Veranda Nautica

No words to describe the place and the Wonderful couple. They have been really nice. The view was exceptionally beautiful. Windy and calm. Cleaner comes in to clean and all were very nice people. They even offered us their homemade pizza. Though it's in top of the mountain, it doesn't take long when taking grab or car. Quick. Book your stay in this amazing place and you will comment the same. On a side note, I'm not being paid to say this. It is a genuine feedback from a customer.

There's nothing we did not like.

The view of the coastal islands is to die for - we could have sat and watched it for hours. Gordon was very hospitable and helpful. It was great to talk to someone local. He put us in touch with a great boat operator who took us upriver to see the mangrove swamps and the sea eagles and brahminy kites.

A small number of Grab drivers baulked at driving up the steep road to the house, but most were more or less game!

Stunning view, fantastic host. It was indeed a million dollar experience at Veranda Nautica. Feel like home away from home. Freshly baked bread and omelette served by the host Gordon are superb! A tour to the 2nd level by Pn Norlida was great...the view was even better from up there. Wish my children were there to see it too. The room is very clean and cozy, bed very comfortable even my insomniac hubby dozes off within minutes! Higly recommended for honeymooners and those who wants a quiet place with nice relaxing view yet only minutes to kuah town.

For us, it was the perfect place to stay and the perfect end of our Malaysia trip. The view is so amazing, the place is beautiful, nice room - just perfect! The room is really big, very nice furnished and lovely decorated with a huge and nice bathroom, everthing was very clean. The view is amazing, you can sit on the terrace and enjoy sunrise, sunset or the view to the bay. Breakfast is offered on Gordon’s and Norlida’s terrace, also with a breathtaking view and lovely breakfast, Gordon even bakes his own bread which tatest so good. The most oustanstanding to mention are Gordon and Norlida as the best hosts! Both are so friendly and helpful and helped us organizing everything – renting a scooter, booking a really great mangrove tour with Jamie (?) which we can higly recommend, suggestions for good restaurants…We also had a problem to solve – nothing caused by them or the place, our iPhone got stolen at the beach, and even in this situation Gordon helped us immediatly and with big effort, But most of all, Gordon and Norlida are so warm hosts who care about there guestst so much, it feels like visiting friends. When we arrived in Langkawi, we met Gordon in Kuah and spent the evening with him and his friends, everyone was so friendly and nice, a really good start. (Many regards to the tuesday-crew!) We enjoyed sitting together with Gordon and Norlida and there friends, talking, drining wine…thank you so much for everything – and a big hug for Zaky and Ali! For us, it was the perfect place to stay and a perfect end of our malaysia trip. Finally, we already miss you and your place and really hope to come back someday!

The view is unparalleled! Perched high up you get a spectacular view of the islands. The bedrooms are clean and spacious. One of the highlights of this place are the owners Gordon and Norlida. They go above and beyond making the stay unforgettable. Whatever they recommend you to see, do or eat...DO IT! We went along with all their suggestions and were not disappointed. We left having made friends and if ever we were in Langkawi again we'd without hesitation stay at Veranda!

We found Veranda Nautica to be the perfect place to unwind. The rooms are cozy and aesthetically beautiful, with a huge bathroom and a breathtaking view. Breakfast is made with care by the hosts, Norlida and Gordon, who greet you and make you feel like "old" friends right away. Gordon bakes delicious bread. Yes, you heard me right. The property is located along a few miles of road that climbs through the jungle, ensuring tranquility and a view of the truly unique bay, complete with stunning sunsets. Breakfast in the morning with a view is the best way to start the day here. You can rely on Norlida and Gordon for any logistical needs (rental bikes and automobiles), as well as advice: gracious hosts who made our vacation even better than we had hoped for. The hosts, Gordon and Norlida, are very friendly, approachable and helpful. Norlida is lovely to talk to and Gordon is quite the amazing chef; he baked us bread every morning and even made us “cucur jagung” on our last day. The view is breathtaking - beautiful bird’s eye view of both the city and the ocean. The bedroom and bathroom provided to us were clean, tidy and equipped with daily necessities. The property itself, although located on the hillside, is not far from Kuah town and close to local amenities.

Breathtaking view,the owner Gordon and Norlida both are very friendly and helpful. Not to forget Zacky and Ali, the friendly doggo and security. Located in Kuah town and nearby tourist spot (Dataran Lang,Maha tower). Easy access to good food in Kuah town 😋

The location abit challenging to climb up to the hill with small cc rental car. However the breathtaking view is worth for it, the view are even better than the skybridge/skycab. 😇

The view, the friendly owners, the architecture, the self-design n build spaces, the freshly baked bread. Did I already said? The stunning view and surrounded by nature. If you wish to do nothing but rest for your whole trip, hang out on the balcony sunbathing, this is the place.

If I must..... Wish had the disposable toothbrush. Coz we didn't bring ours thinking accommodation would have it. But we didn't ask anyway as the owners were already so accommodating to us.

The views and the peaceful environment will amaze you. And yes, not to forget Gordon and Nolida, who made were wonderful people and helped us with so many information and stories about the island. The room was clean, beautifully designed and everything was on point. Bed was so comfortable, room was spacious and the breakfast in ther morning was delicious. You won't regret anything if you choose to stay here. Highly recommended
