staff was kind, patient and really helpful with my very minimal ability to speak Japanese. they spoke very minimal English yet, they were much more helpful than many hotel staff I have encountered. there was a great onsen on the property and breakfast as included.

room was really small, and made use of every inch of space, I’m ok with that but bothered by the adequate space where a fold out luggage rack would have been perfect but there wasn’t one. left me with choice of floor or…floor. shower had a place to put shower head at shoulder level but it wouldn’t stay there. there was a Really high step into and out of the tiny but all inclusive bathroom. onsen was wonderful but I was annoyed by the unequal amount of time for women vs that allowed men. a little more equity would be appreciated in the night time hours.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the staff were exceptional, so welcoming and accommodating. The facilities were of an exceptionally high standard, with the public bath being a particular standout. The breakfast offered an eclectic selection of foods, offering something for everyone! A little walk from Takamatsu station, but good transport links to the airport

I was treated very nicely by the staff and they even have small gifts like facemasks and locations for female travelers. Traditional Japanese beakfast was good to fuel up in the morning. Overall, I had a superb stay.

The standard room pillows are hard. There are pillows that could be borrowed from downstairs, but on the first night I was staying all the soft ones were gone.

Nice hotel, nice onsen. The staff were kind too.

The pillow situation confuses me, a very hard pillow is provided but we have to collect our own pillow from downstairs. I honestly think just providing good pillows from the start will make everyone happy.

Great location close to many restaurants and only 15min walk to Ritsurin Gardens. Staff were welcoming and very helpful. Good onsen and choice of 5 complimentary skin products per day was great. Able to choose you own pillow from a selection at reception

Bed was a bit hard

Breakfast was cute they had some marugame udon and the usual. Onsen was nice, staff was curteous, it was a completely smoke free building so even the elevator smelled clean

Times for onsen, would be nice if the time for women is later

Nice and friendly staff, very clean hotel. The breakfasts are plentiful and varied. Comfortable beds.

The rooms are a bit small, no shelf for things in the room. The window in the room could not be opened.

Close to Kawaramachi Station (4 min walk). Great cost performance, with all basic needs met. ONSEN ON-SITE, which is small yet clean! Breakfast included in rate, and food is different every day. Clean. Women can grab free bath bombs, lotion, loofa, and other health products.

Room is a bit small, even compared to other value hotels. Parking is not included.

Location was great and it was really easy to find. The size of the room was little too tight but we are 3 with lots of luggage. It was very clean tight. Good experience.
