We loved this little place! The reception staff,both morning anf afternoon were so friendly, our room was great, enjoyed the restaurant, the wait staff was fantastic, usually we had Caesar, who, in spite of language issues, treated us wonderfully. The private beach was small but incredible. We had a peaceful, restful break.

I wish there had been a fridge in our room but we took a cooler and were able to purchase ice from the dining room. I think it would have been quite helpful for us and the wait staff if the menu was translated into English as well but we used our phones and muddled through.

This was an older hotel but had a quirky appeal. The staff was great. The room was basic but exceptionally clean. They had their own little private beach complete with palapas. Excellent view of sunset from the beach. Restaurant on premises with simple menu and reasonable prices featuring Mexican cuisine..... grilled fish tacos were delish. Location about half way between La Paz and Balandro beach. This hotel has dock from which you can book excursions to Espiritu Island or swim with whale sharks.

It was no problem for us but.... no elevators to 2nd & 3rd floors. No refrigerator or microwave although we knew that up front.

Nice private beach ,,, food at the restaurant very good ,, clean room and nice bed ,,, LUPITA from housekeeping was always very helpful and she had very nice attention to the guess ,,, it's a nice place to relax,,

It would be nice to have a little mini refrigerator inside the room ,, because it was very hot outside and the are not market near by to buy ice ,,,

It’s the last hotel before Balandra. You can rent a kayak from the hotel and paddle to the wonderful beach. Two hours one way. Bed was very comfortable, shower perfect. Cantamar also organizes, with departures from the hotel, swimming with whale-shark, tour of Isla Spirito Santo and so on.

this hotel was amazing and only 10 mins drive to Bahia balandra (which is the main reason we came to La paz). we enjoyed our two night stay here so much that booked another two nights. also hiring kayaks here. the staff were amazing, attending to every request we had and spoke amazing English for us foreigners.

it’s annoying that there is no shops in the area so you can only buy food and drink from their restaurant (although their food is quite nice) you can only eat and drink what they have. not many taxis or Uber will collect you from here if you wanted to go out to town

The privacy and rustic outdoor

At beginning I was turned off by peeling paint side street wall but ounces inside change my impression. Great staff and very comfortable room with a nice balcony facing the ocean.

For a beach front hotel it is priced well. The beach is not big but beautiful clean water, you can do so snorkeling right from it The diving site is also close. I only wish the weather was better when I was there. The shower was hot and the cleaning was well done, comfortable beds, coffee machine but no fridge. The area around the hotel is well kept and secure.

I have to carry my bag to 4-th floor, no lift or offer to help for small fee. Access card haven't worked at first. The hotel is very close to ferries and sometimes noise/ vibration at night.

Nice comfy king bed & clean room with lovely view.

exterior of building & pool need paint & grounds need attention. garbage left on the beach with no one cleaning up.

The hotel was in a good location if wanting to visit Playa Balandra. Staff were helpful and there was a great restaurant on site.

The property could use some up keep.

The location is amazing if your priority is getting to the beaches. You can take the tours from the marina at the hotel. The maintenance and cleaning staff work very hard. The pool is very clean

It was pretty isolated. I did not have a car so relied on taxis and trips by the hotel to get to town. I think having a car to get around would be better. There werent a lot of other guests when i was there and the restaurant closed understandably quite early
