This hotel is great value for money. Room is small, but if you spend most of your time out doing stuff, it is perfectly adequate for the evening/night. Rooms are immaculately clean; staff very accommodating and friendly; despite language barrier, very helpful. Hotel provides a number of things that frankly, other hotels, especially in North America, should consider offering: in the lobby one can borrow stuff like cables, umbrellas, work lamps, even curling irons. Staff went out of their way to lend us an HDMI cable. WIFI is fast and reliable. Room amenities are minimal but there are lots of stuff on offer in the lobby including shaving cream/razors, bath salts, even sheet masks and hair ties. Room tip: if you're someone who likes easy access to the ice machine, ask for a room on the 4th floor; vending machines and microwave also on that floor. Hotel location is directly on top of Toyocho station; Daiso is across the street. Cake at the nearby Cozy Corner are delicious, as is the tonkatsu place a few doors down.

The bed in room 218 is at or near the end of its lifespan; for two people especially it's not able to provide adequate support. Not sure if this is the case in other rooms. I would also suggest hotel provides two additional pillows (one per person is probably not enough given that the bed is really the only place to hang out when in the room. Additional hooks/hanging options in the room would maximize use of space. Late checkout is 1000 yen per hour.

Clean room, comfy bed (fairly big for 1 person), and has a bathtub. Also love the free amenities they provide (i.e. free coffee/tea and bath powder and more). Outside of the room conditions, it's about a 1 min walk from Toyocho Metro station (very easy to travel around), has 1 big convenience store opposite the hotel, and a Macdonald chain about 3-5 min walk away.

Room slightly small, partly because the sofa felt redundant since I'm just lying on the bed whenever I'm in the room. Bathtub is also a bit short for me (my height is 183cm).

Very convenient on the Tozai line for the subway. The "Central/Gate 5" exit brings you up right at the hotel. The room size seemed nice and I did appreciate having a moveable table for sorting/setting up my laptop.

It's not the hotels fault necessarily but there are two different foot paths. One leads through two buildings and one leads to the hotel. It is only the first time that it tripped me up and most likely I just did not pay attention initially.

The room was fairly spacious given we were able to find space to open three large suitcases. It was very clean and mostly comfortable. We arrived prior to check-in time and they were not only able to store our bags but they also took them up to our room once it was ready for us. There's also a breakfast café on the ground floor which is very cheap and very nice so it's quite convenient if you need to grab something quick to eat. We didn't use it, but they also provide a luggage delivery service to the airport so long as you book it the day before. The location is literally about 30 seconds walk from a train station and also right nearby multiple convenience stores and a McDonalds, so you don't have to go too far for essentials. Would definitely consider coming back here again next time we're in japan.

The third bed provided was actually a fold-out couch which even compared to other fold-out couches wasn't very comfortable, and also not long enough for my 6ft partner. The room itself smelt fine but the outer corridors had a strange odor (maybe the smell of cigarettes?). Also there's only two washing and drying machines for the entire hotel and they take quite a long time so you'll have to make sure you don't put a load on too late as you may need to extend the cycle.

The hotel's location is very good - not in the central part of Tokyo itself, but there is a station right infront of the hotel that takes you almost everywhere and there are lots of dining options and facilities close. The hotel's staff was very helpful. The hotel offers a lot of amenities. The rooms had a good size and were clean.

Breakfast was a bit too simple, maybe it can use a few more elements. Keep in mind that the hotel is not in the central part of Tokyo itself, so it is not walking distance to famous sites, but Tokyo is a giant city and the location of the hotel offers good transportation to a lot of places.

The location was perfect for me. A couple of steps away from the Toyocho Station, right in front of two bus stops, in a neighborhood that was away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas but still within good reach of the metro and buses. If you're coming from the airport, it's easy to get from the station straight to the hotel. Multiple konbinis and restaurants within walking distance. ATMs, even a Post Office, just beside the hotel. The rooms were compact, but everything I needed was there, and is very comfy. Feels homey, rather than a hotel. Well-organized and safe. I left my luggage after checkout and was given a token for when I came back for the luggage in the afternoon. I loved the free for all amenity rack. I loved their skincare products that I used them everyday instead of the skincare I brought with me. Staff would always greet you, even if I just dropped by to get a sachet of sunscreen before leaving for the day. I've been to more than 20 countries and stayed at multiple accommodations, and this one is definitely in my top three. I'd love to stay in one of the Sotetsu branches again when I come back to Japan. Little perk that I found out: if you're going to TeamLabs, there's a bus that will drop you directly in front of the museum, and the same bus drops you back to the bus stop in front of the hotel. It's a commuter bus, not even a tourist bus. Convenient!

Nothing at all

There was a couch in the room and two waste bin (one for bottles an cans and another one for other of waste). At breakfast free refill for drinks was available. You get a receipt when you order your meal and when you show this receipt, you get more drinks.

The sign at the washing machines said that the machines will add washing detergent on their own and no additional detergent should be added. However the laundry didn't really smell as if detergent gas been added.

Location of the hotel was great, so close with a subway. There were also so many restaurants to choose from around the place. The room was clean, the hot water was great and easy to manage. Was able to use the bath tub with ease, the water took a long time to run out, and I really enjoyed the bath

none. I definitely will come back to Sotetsu whenever possible.

Location was very good as it’s very near to the train station making it so accessible to go anywhere. Nearby there’s a lot of nice food restaurants and also family mart, 7 eleven and Lawson. You can request another pillow if you think one pillow is not enough :) overall it was a very good experience!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Being Japan you should not expect anything less. Location was near convenience stores, coffee shops and restaurants. The subway is also very close.

Larger room. But if you're touring you would not be there most of the time. So the rooms were good, clean and comfortable. Could of had a bit more closet space.
