I had booked a room with the request for a rollaway bed as we are a family of 5. When we arrived we were told that an extra bed could not be placed in the room as a fire risk. I did explain to Ms. Miriam that i did put the amount of people staying in the room. After a bit of shifting on her end, she was able to move us to a room that can accommodate a rollaway. * Room was big enough for my family. * Room was clean * kids loved the pool * loved the free hot drinks in the lobby / kids liked the popcorn * Breakfast was good, enough to get us going and start the day. It was our first time staying at a Hampton Inn and we are very pleased with our stay. Especially loved the personal text message from the Front Desk - Specifically from Miriam - who after 10/15mins checking into the room texted if everything was ok. Have never received anything like that staying at a higher star/rating hotel.

Room was comfortable & breakfast was good. Staff very friendly & helpful.

Pillow cases & sheet were dirty. Informed front desk they had someone come and change them out. We also were told the fire pit would be on until 11pm. We went to enjoy the area before 11pm and the fire pit wasn’t on. Very disappointed that we couldn’t enjoy that area with the fire pit on. The music in that area was so low you could barely hear it.

Our room was very nice, clean and well equipped. Staff members were very polite and helpful. Each morning, breakfast was great with a variety of choices. Overall, we had a pleasant experience at the Hampton Inn Lehighton - Jim Thorpe.

Our only dislike were the overly thin, soft pillows. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows could have been firmer (thicker). There was very little head support, even with two pillows stacked.

Everything was very clean, the amenities like the fire pit, market, and free breakfast were excellent

There wasn’t a lot of parking and the room was very small for the price and that it was supposed to accommodate 4 people, thankfully my other 2 guests cancelled last minute so it was just my husband and I. We definitely wouldn’t have been able to fit another two people comfortably

Nice breakfast, nice staff, and having the coffee and cookies during the day were just something special.

Not sure if I missed it, but it would be good to mention that there's a non-heated pool and a whirlpool (that is heated). Also, add a microwave in the breakfast area so we don't have to ask the front desk.

All the employees were great, the breakfast was pretty good, the room was also not bad and I liked the snack selection at the front desk.

The room needs some desperate attention. Cracked bathroom tiles on the floors, missing tiles along the walls, the bottom of the bathroom door looks like it was chewed on and the room itself needs a good clean of the walls and ceiling.

The hotel was a wonderful choice, as we were going to a show at nearby Penn's Peak and it was so close. The hotel staff was friendly, and I loved the fact that coffee and treats were available upon check in. There were also may choices for dining and drinks super close. I liked the view from the room and all of the available plugs, outlets, lighting sources in the room. We stayed in the king study and the room was clean and spacious. I would definitely stay there again.

The parking area was on somewhat of a hill, but it wasn't terrible.

The walls were paper thin, so much so, that I could clearly hear the conversation of my neighbors, not to mention their yapping dog. The bed was hard as a rock and the pillows were so squishy they made a clear indent right through to the bed-terrible night of sleep.

The staff was friendly and helpful. They were always working hard. We also liked the early check-in, very accommodating. Loved the hot coffee, including decaf, all day/night! Hot apple cider was also very yummy and a nice touch. Fitness room was clean and well equipped.

Breakfast, while lots of options, was mediocre because the hot foods, eggs, potatoes, and sausage were cold.

The front desk were very nice and accommodating. It was a special anniversary trip we were on, and they did one of those cruise ship swan decorations with the towels, silk rose pedals and a bottle of "champagne" (Welch's Sparkling Grape Juice) ;-) Very thoughtful. The indoor pool and hot tub were clean, and the hot tub was nice and hot. Plenty of towels and chaise lounges if you wanted. Very nice experience, at the last stop of our two week excursion.

The location wasn't the best. Tough to get in, if you had to cross the highway. But, I was told that they are petitioning for a traffic light. That will make it about perfect.
