Our first time staying at this quite-new hotel where the location is unbeatable (any location within 10 mins’ walk from CIQ is good)! Check-in and out was fast and the size for a superior room is good enough even for a family of 3 (don’t need to upgrade to deluxe). Room & toilet are clean & very spacious, only small complaint was the aircon was full-blast even though I had changed it to 29 degrees! We snuggled inside the thick blanket also can feel the coldness 😂 This applies to the rest of the hotel including the lobby. I opted for just 1 day of breakfast but was given 2 days 👍 breakfast selection is of a 5-stars’ hotel standard, spoiled for choices!

Only shortfall was that the waitress cleared all my plates and cup when I haven’t finished eating. No, there weren’t a lot of people queuing to have breakfast on a mid-week Wednesday 😅

Didn't sleep well because the pillow is too high, not comfortable. Please consider to change the pillow, this is important.

Breakfast spread I would say is the best you can find in any hotel in JB. I like the vibe and energy that the vibe gives, with the live music and piped in tunes. The latter is a little loud but I noticed that guests don't really mind it, probably because it kind of provided the jumpstart for the day. Another nice touch is the decor or installations that hotel would have in the lobby.

The faucet for the wash basin in the toilet really shouldn't be the spray type. It splashes onto your clothes and the volume of water is just small, or at least feels like it.

the room was good the lounge was welcoming; however, the coffee was a bit bland at the lounge, the evening buffet spread was wide but the food was not as tasty

the breakfast buffet has many choices; however: 1. the coffee (latte) was not hot enough (becoming almost room temp) 2. the tables at the far corner (nearer to the windows) looks old and dirty (seems to have been taken out of the store to cater to the crowd surge 3. the staff were very helpful and polite, well done. 4. the fried meehoon was a bit oily 5. the band was good (nice and soothing)

The room for 2 pax is super spacious for an affordable price of S$151 per night with king bed (which is exceptional standard is queen bed), balcony, sofa, marble writing desk with office chair. Super comfortable mattress & soft pillows. Cleanliness is superb and all brand new. Bathroom is huge with double large sink, bathtub & shower area. Buffet breakfast spread has a lot varieties from pastries, nonya kuih, nasi lemak etc, hot & cold beverages including juices which for additional S$8 per pax is value for money. Concierge staff is very friendly & never fail to greet us whenever we are back to hotel & bid us farewell when leaving the hotel with our luggage. Feel welcomed.

Breakfast buffet quality of taste for fried rice and fried noodle to improve. Noodle soup too salty not edible.

Nice room

When I first booked, I already mention that we wanted a connecting room to which they said it’s okay. During check in however, one of the rooms were not yet ready, and we told the receptionist we are fine to wait for that one room so that we can get the connecting rooms. But the receptionist INSISTED to give us a room that is not connected. And we thought it was okay. But to our dismay, the new room was full of mould!! And we ended up requesting to get another room which they gave us our original room that was not yet ready and yet I have to wait for 4 hours!! When I got in, the room was not cleaned properly (used toothpaste still on the sink). Other than that it was okay. Just the check in was a bit of a hustle.

Well, my stay for 1 night to celebrate the birthday of my partner really exceed my expectation. The staff who help us to do check-in is definitely delighted our day. I remember her name is WaWa and it's such a cute name. We are tired after we had our lunch with the bags with us and she is so great to let us have a early check-in and offered to upgrade our room! Come to the room, i would say overall it's clean and satisfied, just a small part of the carpet is a bit sticky that probably missed out by the housekeeping team but u know the cleanliness still hit 9/10 including the bathroom and also the bathtub. Our window facing komtar cc with heavy traffic but the sound proof is pretty good. Oh ya! their breakfast is the amazing part with so much of choices with the live band in tje morning. Such a memorable hotel breakfast buffet to us.

I think they can improve more on their pastry and cake. The mini cupcake that we had during the breakfast is very dense and hard. Waffle is dry and cold as well. Other foods are ok! Like the drinks they offered, so many to choose from tea, coffee, milk, fresh juice, soya milk, low fat milk

We came 2 hours earlier than the check in time so thought to just leave our luggage first with the hotel but we were advised to proceed to the reception counter in case we can check in earlier. True enough the receptionist was kind enough to arrange one room first for us. Our other room was also connected to the first room without us requesting for it which was very convenient travelling as a family. The check in process was a breeze. We also had requested for a late check out and our request was easily met. Our breakfast was accompanied with live-band and pleasing to the ears.

The short staycation. We should arrange for longer days next time!!

First of all, the staff at the hotel was warm and friendly in receiving us and answering our queries. They are knowledgeable and was patient in serving us. Secondly, the booking made via the app was seamless. Reliable and legit. They even provide us with our room request which is to have both adjacent rooms. Thirdly, the room was clean and emmaculate. I love the vibe of the hotel and how cozy it feels. Lastly, the location of the hotel is within walking distance to the malls. I will definitely recommend to my family, friends and colleagues.

I would have prefer for them to provide us with a prayer mat and telekung since it is in Malaysia. Maybe the hotel do provide and I would have to request for it. Other than this, I love everything about my stay with Amari.

Bed size and room size was spacious. Staff were very nice,polite and welcoming even at the entrance. The lounge at 20th floor was amazing though.

I wish the toilet was bigger and as for premium rooms, bath tub should be available. Food spread should be made in a wider range and not food that is available at a normal hawker shop and quality must be checked because i find that the fruits and yoghurt in the fridge had a weird sour taste as if it has been exposed for a long time. Maybe 2 days apart. I wish the staff knew where is the smoking corner because i was given wrong information and had to go hunting myself to find a space to smoke and ended smoking at the entrance on the first day.
