Rooms are ample, clean and comfortable, with great views to the Pacific Ocean and Isla de Ixtapa. There are 3 pools, one only for adults. Beach is small, but private and nice to swim in the sea. Food a good at Aqua buffet and excellent at the 3 specialty restaurants, though surprisingly, you can only visit one of them per 2 nights stay. Overall, a great hotel for Ixtapa, good value for the price, excellent amenities.

Having only 1 chance to visit a specialty (a la carte) restaurant for every 2 nights stay, so every other meal was basically snacks or buffet.

The property was very clean and the layout was great. The pool and beach was easy to access. The food was actually great-way better than other places we haves stayed at. Their fitness classes scheduled were stimulating (spinning.) Had a great experience at the spa. They truly know how to pamper and take care of you. I really enjoyed the private beach with the different lounging areas. It was nice to know there were only guests of the hotel allowed on the beach. The rooms were properly cleaned and mini fridges restocked every day. The robes and slippers were the best after having spent all day in the sun and water.

My only complaint is other guests. Lots of rude people with annoying kids crying and running around without supervision. This hotel is not geared towards children, yet parents somehow selfishly still decide to bring them even though realistically there are no play areas specifically designed for them. Every night we had DIFFERENT neighbors with crying children and parents yelling at them to settle down. Definitely NOT ideal when trying to have a relaxing experience.

We completely enjoyed everything. One thing that stood out was the absence of pushy salesmen trying to get you to buy some "membership". We've been scammed by that in other Mexican hotels. I was pleasantly surprised this establishment did not have that at all! Loved it and will definitely go back!

I did not like the "booking agent" when trying to book another week at a later time. Trying to forcefully sell me 3 rooms when all I needed was 2. Do your own booking online.

Great service. Modern and well maintained. Excellent location (private but close enough to great amenities such as crocodile sanctuary,Ixtapa Island, Playa linda, great cyclo path). The jacuzzi in the rooms. the View!

Ridiculous dress code for reservation only dinner (mandatory pants and closed shoes at 30deg outside). I (male) was able to get in wearing my mom's dress though. Adult only jacuzzi. My 13 year-old was not able to get in even with adult supervision and the lifeguard two meter away.

Beautiful views, clean and comfortable, good food. We were with kids, the kids' club is quite small and activities are mostly indoors but they enjoyed it. One pool is adult-only, and the infinity pool is theoretically over 12 years but luckily this latter rule wasn't enforced, the infinity pool is really the gem of the resort! Along with the balinese beds near the beach which are in a very attractive nature setting and strangely enough always very available when we were there. I recommend doing the kayak tour especially for the good snorkelling on Playa Coral (bring your own snorkel if you have because with covid they only provide the goggles, and bring a towel to cover your legs in the kayak or foresee loads of sunscreen). We had a very pleasant stay, overall a good price-quality ratio compared to other upscale all-in resorts.

Water activities have some constraints, you have to register a day ahead and you can't just take out a kayak or sailboat to the sea on your own. But the kayak tour shouldn't be missed, it's very nice

Did not have Booking.com reservation at arrival Internet is not free in rooms - 150MXN per day, per device for barely 10mbps speed is ridiculous in this day and age. Porters joining already occupied lifts (with new guests) exceeding the 3 person limit.... but staff were otherwise very observant of covid protocols. No wine list for dinner - it would have been nice to be able to purchase a decent bottle at speciality dinners. Wine that was available as part of all inclusive was v. poor.

Pools were cold, no swimmable beach, you only get a limited number of reservations for the restaurants, which have much better food than the buffet.

Loved the waves crashing, loved the infinity pool, loved the view from the room.

Rules for children in infinity pool not enforced. Had trouble getting chairs at pool as there were at least 15 young children in pool along with their parents. Room was not ready upon arrival after long travel. Issue was apparently door lock. Door lock failed two more times during our stay. On the plus side, maintenance techs responded very quickly when door issues identified.
