I love that the air cond in the room is relatively new and strong, and you can leave it on when you are out conditioning the room. The bed is relatively sturdy so you will have a good night sleep. There is a decent table, chair, clothes hanger, and even a tv nearby, together with good decent internet, ideal for someone that needs to work in the evenings. Aesthetics wise is a mix as it tries to match the 80s style Ipoh. Do suggest to get your own room with private bathroom for full privacy. Entrance to the location requires a key after certain hours. So quite safe. Water dispenser is provided.

If you have a lot of luggages or you have bad knee, then its not recommended as you will need to climb the high stairs just to reach your rooms. The walls are fairly thin, so its not super sound proof from the rain. No Ironing board and hair dryer available. Very little power outlets available, and at awkward places too. The room's lock is just like any typical house, with key.

The hotel is so clean, the staff, especially the cleaner lady and man like always clean the area and so helpful, hot water ok, most important water is free here so we dont need to buy outside. Room ok, bed is comfortable. It near food stall i like: nasi kandar, roti, and bean curd. And near bank ATM as well. Just be carefull do not walk in small path or lorong near hotel even google map recomend, i have been chased and almost getting bite by big dogs (around jalan dato tahwil azar). Just go through big road. I think the people in Ipoh are very nice, but we must be aware with the unguarded pets. Overall hotel policy to close the door after 11 pm is maybe true for our safety.

There is no dim/sleep lighting in the room, so we either choose to sleep in very dark or very bright light.

VALUE FOR MONEY - RM 85/night (Mon-Tue) BIG CLEAN BED - queen size with fluffy pillows that can fit 2-3 pax plus lots of space to lay out your luggages etc. COLD AIRCOND - awesome thing especially in Ipohs hot weather DOUBLE DOOR - Their room is unique whereby there are 2 entrances to your room. One door then you get the toilet, and another locked door to assess the sleeping part. Toilet is spacious and quite clean. GREAT LOCATION - 5 minutes walk to the famous food street with Louwong chicken rice & Tuck Kee. Awesome place if you want to load on souveneirs

STAIRS - they only have rooms starting the first floor so you MUST walk up hence not suitablenfor elderly / if you have many luggages. THIN WALLS - not soundproof The room has 2 doors to lock but there are also scratches on the door that show like somebody tried to break in. Also our room had a mini balcony which is essentially a terrace with the water tank. DIM LIGHTS - Room is very dim as well. But we can't open the door to the balcony since it doesn't look safe

1st walkup. Not for old people because the stairs are steep 2nd parking is limited and based on a 1st come 1st serve basis. If you park outside. Make sure to buy the parking coupon because the district council will start to make rounds at 8am. 3rd it is a shared shower and toilet. No shower and toilet in the room for all the rooms in level 3. 4th if you have lots of devices to charge, please bring extension wire 5th ironing only at the receptionist area (ground floor)

The windows were painted black I assume for privacy but made the environment claustrophobic. The sheets though clean was rather old and tattered.

Don't look at this hotel like old age building but their have guard facilities to take care our vehicles during night. Comfortable bedroom even we have 4 kids and 2 adults. Simple, easy and nice..

The room facing the back can be very noisy because of the noise from another restaurant staffs.

Staff were friendly, smooth check in and check out. Room was Clean. Aircond was very cold. Easy access to the nearby attraction. parking quite easy to get. easy to get food. situated infront of M.Salim restaurant, the famous nasi briyani Anarkali.

Quite noisy at night. no shampoo provided only soap.
