A typical Dormy Inn. For British people, a bit like a Premier Inn feel to it. Very efficient at what it does and offers nice little extras that make you feel pampered. This hotel had a nice section highlighting various shops and sites around Takamatsu with a stamp collecting booklet and cards that was a nice way to introduce tourists to the city. Nice onsen with a Finnish sauna. Good sized traditional room.

The pillows are not comfortable. Like sleeping on a sand bag, so not great if you like a soft pillow like me. Maybe they could offer alternatives?

-pillows are a bit on the flat side - can sometimes hear people next door (but this is only if they are speaking loudly. Regular conversation can’t be heard) -if you have big suitcase there isn’t enough space to open up your suitcase.

The hotel was really central, the staff were lovely, everything was clean and new and the onsen was great. Bonus: you get a free ice cream after your onsen! Would definitely stay here again.

There is an automatic light in the entrance area that we couldn’t turn off, which was annoying when going to the toilet in the middle of the night - but that’s not really so serious.

Fantastic little hotel. Rooftop onsen, bathroom setup inside the room, free extras (soba/ ice pops/ yakult/ free snack inside room) during our stay, cleanliness were all superb. Highly recommended. Also very easy to get to using the airport bus.

Different bedding/ pillow options would be nice, but this didn't affect the overall enjoyment of our stay whatsoever.

We stayed at the Dormy Inn in Kurashiki a few days ago and found that to be very good also. The breakfast buffet is super! Fresh cooked, with a large selection of items, especially fresh fruit which is not common in our experience. The onsen is so relaxing and clean. This is a very nice hotel at this price point. Thank you.

The location was very central, from eating places to places of interest. The rooms were relatively spacious, and were clean and pleasant. The onsen, both indoor and outdoor, was great. The staff were friendly and professional. The beds were comfortable for a good night rest. We would recommend this place to anyone visiting Takamatsu.

Everything great you would expect from the Dormy Inn franchise.

Significantly pricier than other Dormy Inns in Shikoku, especially the parking cost. The parking is also very limited so you might need to park at an unaffiliated (and non-subsidised) parking lot, which happened to me.

The location was great, right in town. Staff was super friendly and helpful, and spoke english too! The buffet breakfast was great too. Public hot spring bath was great and after they have free frozen treats and ramen! They supply you with slippers and "pajamas" for walking around the property too!

The hotel provide UDON, and also some western style dishes. The location is very nice, near to the bus station.

The soundproof is not that good. You can hear noises if someone is talking in the hallway. And the pillow is a bit soft.

we requested for the room not to be cleaned every day and just had clean towels provided which was good. being able to open the window to get some fresh air is a plus.

getting the laundry key from the lobby and going upstairs to do the laundry was a hassle especially when the washing machine was already taken.
