One of the cleanest hotels we have stayed in JB. Spacious self-service laundry room that comes with two washers and dryers and ironing facilities. Fully equipped gym. Huge lobby. Friendly counter staff and fuss free check in.

Location wise - it’s within 10 mins walk to Persada JB. But quite far to walk from City Square and CIQ. Hence, more convenient for those who drive. There are no eateries or convenience stores located nearby. Areas for improvement- 1) Info on parking access via Jalan Khalid Abdullah behind the hotel could have been communicated clearly to guests. Better still if there are signs along the road to guide patrons. 2) More breakfast options will be great.

Firstly, the service. I asked for a note on the bed and they delivered it, handwritten with the fancy towels as decoration- the staff replied super promptly and it was such a great experience with their hospitality! I also left my jacket at the hotel by mistake, and Wany and Amnan found it, kept it safe, and entertained my check-ins for a week until I came back to collect it. I'm so thankful to the both of them (and the staff who managed to find it and keep it safe!) The location- literally less than 10 min from the checkpoint, super close to all the shopping and taking cabs to and fro will be really affordable. The hotel is probably less than a year old and everything is still kept and maintained extremely well, feels and looks like a brand new hotel. Aircon colder than winter, amenities all provided, room was spacious and no cracks or damage in the toilet or bedroom. Amazing place! The breakfast buffet spread was damn shiok also, the food was so good and even though it's a holiday inn express, there's an omelet station and 5 or 6 different dishes. 100% will come back because of the amazing service by Wany and Amnan, thank you both for making this my favourite stay in JB so far.

We took a 2-bedroom suite. We LOVED it. The room is so nicely planned. It was my family of five (11,9,4) and my helper. So we fit ourselves. The rooms are so clean, esp the bathroom. No nasty brown moulds on the walls. The beds were comfortable. Super clean. Gym was so new and good. Staff were so warm and friendly.

The bathroom part was a bummer. Would be nice of there was a common toilet and another in one of the rooms. As it is Holiday Inn Express, the rooms are actually quite small and there was only 1 bathroom. Would have preferred king beds, Having said all of that, I still love the place!

This is a great hotel, we had a suite with a twin and a double room which were both very comfortable, with air conditioning, tv's and usb sockets. There was also a hall/lounge area which included tea and coffee making facilities, microwave and a TV. The bathroom area was big enough, with a separate shower and toilet. Breakfast was included and again no complaints, nice food and great, friendly staff. The reception area is very nice and again, the staff are very nice and very helpful. The only small downside is the location, it's a bit out of the way however 10-15 minutes walk and you are in the main heritage zone. The hotel also provided a shuttle bus to the border crossing to Singapore which was great.

There was nothing we didn't like.

- Very attentive staff. The night duty manager, Fadli, was especially friendly and made us feel welcome. - Separate cubicles for toilet and shower. Sink was also in a common area. Very practical for two-bedroom suite. - TV in every room. - In-house self service laundry facility (paid washer and dryer). - Luggage weighing scale in the lobby.

- Breakfast area cramped and felt chaotic. Expected to find own table in the chaos. - Access to parking is behind the building and no directions provided when you drive up to the front lobby. Had to disembark and ask reception.

The property is well maintained and location is fairly close to the central area of jb. Breakfast was also decent and staff were friendly except one was lacking in the smiles department. The non-smoking room also didn’t have any smoke odour compared to my room on a previous visit. The hotel also now provides shuttle service to some popular spots but I didn’t get a chance to try them.

The room was supposed to come with a garden view but it wasn’t much to write home about. The pillows and mattress are too soft for my personal liking. The frontage of the hotel could do with a bit of plants to make it look more inviting.

Very clean, modern but cosy, simple room layout. They provide Dove shower foam and shampoo in those big bottles hooked on the wall and not the typical cheap yellow/green liquid ones as you normally find in other hotels where they normally give just one small bottle each so kedekut. Can't say how I appreciate this aspect of my stay soooo much, imagine having a nice warm shower with a very refreshing soap/shampoo after a long and tiring travel from KL to JB. Yeay for the free parking too and right in the city centre so getting food is no problem. I like the modern design/layout of the lobby too, lots of chairs/benches provided.

I feel like the room is quite compact (mine was a standard queen room), not much space to move around but it wasn't much of a problem for me as I was travelling alone with just 1 cabin-size luggage. You need to go down to the laundry room at level 2 to do ironing which can be a hassle to some (imagine having to bring down your bawals for ironing then by the time you get back up all bawals already kedut again). This however also wasn't a problem for me as I didn't need to use it during my stay but just a heads up to other customers. The entrance to the parking is at the back of the building, not by the main entrance/lobby so you have to go around after checking in to park your car.

Premises looks great with clean, spacious and comfortable lobby. Room is spacious, good air-con, TV in living room and in each of the two bedrooms. Bed is firm but really comfortable; we had a really good sleep. Good water pressure for shower and appreciate the clean bathrooms.

Although location is not fair from City Square Mall, it took us more time than expected to book grab car to get to the hotel as well as head out to the malls, due to the congested traffic condition. Egg stations is good for breakfast, the remaining spread wasn't that good.

Staff was super friendly. Was feeling tired that night and the staff helped us to get the room ASAP. The room with paid price was nice and comfortable. Very similar to TuneTalk hotel interior designs but I feel they did it better. Sheets were clean, bed and pillow were comfortable and tv was working fine. Toilet and shower room were also separated so quite convenient. Overall happy with this hotel.

The breakfast selection were very few. Some of the food were really bland. They also did not have an egg station even though the dining area had an egg station. Very few seats with big crowds so have to get there early.

It's located at town and easy to get food with few minutes drive. Free parking is provided (need scan your t&g at reception each time go out to waive the parking fees) I had two adults two kids (age 5 and 8) and their room design meet my needs (two deluxe bedroom, one bathroom, one toilet), one night for rm400 included tax (booked two days before). For this price is value for money in johor. Breakfast was nice for the price we paid, service also good as I saw when the croissants finished, the staff quickly refilled it, except the egg making section we asked for scramble egg but end up given fried egg lol Will be back if I go JB again ~
