The Onsen was really great (2 hot pools 1 cool pool, 2 Saunas, outdoor area, several possibilities to sit and 3 times a daz (6, 7, 8 pm) they even had a infusion (Aufguss) in the 1 sauna with a real kind an nice infusion master) The personell was really kind and the one woman could speak english quite good (which in Japan is rare) The always kept your keys when you went out so you don't have to be scared of loosing the.

The capsules were a bit old. The AC in the capsules was very weak. The capsules were just 1.9m long

Real vintage capsule hotel right in center of Takamatsu. The onsen is really nice, the whole place is very efficient. The capsule have a great 80’s feeling.

The snoring from fellow customers but that’s part of the experience I guess…

If you have tatoo, you can't access to bathroom, so no shower possible. But it's not written anywhere on booking or hostel 's website. So becareful. Especially if you book several nights. And maybe tatoo people are not allowed in hotel. It's a bit confusing to see stickers on elevator about tatoo people. See pix. Toilet are really smelly. They clean it, but smell come from tube.

The staff were friendly and helpful and the location was convenient. check in seemed to be available 24 hours which was great.

the beds were really hard, and the capsule was very hot and stuffy. There was a tiny little outlet for airflow that blew very weakly. The whole place was quite crowded which made it difficult to relax. The onsen itself was also pretty small, with only three small baths. the only space to leave bags was on a different floor to the capsules.

24 hour onsen. Relaxation area is comfy and has a large manga selection. Bean bags are good addition. Bar is open reasonably late and has cheap beer.

Booking.com info is inaccurate. Pictures of hotel are from a long time ago. Generally very dilapidated. Staff very unwelcoming. Did not want speak to me in Japanese or English. Pod facilities are yellowed, cracked plastic. None of the equipment in there works (TV or AM radio...). Pod ventilation randomly turns off, with no control for the person staying in the pod, so pods are very hot and stuffy. Blinds at end of pod were broken. Main room light was permanently on, a lot of which came into the pod, too bright to sleep. Continuous gushing water sound immediately above the pod. Loud talking and laughing from other guests, multiple times in the night but especially loud around 4:30am. Everything is nicotine stained and smells of smoke. The onsen and changing facilities were dirty. Limescale and mould around all fittings. Mirrors covered in dirt. Stools for showers covered in dirt. There is no mention on Booking.com of the strict no tattoo rule (though I expect this to be in place, so I messaged the hotel 3 times on Booking.com about this, no response). Booking.com states free parking, this is wrong, there is no parking. Sandals in the toilets appear to have never been cleaned. Staff appeared to not expect me there, and a lot of other guests made racist comments about me (UK native) and were unhappy about me being in the onsen.

The tube was all right

No place to sit, no private showers, no toilet on the sleeping floor, no spoken English. Paid 3500 for the parking.
