Worth every penny. Will definitely coming back.

It's a simple hotel with minimum to no facilities. I expected that. The room is the right size for me. The bed was comfortable. I like that the basin water has cold and hot water at the same time. Seems like a luxury these days. The room smelled like it had been smoked in, so I wanted to change rooms but they were booked. The hotel immediately wanted to ionise the room, which I couldn't be bothered by because I was tired. So I lived with it. It's a good location with ease to go everywhere (Grab) and there are plenty of restaurants and cafes within walking distance. I asked for a receipt, and they immediately emailed me. No hassle, unlike some 'hosts' that seem to operate illegally. You could read my other review if booking.com permits it. So please stay with a hotel rather than a homestay.

I got a back room which is near the bin area. It was noisy in the morning. Also, security could be improved as anyone can get into the building to access the lift and proceed to any floor. I believe they will improve since they promptly replied to me. I have stayed at places where the hosts don't care at all and booking.com actually enables them.

Very strategic place to stay in Ipoh. Not a 5star hotel, but the location if very near to Ipoh Parade..Just can walk nearby- for muslim, the eatery place nearby agak limited but if u round the area, there's a lot of place u can eat even inside the Ipoh parade. I will add this hotel as one of my favourite hotel when comes to Ipoh again in next vacation.

Just TV channel yang kami tak dapat access for full. Hanya 2 siaran shj (sport and Astroria) only.. tapi takpelah, just small cases sahaja.

The Jindagu offers spacious rooms with a good level of comfort. Our oom was very quiet. Sure, the furnishings are getting old, the location is a little outside Old Town (nothing that a little Grab can't fix), and the views are a little ordinary, but the value for money here is pleasingly high.

Everything was good except I failed to coax any hot water from the shower in the morning.

Convenient location, short distances to places of Interest and shopping. Comfortable stay, spacious room with a mini kitchen, good working air con & hot water for shower. Friendly & helpful staff. Parking lot available for those who drive. This is our 3rd visit.

Sometimes, the room smelled of cigarette smoke, although it is a non-smoking hotel.

The front desk staff was very kind. He make sure that I parked my car and went into hotel safely because the parking area is quite dark. The room was big and clean. There were old stains in many places but still acceptable. Bed was comfy and clean. Many restaurants or cafe nearby and walking distance to the famous eateries alley as well.

A bit dusty

Very good location. Can walk to different food spots. Octagon is not so far away. Ipoh Parade is also nearby. Warm bathroom. If you got caught by rain, cloth drains overnight. Big spacious room. Has freezer and ironing board. Friendly staff.

Bed was short for me (but I am a tall guy — 6.2).

The location is super convenient, the downstairs has Texas Chicken and Family Mart which are 24 hours, including a few restaurants. The staffs are friendly and helpful, he provided some useful information to their guests. The king bed is extremely comfortable for a good sleep.

The soundproofing is weak which lead to privacy concern.

Location was good & within walking distance to the old town centre. Staff were courteous & parking was good.

The mattress was sagging in the middle & perhaps a little more attention could have been paid to the dust in the corners of the bathroom countertop & too of shower door & also sides of lift doors. Tap on the sink in my room kept falling off & had to be reattached before use.

The Hotel is close to Ipoh Parade, the largest Mall in town. 10 minute walk. To old town Ipoh it is 30 minute walk. The room was large, everything right there. The bed was good, bathroom ok. Not noisy at night.

The Hotel did not serve breakfast, there were not many options before 10am. tv did not work - no problem for me.
