I refuse to dine by buffet and was apprehensive about "all inclusive". Pleasantly surprised! it was fun to try a different restaurant each evening, with interesting menus and fresh ingredients. Good luck saving room for dessert, but sooo worth it!! Bodega made a good steak and creative salads, Skybar Sushi was a feast with atmosphere, Catch of the Day and Canneloni at Rosata were perfectly prepared and paired with a nice choice in wine. Tuna Tostada at The cevicheria is muy bueno. Try the green juice with breakfast at the Penninsula Cafe by the Adult pool. The guys working by the Adult Pool area are outstanding with hustling ice buckets with water, beverages and a surprisingly delicious snack menu. the chicken quesadilla is tasty. Discovered Room Service late in our stay, which is also "included"! The service was truly exceptional everywhere. Next time we go, we will load up on cash for tips, which don't seem expected but are greatly appreciated.

It took a day to get the lay of the land in relationship to our room location. Although nice to cool off on 80F+ days, the pool was chilly. There isn't a place on premises to break down bills if you want change for tips. The tiled bathroom floors are very slippery when wet. There arent handrails and it's a lot of walking for someone that uses a mobility device.

All employees smiled and served with style. They wanted my husband and I to feel at home. Gorgeous property in the Sea of Cortez. All pools (lots) clean and sparkled. Food four and five star offerings Rosato Italian flare and Peninsula local and infused creations were are favorite. Blu and the Breakfast Buffett at Vina del Mar superb. All employees wore masks and took Covid safety protocols seriously.

Four night five day stay no complaints. Though minor better signage along pathways and in buildings will be helpful to navigate this large property resort.

The breakfast buffer had plenty of tions and the service was excellent. Numerous restaurant options, the Sushi and Italian restaurants were two of my favorites for dinner. During the day the poolside restaurant was a great option and very convenient. We stayed in the family suite and there wa splenty of room for the 5 of us as it has two separate bedrooms and 2.5 baths. Also, unlike many other hotels there was a section of beach where you could get into the water. Kids got a chance to snorkel right at the hotel.

August might not be the best time to visit unless you like it hot, hot, hot!!

The food at this resort was divine! The only place we didn't get to eat at was Rosato's; no reservations were available! The sushi at Sky was amazing. The red snapper at El Mexicano was delicious! And the breakfast and lunch at the Peninsula were fabulous! Also, definitely try the ceviche and the shrimp and/or beef tacos at BLU! Actually, try anything at BLU! The lobby bar, the cart drivers, and all of the housekeeping staff were exceptional! The hotel personnel were simply fantastic! And the best news ever, they did not make us sit through any type of presentation!

The guest rooms, while very comfortable, needed some attention to detail. Simple little repairs, like paint and grout repair, were not cleaned up properly. Paint drops were just left as is. The mirrors need to be replaced as well.

Great experience! Staff was pleasant & attentive, good service and enjoyed great variety of food. Room was clean with good amenities and decent ocean view. Rode ATV, went sport fishing and hotel assisted in coordinating both. Shuttle bus to town is a cheap 15min ride. COVID restrictions where followed but I still enjoyed it and I would definitely return.

At check in, got some extra cash to be able to tip servers as you go. Found out at check out time that you’re billed for a daily tip amount and I was never advised. Felt as I double tipped as I made it a point to tip those who assisted me. Tried most of the restaurants on site - some where awesome and others disappointed but it was a good experience to try them all! No issues overall

Amazing property! Very clean, lots of restaurants, beautiful views.

Only complaint is that the beach is rocky, but probably one of the best resort options in Cabo if you want to go in the ocean at all.

The staff was great and really professional. They anticipated your needs and were happy to deliver. The food and drinks overall were quite nice for an all inclusive resort.

Transportation services to and from the airport aren't available and I think that you should be able to schedule something directly with the resort.

Bed was hard and not comfortable. Room didn’t stay cold enough at night.

Our trip to Grand Fiesta Americana was great! There were 11 of us… our six grown kids, three with spouses and my husband and I. We stayed in two different rooms … a 3 Bedroom Plus(which slept 8 of us) and an ocean view double. Both were very comfortable, AC worked great, mattresses and pillows were comfy etc. the three bedroom room was up in the older part of the resort in the villas, but the walk was not bad and shuttles would constantly run by to take you to the main part of the resort if you didn’t want to walk. There were lots of restaurant choices! The food we ordered by the pools was enjoyed too. Just things like hamburgers, quesadillas, guacamole, etc. but very tasty! I think the Italian restaurant was the group’s favorite, with the sushi place second. We all loved the breakfast buffet. It had a ton of choices! Our group was heavy drinkers (for fun kind of drinkers) , so we did the all inclusive. We loved this ease of this choice and saved alot of money (because drinks and food would have been expensive and would have added up quickly). The staff throughout the facility were the best! We especially loved Alejandro (server) and Francisco (bartender) by the pools! Would definitely recommend this for a fun vacation spot!

The check in process for us was kind of messed up. Rooms weren’t correct at first, etc. But in fairness, the front desk staff was pleasant throughout and tried to settle the issues. Additionally, some of our group arrived before me, so they didn’t have the reservation info to even realize the problems from the beginning until My husband and I arrived. I am sure the language barrier played a role when we were trying to resolve the issues, but that isn’t anything against the resort staff (that would be against us since we did not speak Spanish) and they did a good job trying to explain in English. Overall this would be the only “negative”, but in my opinion is understandable.

The restaurants get crowded and it feels they are beyond capacity at times. The wifi is horrible. The Starbucks and the store and an absolute rip off. No, they aren't expensive. I would understand if things were double the price, but the Starbucks is about 3x the price and the store (god forbid you need sunscreen) is about 5x the price so you feel jibbed
