PC with a French socket. The staff indicated me where to get one; I lost my wallet while in Shizuoka. I thought it was in a bus. The staff in the hotel helped me find it, by calling for me the bus terminal and tell me where to go.

Great small clean and neat room. Well thought details, like pijamas and power points. Close to the station and shops. Very helpful staff at the reception. The bathroom space can be too confined for large people.

Would be great to add spoons to the cutlery.
