Hotel Metropolis

The size of the accommodation, location, real value for money deal. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone going to Kaunas!

I paid extra for beakfast to be included. There was barely any breakfast left an hour before the breakfast time ended. My choices were juice, mushrooms and some cereal. No bread, no eggs, no cuttlery or crockery left even! Really poor planning I'd say.

The location was great, and the breakfast had a good choice of dishes, and coffee was great. Confortable beds and bathroom. The old and vintage interior was a plus.

Hotel staff asked to fill forms with too much personal information, and there were no terms and rules associated with that data usage according to GDPR. Sound isolation in the rooms is not the best. I had no problems while sleeping, but our friends room was much noisier. Rooms and hotel itself need renovation.

the location was perfect, very central and easy access to all the sites and on the main airport bus route.

very central for main avenue and 15min to old town - just walking over pulsing heart of Kaunas, with all the sound of live and bustling town. Then about the hotel/room - good for overnight stays. Would be perfect and iconic for any film shoots bring back to the beginning of the 20th century before WW2.

some little details - everything you touch, everything you walk on, everything you sit/sleep on, everything you breath in - could have something more special to empower hotel feeling, rather just a memory of old iconic building used for overnight stays. It doesn't have to be luxury or expensive, rather just pleasantly rememberable. "The devil is in the details"

Room was small but cozy. Best thing is location. Excellent for any business with Vytautas Magnus University.

Breakfast buffet needs re-thinking. The egg souffle dish stuck to its pan and was awful. Bacon was served in massive clumps. This needs an overhaul.

Sucha places have a soul. Hotel Metropolis Has a ruch history, I like such places. Maybe it is not as modern as lately built hotels, but if you would like to stay in historic place, Metropolis is very good choice. Rooms are ok, clean and nice, Wi-Fi works well, breakfest is tasty, do I may recommend Metropolis as a good place to spend few days in Kaunas.

An atmospheric building with high ceilings. The room had a balcony that overlooked the promenade. The bathroom was renovated. The breakfast was decent, and the service was polite. Parking was available in the inner courtyard for 6 euros per day.

There were occasional power outages, and the lighting in the bathroom was quite dim. The water in the shower drained poorly.

Very nice vibe - the hotel was there for more than a hundred years and it's beautiful to feel the touch of history. The Interior is also old but lovely. Location is superior - you're a walking distance away from most sightseeing spots and a shopping mall.

Personnel could be more helpful. It feels like they either don't care about your stay or don't have experience in helping guests. They changed the time of breakfast without notifying us so we almost missed it. Many things like bread were missing during the breakfast and they didn't hurry to refill them. We couldn't sleep on the first night because the guy a few rooms from us was literally creaming until very late and nobody calmed him down.

The location is perfect,right in the heart of Central Kaunas in historic building.Spacious rooms with a nice view. Breakfast was very good with variety of cold meats,eggs,omelette,sausages and vegetables,porridge muesli etc. Coffee was very good as well.

Have missed an electric kettle in the room.

The hotel is good value for the price. The location is excellent. Also I liked the very high ceiling in the room. This is a historical hotel with some authentic interiors.

The breakfast left more to be desired. Low in choice. However, since the location is very central, you can get breakfast elsewhere.
