The hotel has a great vibe. My room was nice and the rooftop pool is awesome. Customer service was on point as well. I think his name was luis/luiz. Great location and just a minute walk to the beach. Yes, it can be noisy and a little difficult to get a nap in with the door open if you have a balcony but who really comes to south beach to nap. Without hesitation I would stay again.

Location was great!! The price was good as well. I booked the room at the very last second decision to stay the night after a day trip from a couple hours away. It was our first time staying in the hotel and I’m sure it will not be our last.

I will say the one complaint would be, the hotel is on the smaller side. The room was extremely small. It was only my daughter and my self staying. We only needed to stay the one night. Luckily, we do not need much space. So, it was fine for us. However, I think it would have been nice to have a bit more room to move around in.

Every staff member that we encountered was very friendly and polite. Watching the sunset over the city from the rooftop pool was nice. You are only a 4 min walk to the beach. Within a 20 minute walk there is a good selection of restaurants, shopping, bars, and places to dance. The onstie bar and resturant is nice as well. One block away is a CVS Pharmacy where you can get snacks, beverages, and beach supplies which was convenient. This is our second year in a row staying here in late February. If we go back to South Beach next year we will be staying here again.

The area around the pool needs more lounge chairs. It can fill up quickly so go early. Same issue as last year.

We loved location, staff was very friendly & helpful. The pool was nice also great upper seating/lounge area near the pool was awesome. It was great having the option to dine at the onsite restaurant or hang out at the onsite bar.

Absolutely ridiculous how you have to get your luggage to your room...and then again when you ck out and are leaving. Rolling a full luggage rack through the restaurant (which is in a very nice outdoor garden area)while people are dining etc. On this tiny little brick path, trying not to hit the chairs/tables, just so weird & awkward. This could be an easy fix. Also rooms could be a bit BRIGHTER, everything was sooooo dark, and there wasn't much counter space or anywhere to really put your things.

The location was really good very close to the beach and all the bars. We were given a huge room with a walkway to the bathroom and then the bedroom. The bed was huge and really comfortable. The staff cleaned the room every day even mopping the floors. Staff were friendly.

The only slight downfall was the pool area was very small with not many sun beds and not much room if there were many people but luckily there wasn’t.

The location is perfect. One block to beach, close to restaurants, museum and shops. Front desk staff was very helpful. A shout out to Alex for helping me get sorted after a very early arrival.

The restaurant on site automatically adds 20% gratuity. Not uncommon for area but a burden for small parties or solo travelers. Rooms were spacious and clean but furniture and common areas starting to show wear.

The Fairwinds Hotel is a charming boutique hotel in the heart of South Beach. The location and proximity to Ocean Dr restaurants and clubs, as well as the beach, were perfect, especially at this price point. The staff at the hotel, and the connected Sola Restaurant, were wonderful. After a week's stay, we were sad to leave the facility, as well as the staff. We'll be back!

Due to it's location, and the structure, at night the hotel was very loud. On the weekends, sleeping before 2:00 am was tricky, particularly if you're a light sleeper. Providing white noise machines or designating back rooms as "quiet" rooms, would resolve this.

The hotel is in the middle of South Beach so the location is the best. The rooftop pool area is definitely a perk and there's another terrace to lay out. There is a little store on facility a bit pricey but very convenient to purchase snacks and alcohol. There's a great outdoor bar area with entertainment. Fun to sit out with friends having drinks at one of the tables

The price point I believe is over priced for the facility. The room is a tad small and I wish there was just a chair to sit in but I haven't a clue where it would fit so it kind of makes one sit on the nightstand to avoid getting the bed dirty.
