This place was great! The room was really clean and comfortable. Nice bed, desk, a bunch of outlets, also a set of hooks!(hooks are so helpful when you’re living out of a backpack:) The shower was hot with good pressure, nice towels, plus a bath mat(always a plus to keep the room dry). Location is great, near the Lake Gardens and a bunch of restaurants, and the hotel sent a whole list of recommendations which were great. All the staff are so nice and constantly asking if we needed anything. It’s a cute place too, nice decor and fresh flowers in vases all over. There was a communal kitchen and water dispensers. Really a wonderful stay.

The place is clearly popular and the sound carried easily but there were some foam pads up to try to combat it. I didn’t mind but if you’re sensitive to noise and have a loud neighbor it might be bothersome.

The hotel was comfortable and homey. I liked that there is a common area and kitchen to hang out. Loved that there is a water filter so we can refill our bottles anytime. Rooms are quite spacious and location is pretty central and walkable to a lot of shops. Water pressure was terrific. Bed was comfortable and having 2 pillows is a big bonus.

We knew about the glass bathroom door but we didn't expect that our room would be facing the morning sun. This made the bathroom super bright and scorching hot in the morning that it was so uncomfortable to shower in. I was sweating in the bathroom lol. Also the battery for the aircond remote died so we couldn't adjust the temperature of the room. Perhaps this could be checked regularly. We borrowed the aircond remote for the common area but it was also on low battery. The duvet was pretty thin.

I like the location. As my family and I came to Taiping with one of the purpose is to look for good food. Knight Alley's location is just spot on. Easy access to Larut Matang hawker centre, market is just steps away and some stalls like PSL banana fritters, Restaurant Kakak, Ansari cendol, Pusat Makan Taman Tasik are all in walking distance.

Sorry, I not quite like the built in slide. I understand that the management is trying to take care of all their customers needs but it's odd to have a slide there. Of course, the slide will be closed at 9pm.

This facility had a really fantastic and clean kitchen. There was filtered water both upstairs and downstairs and had a laundry facility that was donation based. The room and bathroom were very clean and there was a lamp for lighting. The location was just above a convenience store, so it was easy to grab and store snacks, drinks, etc. It was an easy walk to the park, which was beautiful and there were plenty of restaurants within a 5-10 walk that we frequented. We liked it so much that we stayed an additional night there. They also had a massage chair that you could use whenever you wanted too.

The hotel is great. They got elevators, nice for elderly. The provide good facilities such as free mineral waters, ironboard, water dispenser, reading area with couch, board games, prayer mat. The room is fantastic. Wide and comfortable. The bathroom is also huge. In the room also got small table to do work or makeup. The hotel location is great. Near mart, and bakery. I really like it. Would definitely repeat.

The parking lot is very limited and due to first come basis. The bathroom door i think cant be lock. Can just be close and its covered with curtain. Other thing is perfect.

Everything - location, amenities, cleanliness, staffs, recommendation on places to go, reserved car parks The family suite is amazing, both value for money and very kid friendly They have more amenities I could expect or even imagine for a hotel of this range; eg slide from 3rd floor to 2nd floor, large commercial fridge in the common kitchen, washer n dryer, and a massage chair which I’m not sure is for guests

One of the twin room our group stayed in smelled a bit musty, could be due to the room didn’t had fresh air for a while. But once we open the bathroom window to air it, it was better

The hotel is very conveniently located with shops and restaurants all in walking distance plus a convenience store next door. It was good to have a shared kitchen/dining area with shared fridge, microwave and other small appliances. Good provision of water refilling stations. Wifi was good. Kids also enjoyed the slide from the 3rd to 2nd floor :-)

The shower was leaking though otherwise usable. Instructions on how to use the showers would be helpful, too. Powerpoints by the bed would be helpful. Wifi should probably be secured by a password rather than just open access to anyone.

I like the accommodation provided by the hotel. I rarely found any hotel with kitchen for guest and lounge area with comfy accommodation in front of your room. It is also kids friendly hotel as your children can play hopscotch and slide inside the hotel. Air purifier at the hallway also gives fresh air inside the building. I love the interior design and decoration of this hotel - very creative and attractive.

Not a big deal actually but I would suggest for a room to put all the cleaning service tools etc. I need to pass the area to go to my room and I could clearly see all the tools at such open area.

I don't usually have a high expectations for any hotel in Malaysia for the price range I paid, but I totally wrong. This hotel really perfect and really instagrammable worthy. Every corner are just beautiful. I'm sad that I just have short time staying here because rushing with time and also book this place last minute. I really love the room that I get and of course I will definitely come back to this beautiful hotel. They really provide almost everything that you need. Thank you for your service ❤️

The lady that serve us for check in kinda strict. I wouldn't say unwelcoming but she remind me of fierce headmistress.

The staff are so lovely, they really care about their guests and will go out of their way to help you and make you feel welcome. They also give good advice on what to do in Taiping and insider tips such as what time you can see the animals being fed at the zoo. The facilities are modern and stylish, and the beds are comfortable. Everywhere is well decorated and there are plenty of communal spaces for cooking and relaxing. There are also laundry facilities you can use and water dispensers. It is a great location, all the main attractions of Taiping are within walking distance, as are many good places to eat. Overall great value for money.

There is no soundproofing, so it is quite noisy. You can hear everything in the neighbouring rooms and in the corridors and communal spaces from your room. I think I was unlucky with my neighbours as they were very loud. The children's play area is a nice idea, but it becomes noisy, especially when used at night, perhaps it could be locked after 9pm?
