The check-in was seamless. The concierge (desk clerk) was very personable, affable, and informative. She was quick to share a list of local eateries with phone numbers and addresses when asked. Our room was very comfortable. The beds were very cozy, and there was even a chaise lounge chair, which was unique. The AC unit worked very well, and we were able to get a quality night's sleep. The breakfast area was AWESOME! I was fascinated with the pancake machine because it made perfect pancakes, and they were absolutely delicious! All of the items on the hot bar were at the perfect temperature and prepared very well. The entire area was impeccably neat and clean. The staff was quick to refurbish items when they were low. The coffee was the first, and no one had to wait because the staff member timed it perfectly. The breakfast dining area was very clean and modern as well.

The only real complaint we have is that we could not get the keurig machine to work in our room. It was probably an operator error. We were going down for breakfast anyway, so it was a non-issue.

The facilities were very good, modern, and clean. The lightning in the room is fantastic. The breakfast is very good. The location is close to many interesting areas and shopping centers. The staff was very friendly. You feel safe in the premises. I paid good money to stay in a good hotel and definitely not disappointed. Will stay again when returning to Allentown this year.

The distribution of the room was not our favorite as the sink is outside of the bathroom. There is only one elevator for the whole building and it is small. They were short staffed during our stay and the room service was not very efficient.

Exceptional staff that kept themselves busy making sure the facilities were clean, and service was top notch. Someone was sweeping, cleaning windows and tables continually. Much better than Hilton where I am a member. Hilton doesn't even want to clean your room anymore. I tried HOLIDAY INN to see the difference and there is a huge difference in customer treatment for the better at Holiday Inn!

A bit warm in the dining area but a heat wave was coming through the week after Christmas when we stayed. I had to ask front desk gentleman to turn on AC which he quickly accomplished. The morning sun shines into the eating area and when there's lots of people present, then it quickly became too hot.

We didn't partake as it was Passover. We brought our own food and ate in the lobby area.

There did not seem to be adequate supervision in the pool area and some of the "regulars" (as we understand from the front desk staff) were wild and verging on dangerous around our children- yelling, language choices, splashing, jumping in recklessly/without looking to see if there was anyone in the way, pushing and pulling others in their group. When we confronted them, their behavior was almost worse.

Great location, long pool hours (9-9), hot & cold breakfast served daily, staff was very friendly, and the shower was stocked with essentials more than just the mini bottles. There were no hidden fees or taxes, or paid parking like we’ve experienced through other chain hotels in our years of traveling.

We have a family member with celiac disease who can’t consume or digest gluten. There weren’t any gluten free options aside from yogurt or meat, which weren’t as filling.

The room was very clean and the bed linen was clean and comfortable. We also had a positive surprise with the breakfast which was a simple but with a good quality and reasonable variety with some fresh products.

We had 4 people in our room and we had only 2 bath towels. Even after calling the reception (it was after 9pm) they said towels were not available and wouldn't be until 9am next morning. We had to leave before 9am so 4 people had to use the same towel a few times in less than 12 hours... far from ideal!

I came into town to see my daughter perform Holiday Inn with the Pennsylvania Playhouse. Great sold out show! It's fitting that I was staying at this Holiday Inn! It is very welcoming and clean. The staff is attentive and responsive to the guest's needs. They go over and above to exceed your expectations. This is the second time I've stayed here and it won’t be the last.

It would be perfect if an airport shuttle were offered. The hotel is only 9 easy minutes from LVA/ABE.

Staff at checkin was very friendly, room was very clean, breakfast hot and checkout went smooth. Will Def stay here again.

Awesome front desk associate. I came in tired from traveling and she was so nice and very quick to get us to our room.

We were surprised about the complimentary hot breakfast. It was very good!!
