Everything a budget hotel could offer and beyond. Clean room with a decent view, towels and toiletries offered everyday, friendly english-speaking staff offering luggage storage services. Free care packages daily, fantastic free onsen, free drinks in the lobby, comprehensive vending machines, common room for eating, and located from the station with several konbinis along the way. One of our best stays in Japan and we’re so glad to stayed for ten nights
Room space is limited but honestly workable, we found spots to open our three luggages and space to keep shopping hauls. As long as one guest is smaller sized the bunk bed is totally feasible. Small bathroom is easily worked around by going to the onsen. The location is a moderate walk from the station and there are some seedy places that make it less suited for families, but its totally walkable and the love motels dont usually bother foreigners.

Comfortable bed with firm mattress and pad. Quiet air-conditioner. Reachable bedside light switches for the room and overhead. Keyless but code-activated door entry. No need to check out at the front desk, just pack up and leave. Lots of varieties at buffet breakfast. The open view from my room on the 9th floor. The handy rack for large baggage. The public Onsen. Complimentary beverages and alcohol in the lobby.
Need to step up into the washroom. Prefer having ceramic cups to paper cups for tea/coffee at breakfast. And no slices of bread (for making toasts) are offered, only mini croissants and buns. Breakfast time could be extended to a little longer, maybe 09:30.

The staff were very helpful. It was my first onsen experience in Japan, so I didn't know what to expect. I asked the staff at the reception counter for advice, and they very gladly gave me an introduction to onsen etiquette. The staff I asked was actually male and wasn't familiar with the female bathhouse, but he made sure to check with his colleagues before giving me the information, which was very kind of him. The onsen was quiet when I got in, not many people were using it. There's only 1 pool available, but it's more than enough for a good soak after a long day. I would recommend bringing your own makeup cleanser as the one provided may not be powerful enough for a deep cleanse if you wear thick makeup. The hotel provides a choice of amenities at the reception desk, and even a drinks bar during nighttime! It was definitely one of the most welcoming hotels I've been to!
It was a little far away from the station (about an 11-min walk from the main station exit). That's fine if you're carrying light baggage, but if you're carrying a huge suitcase, it can be a little hard to lug everything to the hotel by yourself. The roads toward the hotel are relatively smooth though, so it's not as bad as it could have been if the roads were bumpy.

Loved that it was a very clean and easy to get to the property. Staff were very lovely. We loved using the onsen. We also loved that you could choose your own pillow. They also had a bar in the lobby, so you could make free drinks. My partner loved that. We will be staying here again.
Just be aware the exit from the station to the hotel doesn’t have a lift or escalator. So that might be a challenge if you’re traveling with lots of luggage. Not close to the hotel but as you’re walking to the hotel there are some adult bars. No that anything bad happened or would happen. But I just think maybe this is a good spot for adults to stay and maybe not families. As the girls advertising the bars are there from 5:30 am until late. So you can’t really avoid them. All in all, I would still stay at this hotel next time we are in Japan as the “potential problems” didn’t affect us.

They provide daily cleaning and offer pj's at the lobby alongside many freebies such as toothbrushes and toothpaste, foldable combs, hair ties, haircaps, etc. There's free soup of choice and even alcohol at specific times, and the free weighing scale came in super handy at the end of our trip. One can pick a pillow of their choice in terms of how stiff or soft they prefer. Staff provided us with umbrellas to borrow during rainy days so we didn't need to buy one. There was a water dispenser and microwave on what i believe was every floor. They also allowed us to safely store our luggage for a few days while we explored different regions in Japan as we made a reservation at the hotel again later on. Family Mart is legit right around the block if ever one needed a quick bite. There was no communication issues with the staff and they were even able to help my party with checking in (again after a few days) when we were running late (past 12am when front desk is closed) from returning from another area in Japan by giving us the info we needed via email and having our stored luggage ready for us in our room!

Our family and I liked how much privacy this hotel provided. There was almost little to none human interactions except when you’re checking in and wanting to use the drink bar area. The hotel provided you with everything you think you would need, laundry area, nice little cozy lobby and resting area on the 2nd, smoking room inside. Most of all we like how easy access it was. It’s only 6-7 mins from Ikebukuro station North exit. You could just walk straight and find the hotel no prob if you exit through the North gate.
The rooms where slightly too small. There was no room to walk unless one person was laying on the bed. Would recommend booking separate rooms if you’re in a group.

The hotel had lovely facilities and the staff were very helpful throughout our stay. Their friendly communication and willingness to help should be commended!
The walls were very thin. At times I was woken up throughout the night due to neighbouring rooms flushing the toilet or the rooms on the floor above drinking or talking loudly. Easily fixed by bringing some ear plugs :)

The English speaking hostess was a delight. She not only helped us check in, but also with meal spots and must see attractions! Happy hour whiskey bar.
Room was like living in a RV on the back of a pick up. Very cramped, with little room for two people to pass each other. No room to unpack. No wash cloths. Weird A/C remote controls. You could get Cool and fan to stay on! Lobby air vents were dirty. But the worst thing was the pillows! They was no cushion or foam in them, they were filled with beanbag beads!

The location was close to Ikebukuro station, a short walk from the nearest exit, though no escalator at that exit. A lot of convenience stores nearby, but close to many love hotels and shady establishments as well. The hotel room was nice, but a bit small which is typical of that in Tokyo. The public bath was nice and cosy as well. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
Room was small, and difficult to navigate especially when you have to open your luggage. The lobby is sometimes crowded, and the breakfast area can be used as a Longue in the evening, but I think that was not conveyed to the customers, therefore, many chose to linger at the lobby. The indoor wear provided, though its free size, is too small for larger gentlemen.

The location is great. Right in the heart of Ikebukuro which is lively every night. Only a 3 minute walk from Ikebukuro Station which has the Yamanote Line to take you all over Tokyo. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean. Only suggestion is maybe a paper put up somewhere to explain how to use the AC installed in the rooms. I found the shampoo choice for the rooms not so good and had to buy my own, but not the worst thing in the world. The bed frame on wall also had a charger outlet so you could charge your phone from the comfort of your bed while using it.
