There are so many great things to say about Donjuan By Melida Hotel. The management is AMAZING! The husband and wife team live on-site and are there to help with anything we needed. They shared local restaurants for us to try that were less touristy. The location was FANTASTIC. If you plan to visit Cabo and want to hang around the Marina area, it is just a very short walk away. If you want to chill after walking around all day, the outdoor pool is very well-heated. There is also a shared fridge, microwave, and BBQ out near the pool. The rooms are really nice. The beds were super comfy, and the large TV on the wall had Netflix. The shower had excellent water pressure and HOT water.

The location was very convenient, we came in with a car but ended up with not driving it during our stay. It's walking distance to local restaurants and the Marina. The owners are super friendly, my husband ended up having some serious stomach issues from the food we ate, Omar told me if things keep getting worse at night, just ring the bell and they'd take us to the doctor... It's such a reassuring feeling when you are in a different city without speaking the language fluently. Oh and they have also upgraded our room because we went to celebrate my husband's birthday. Can't wait to come back and stay longer.

Everything worked out nicely.

You get what you pay for. Very clean, comfortable bed, huge tv (Sky). Not an overpriced luxury resort but good value for money. Very convenient location, just a few blocks away from the busy streets of downtown Cabo, and within walking distance to the beaches of Medano and Solmar (Lovers‘ Beach, just a short climb away). Didn‘t use the small pool, but other people did. Lovely Mexican-style restaurant for breakfast (and dinner) just across the street (Doña Lolita). Helpful and friendly propietor. Would stay there again.

Arrived late at night and had reserved late and still allowed us to choose our rooms.The flexibility to accommodate our party of 9 was amazing due to the short notice.The customer service exceeded our expectations.Extremely helpful in showing us the in and outs of town.Very personalized service for our needs.We strongly recommend this Hotel for families.The location is prime ,has accessibility for everything within walking distance.Shopping,Marina,high end and mom and pop restaurants.The host is excellent and extremely attentive.

If we had more time to stay!!

The rooms were very clean with good A/C and the bed is really comfortable. The pool is great to hang out in, especially in the evening. Very close to great restaurants and well located. The owner Omar and his wife were amazing, made us feel so welcomed and gave great advice on tours and where to eat. Would definitely come back again.

No complaints at all

The operators, Jenny and Omar, make you feel more like your staying with family. 1 eg; My wife asked where close by she could buy sandals..15min later, Jenny presents her with a pair..(gratis!) On check in, showed us several room options. Jenny even offered to drive us to a beach further away that was more 'serene'. Our schedule didn't allow the time.. but, other than 4-5star properties w/concierge, all inclusive..who does that? (Our reference point was that our first week in Cabo WAS at all inclusive 5* Hacienda Encatada) this stay was extending our visit, within walking distance to Marina.

The property is older and tired in places, but we were looking for value and cleanliness. Beds, linens and towels were ALL Top shelf. Jenny and Omar are actively making improvements. We've stayed at Value Hotels that have just 'thrown in the towel' given up... This is NOT that. They take pride in cleaning and providing service wherever possible.

The location is close to everything in Cabo San Lucas. The hotel owners are always available to give good tips about the best places to eat around town. The rooms were super clean and definitely were a deal. This place is perfect for guys traveling alone in Cabo.

The hot water in the shower works occasionally, but that is the case for most places in Mexico if you are not staying at a resort.

The owners where super nice. They made me feel extremely comfortable. There young son was so well mannered. This is perfect place to stay and the location is idea for a short comfortable walk to marina and all the action. I give this place a 5 star rating. I am normally very tight with rating however, the cleanliness and warm hospitality did it for me. Thank you again guys.

I came here after I was separated from my group and only had a few nights to spend prior to going back to the US. I had looked up affordable hotels in the area and thought Donjuan looked both reasonably priced and well-located. As others mention, the staff here are absolutely superb. Yenny and Omar will help you with literally anything you need or want. I'm a big guy so I was very pleased with the King bed and Cool AC. While my stay was short, I would recommend to those considering.

Not that it's really a downside but having a fridge in each unit would seal the deal. That said, there is a communal fridge that can be used.

This is a family owned and run hotel, and I don't think I've ever stayed anywhere run by nicer people. They were friendly, helpful, and just made everything a joy. It's amazingly located- you're only a block from the Cabo main drag, but the street is quiet and safe. They had street parking set aside, the AC worked perfectly, and the bed was more comfortable than my own. I will absolutely be staying here again next time I'm in town.

That I was only able to stay one night.
