Wonderful place, it seems to be in the mid of colonial age. Staff is super-kind and helpful. Everything is clean and comfortable. Parking available. Location is convenient to visit Ipoh and cave temples.

We had a spacious two bedroom suite. The suite was very clean and the air conditioning worked well. There is very little contact with staff on the property, other than to check you in and out during appointed times. It is a very quiet place and we barely saw anyone during our stay. The house was decorated festively for the holidays and in general has a quirky feel to it.

The location of the hotel is somewhat awkward. It is on the other side of a major intersection which seems to be impassable by foot. We had to use Grab to get across the intersection and even by car, it is a circuitous route to get there. There is nowhere close by to walk to for dinner or breakfast and breakfast is not available at the Tudor. I if you stay here, be prepared to use Grab or taxi to get in and out of Ipoh. Fortunately, Grab is very cheap to get around.

Lobby is nicely designed feel like in Cameron Highland or europe. Room space is just nice. I booked room with loft, made you feel a little bit like you staying in a lodge. Balcony also nice you can get fresh air but space is just enough for two people standing. They provide lots of movies in the TV. They have a microwave but located at different room. Need to ask staff for the location. Wifi signal is good. Friendly and helpful staff. Parking inside gate is first come fist serve basis.

The bed, cabinet and stairs are less baby and kids friendly. The edges are sharp and stairs quite steepy. Balcony fence also got space at bottom, need to be careful with crawling baby. The night I stay was rain and after that, weird smell come from toilet and it stays until morning.

Very cosy boutique hotel, feels like home). Nice lobby and very helpful staff. Water cooler with drinking water available for guests at the lobby. We had evening tea in the lobby. Enclosed private parking (for 5 cars) with 24h security.

Additional armchair in the room would add comfort and relax, but there was only one chair for only one person)). It was not convenient for our family of two people. It was very hot on a second level where all rooms are located. Located in suburban area, so there is no any cafe inside or nearby the hotel)). Personnel at the checkin desk is available during working hours only 9-17.

Everything..the room..the hotel exactly like the photo provided and as explained in the property details. I read those comments with lowest rating, and I believe they didnt read the details given and lead them to disappointment when their expectation is toooooo high. There’s a bit of sound for the water piping..but its not an issue at all for us, since our purpose of staying is not just staying the room 24 hours. The hotel is superclean during my stay..the room the lobby, parking area etc..hope this review will help others to decide when booking a room here. Its value for money as well..worth what you paid, we stay at the 2 bedroom suites. I will definitely return.

The room and facilities were clean and beautifully decorated, staff was friendly and the room was comfortable with a selection of movies to watch. As there were only 2 other rooms occupied during our stay, the hotel was quiet and peaceful and had none of those children running around outside or noisy people as you'd have at other hotels. Sadly, we couldn't stay longer as we had to checkout prematurely to return home for an emergency, but the host and staff were understanding and agreed to refund our unstayed night. Will definitely choose to stay in Tudor for future Ipoh trips.

Location wise it was easy to miss the little Anderson street at first. There was no signage at the main road indicating where Tudor is, and the Anderson street sign was faded and stout. I'm not sure if the absence of a Tudor sign is intentional to keep the hotel at a low profile, otherwise a signpost would be great.

It is in a strategic location, yet away from the city noises. Very clean, orderly & well organised. The staff was super helpful & we did not encounter a single problem throughout our stay.

Since the common area is shared & close proximity to the rooms, specifically the lobby downstairs, any noise made by other guests will be heard & it bothers us.

Exclusive stay with lovely decor. We totally got Christmas feels while staying here. Rooms are big and comfortable with plenty of unpacking area. Area around the property is well managed. Loved listening to birds chirping and watching the greenery and hills around. Staff is very helpful.

Hand towels should be provided. Just two bath towels is not enough. Also, room cleaning can be improved. Our bathroom wasn’t very clean after touch up one day.

- absolutely wonderful staff. They helped us late at night even though I made a mistake for check in. They were also extremely friendly and very helpful. - the decorations and hotel theme are so cute. I thought perhaps the maximalist style would mean there was more dust but it is extremely well cleaned. - they take security very seriously here. I always felt very safe.

- it's not really a walkable distance from most places. But since we were grabbing everywhere anyway, it wasn't too much of an issue for us.
