The view from the room is beautiful! Staff are lovely. Good aircon in room. The snorkelling is great once you find the good spot (go left of the main swim area). Snorkel hire is free for guests. Can also get phone signal fairly easily on the island.

Booked a sea view room which was lovely and quiet with a great balcony to chill on. The food was good and wholesome with no unnecessary excess. The staff were excellent and really helpful!

The beach was limited and very crowded during the visitor hours with boats from the mainland. We got around this by going out early or late.

Spacious rooms with a beautiful ocean view. Sunsets were beautiful and a great view to KK and Mt Kinabalu.

This isn’t a resort. The ocean rooms were lovely and spacious but that’s was about all, there were no tv channels, no wifi in the rooms and the phone wasn’t connected. The buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner were the only options to get food and the food was really disappointing and cold. It was served in this large room that felt like a cafeteria rather than a resort and I was told not to sit in the lovely outdoor area as it was used for day guests. Tourists, day guests and dive schools is the main purpose of this place and there wasn’t anything to do if you didn’t fit into that category. There was a pool but it was used by the dive school and didn’t feel like somewhere you could relax and read a book but was the only place to get wifi. There wasn’t anywhere you could relax or lay on the beach. There are a lot of day trippers and the beach was over run with them and the rubbish was really bad that it was a sad sight to see. The swimming and snorkelling was pretty bad too. I ended up leaving a night early as this was meant to be a relaxed end to my trip.

Small beautiful island and a small area of some beautiful coral. We saw cuttlefish and feather stars apart from many fishes and sea urchins.

It was very expensive for the quality of hotel and food. We had confirmed with hotel prior about vegetarian and vegan food but they didn't have any vegan protein for us. We had to explain that vegan and vegetarians also need protein in their meal and then got vegan protein for some meals. Mostly baked beans and once tofu. They did try to make vegan food for us but I think they are not so familiar with this kind of food. The staff tried to help as best they could. They have built too much on the tiny island. There is hardly any beach left in front of the hotel. There was also a lot of garbage like plastic bottles and disposable containers on the beach and in the vegetation next to the shore that maybe washed ashore. In my opinion it was not too difficult to hire a staff to clean this up. .
