everything is superb and worth every penny. comes with family and everyone is comfortable with room space and bed.

The location is just amazing. Not too far, not too close. it was far enough where it was quiet (for a peaceful night’s sleep) but close enough where it was just 1 road down(walking distance) to two of the famous roads - Penang Road (food and shopping) and Chulia Street (Bars for a night cap). Would definitely book again when I visit Penang! A big plus was that the hotel provides FREE water dispensers so you don’t have to constantly buy bottles of water.

Not much to complain about really. Private bathrooms with a water heater and rain shower were a BIG BIG plus!

Clean room, in the old city centre where we can walk to nearby attractions in Georgetown and the hotel is more on the quiet side of city centre and less traffic.

Although we stayed in non-smoking rooms, we can smell the smoke as someone who stayed on the same floor was smoking and the smoke came through ventilation system. The staff didnt' seem to communicate well to each other. We requested for late check-out, one staff told us that we can have one-hour late check out but on the next morning, the other staff called and urged us to pack and check out immediately before 12.30.

Good value for money. The hotel is new.

The staff calls on a terribly loud phone in the morning to ask if cleaning is needed (and wakes you up if you're asleep). Once you unplug your phone, they'll come the next day to knock on your door, despite the "do not disturb" sign on the door handle. In fairness, it seemed to me that this was some kind of feature of hotels in Penang, because in another hotel we were woken up in the same way in the morning with a question about cleaning.

The bed was comfortable and room is very clean despite the room size is quit small but suitable for short stay

The wall is not sound proof. I am sorry for those who was staying on the same date as we checked in as my daughter was crying out loud and may have disturbed your sleep. It was unpredictable incident. Also, the iron board should have been replaced as there were a few burns marked and at least provide clothes rack in the ironing area, so we can at least hang our clothes

Very clean and staffs are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are beautiful and comes with universal power sockets with USB-A connectors and free wifi as well. Washroom clean and water very strong. Public hallway equipped with water dispenser and comes with free but very limited covered parking.

Sound proof of rooms might be a turn off for some guests, our stay was pretty cozy and quite for 2 weekday nights but the walls are thin so if every guest is considerate then it will be perfect stay for you else it will be otherwise.

The place was at a perfect location with just a walking distance to get foods. Traffic less busy at this area, quite a tranquil area I can say. Luckily, I managed to get a car park when returning to hotel everyday, eventhough with its limit parking bays, thank god. The room was clean, all looks new, from furniture to bed settings. Only lack of good sound proofing, as i can hear clearly people talking as they pass by our room, kids screaming and running on the aisle. But it's not a big deal for me, I still slept well at night. Good customer service from front desk staffs, surely will stay here again in another time!

All the staffs were very welcoming and friendly. When I first entered the room it smells so nice. The hotel as a whole (lobby and room) were extremely clean. My family and I always having trouble to sleep in the first night, but I can tell the bed and pillow are comfortable. The hotel provides their own parking but limited. A walk distance to some of the famous restaurants. The hotel don’t provide drinking water in the room as they have a refillable coway outside which is really good as I don’t have to keep asking for more. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back!

- very messy check-in process - arrived at 12.30 pm and reception informed me to check in at 3.30 pm while booking.com showed 3.00 pm. arrived at 4.00 pm and yet still room unready until around 4.30 pm. - no reception on duty at night. only security guard.

We checked in on Thursday and checked out on Saturday. We managed to park in the indoor car park (garage) for 2 nights. Yeah! Lots of great food options within 10min short walk. (Chinese, Malay, Indian food choices all available). Popular streets are also within 15min walking distance. They did housekeeping in the room although they put up a notice in the room saying they will not. Not very satisfied with this but when we found out they forgot to give us towels, the reception staff came very quickly after our call. Weekend morning, there are lots of cars parked outside as people go for food hunting. It is quiet during weekdays and nights.

We know the room is small. We are fine with that. But we are dissatisfied with how they place the furniture. We are small size Asian girls. The distance between the table / tv rack and the bed is too narrow and the first thing we enter the room is to get bruise ourselves from hitting the bed. Probably you should change your bed from the wooden square corner to a different material or shorten the bed a little to match your mattress size so it won't protrude. There's a bad smell outside the hotel, believe it's from the underground drain (longkang). Doesn't affect when we are in the rooms but at the reception still can smell a bit. Didn't last all day. Just the first night when we checked in the hotel.
