The room was okay but the room we stayed was facing roof top no views. Berakfast and location was okay to me.

The beds should be king size in the room that we stayed.

Room was spacious, there is water dispenser in the room so it saved the trouble of boiling water. Bed and pillows were comfortable.

Room phone doesn't work, housekeeping was not prompt, toilet was not very clean and quite small. Location wise it's okay, have to grab everywhere.

Checking in and checking out processes was a breeze. The interconnecting room at level 22 has an ironing board and iron ready while the other room has a hair dryer on top of the ironing board and iron amenity. A plus for a family with hijabi women We love the pool and had a splashing good time. The breakfast had an awesome bread pudding and the food spread was good. Location by grab to Mid Valley was easy and getting a grab car was efficient. A walk to KSL Mall and Menara Pelangi is a short distance away around 10mins. It is also near Banafee Village.

We wish there were additional beds on standby for a family of 4 in the family deluxe room during a fully booked season. The blinds in the toilet are due for a change. We believe a frosted glass will suffice to replace the blinds instead.

Room 1201 & 1203 (Family Suites) cleanliness quite pleasant and huge combine rooms.

Family Suites Room 1201 & 1203 RM1,000/night stay. Unlike other hotels family suites which they provides us with at least welcome fruits basket, mineral water etc. TROVE JB-No towels provided upon check in at 3pm. There's a Nespresso coffee machine but without any coffee capsule. Warm empty mini fridge. Insufficient Nescafe and sugar sachet (only 2 sachets each), but no creamer and tea. Both rooms with a huge water dispenser but only have hot and room temperature water (No Cold). Hope the Hotel management look into this matters. Room service menu not appetizing at all (Should be more verities choices).

Facilities are abit dated. But its clean overall.

Been staying there a few times this year for a short stay but what puzzle me was the tourism tax. The first time I was charged when I paid in cash for the tax but no receipt given even when I asked for one. Just 2 days ago when I stayed there , I was again asked for the tax but I told the receptionist that I had already been charged and showed him him my receipt as I was paying thru Booking.com with my credit card. Then he told me that it’s ok as maybe the system didn’t showed it. It’s not much and if indeed we need to pay, then they should issue us with the tax invoice. Other then that, I loves to stay in the hotel for its location

We love everything! From the size of the room, the bathtub, the view, the breakfast. It was beyond our expectation. There's a cafe and convenience shop at the lobby, lots of cafes and eateries nearby. Easy to grab food there too. Wished we stayed longer. We will definitely come again in the future.

The check-in was long queue and a bit slow, should open more counters. We came at 3.20 and we only get our key card at 3.50pm. The swimming pool area was okay, the water just a little bit too cold for my baby. They placed the towel at the dining counter instead of the pool area. And a little roach was spotted at our bedside table (my husband killed it with his bare hands)

Our first time staying at Trove & we like: 1) spacious room 2) water dispenser ! such a brilliant idea ! so beneficial in so many ways. well done ! 3) soap & shampoo dispensers - again another welcomed change & addition 4) a set of essentials for a pleasant stay - dental kit 5) on site parking was seamless - fantastic 6) free wifi 7) tv options include Netflix - brilliant 8) friendly & helpful staff

From our experience, these are a handful of points you might like to take note 1) stayed in room 21-01, there was a musky scent. 2) the safe was not working - it looked like someone before tampered with it , activated the lock & didn't know how to de-activate it 3) some side plates & cutlery would have been useful 4) main bedsheet had a bit of stain 5) junior staff was a little anxious & nervy when handling requests . quite clearly lack of experience so would improve & do well with more guidance on empathy, compassion & attentive listening (not just hearing)

The breakfast was well spread out. The staff was always there to make sure that the guest were not left confused. Check in went well especially since we checked in at 1am. The staff helped to keep our pasteries that was bought at the cafe beside the hotel well and intact.

The little shop at the lobby was a little expesive but there's a food place down the road that could give a better satisfaction for the late night hungers.

Dear GM of Trove Johor Bahru, I returned to Trove Johor Bahru for 2 nights to attend a wedding. Although the wedding was held at Kota Masai, I still want to return to Trove Johor Bahru because I was impressed of the experience that I received during my previous stay. I want to express my thanks and appreciation to your Front Office Agent, Lynda for the service and care I received from 11 March 2023 to 13 March 2023. When we arrived in at 8.00am+, I went to Lynda and I was surprised that she recognizes me and greet me by my name. We chatted a little bit and she asked if I need anything that she could help me. Her toned was very cheerful and very calm. She was really caring and kind as a mother. She explained that it was still early for check-in, and we agreed. We did the registration processes, and we stored our bags at the front desk and returned at 2pm later. I walked past the front desk the next day wearing my blue Baju Melayu, and she said Hi and gave me compliments. I will be returning next month for four nights with three rooms during the fasting month as I felt very much welcome at Trove, all thanks to Lynda. She is a gem to your hotel. Please send my gratitude to her and I cannot wait to return to the hotel on 6 April 2023 to see her. Trove, you got yourself a loyal guest! Thank you Lynda for the wonderful friendly service.
