The location was nice. Slightly out of the way, yet a close walk (a bit over a mile) along the beach to la Cruz. A close taxi ride to Bucerios. Sayulita was about 20 miles away so not far as well. I loved that our casita had so many openings to the outside covered by screens. The air flow at night was so lovely as was the view out our window waking up. There are only 7 rooms on the grounds with lots of opportunities to meet others staying there, but also lots of beautiful nooks and crannies to find and hang out in. The pool is lovely and access to the beach is right out in front. Lovely views.

In our casita I didn't care for the shower right by the toilet. Our floor in the bathroom became very wet after a shower.

The Villa is everything the reviewers tell you and more. It is a little slice of heaven set away from the glitzy all-inclusives. The place is spotless & every nook & cranny has been thought out. The entire property is yours - take advantage of it especially the outdoor kitchen & 3rd level patio. The Delfin suite was so amazing - massive including living area. Kayaks for use, on-site staff and managers available on What's App. We took advantage of the pre-order groceries which is a game-changer. Had cold beer, guac & chips for our arrival & were able to ease into the vacay by making our own breaky. Easy walk on the beach to La Cruz (Sunday Market is a must) and a decent walk (1hr to Bucerias) Buses are plentiful and easy to get to if you just walk up the road 900m to the roadway. The other guests are all quiet and respectful and you barely run into one-another. There are kayaks to use and the beach is 3 steps away. The pool is perfect and so clean. There is a giant wardrobe near the entrance that has giant, fluffy beach towels, bug spray, medications ie: Pepto Bismal, tampons and bandaids... so helpful.

We arrived on a National holiday and were in Los Santos hut with no windows, just screens. The rental house next door partied for two nights in a row & it felt like they were in our bedroom. It was LOUD. Then the all-inclusive in the next bay liked to have live bands on the grounds so we got it from both directions. We asked to be moved and were quickly accommodated to the Delfin. We truly loved our little hut but there was no sleeping under those circumstances. No fault of the Villa.

Staff [Yolanda & Mario] - extremely kind & helpful. Authentic Mexican atmosphere and the whole building was spotless. Pool was a good size and deck furniture comfortable and lovely. Many areas for public and/or private use as the space is quite large. Beach in front is quiet and it is a short walking distance to a 5 star hotel for wining and dining. We enjoyed watching the oyster divers each morning while we sipped our coffee on the roof top.

Beds not comfortable and balcony in Casa Santiago is tiny & sort of useless. The area directly in front of our entrance is dedicated to the space next door - Casa Isabella. When the occupants in that room were both smoking at their patio table - it filtered directly into our room plus we could hear their conversations. It would make more sense to assign that balcony space to Casa Santiago as there is still an abundance of balcony space directly in front of Casa Isabella.

I'm almost a little afraid to say how nice this place is for fear of it being fully booked the next time I'd like to return! The whole property is wonderful - indoor and outdoor spaces - particularly the pool area and outdoor kitchen. Great art all around and the garden elements on site also add to the beauty.

Next time I'll try to book a unit even closer to the beach - love to hear the waves crashing through open windows one after another all through the night.

The property is a small paradise with unique Mexican decor. it was great to have the opportunity to meet people from all over . Lovely clean grounds and pool to cool off after a warm day . Its a great place to relax and enjoy the sound of the waves. We saw some whales from the balcony, and there were iguanas and various birds to entertain us! Loved every minute of our stay!

It is a trade off of being somewhat “away from it all” and having to take a taxi to La Cruz Village or Bucerias. Depending on the tide it is accessible to walk the beach. We didn’t mind taking a taxi or walking.

Great Villa, has 9 rooms and is big enough you feel like you are the only person there. Villa has a history to it and was designed by the original owner that recently passed away. It's a treat to spend days around the pool and using the facilities. Occasionally, iguana comes for a swim as well. You can borrow kayaks and head for the ocean. The water is very calm on this side of the bay. Communication with staff via email was great. 50 minutes walk to Bucerias .25 minutes the other way to marina and few restaurants and basic small grocery store.

The shower was temperamental.

This property is BEAUTIFUL and extremely quiet. It is a bit of a walk to get to a store and a cab would be in order for a grocery shop. The rooms are GORGEOUS. The artwork is MAGNIFICENT. The grounds and pool are a dream!! Outdoor kitchens are fully stocked with kitchenware, fridge, stove, microwave and toaster. Lovely seating areas throughout. Gardens are gorgeous. Ocean right at your doorstep. Perfection!!

The shower in my room (Casa Isabella) was a bit on the temperamental side.

Unique accommodation. Mexican/Spanish style villa built around beautiful pool large enough to swim laps. Attractively and colorfully decorated rooms. Good beds. Basic kitchen, ample to prepare simple meals. Garden and grounds well maintained. Close to town of Cruz, a sweet, still fairly serene town. Terrific fish market, Sunday market.

Exterior lighting on stairs to upstairs units needs improvement.

Great decor and amenities. Beer in the fridge, ample cold water, fresh-made guacamole, coffee and filters all provided. Thoughtfully designed property with an interesting history. Plenty of beautiful common areas. Lots of convenient wall plugs, fans and lights. Great communication with staff! Stayed in Casa Delfín.

Bed was a little hard - but that's just us.

Jardins is a piece of paradise. Gorgeous location, landscaping, views, and wonderful guests. The isolation is a bit of an inconvenience. Be prepared to take a cab everywhere. What a wonderful place to relax though. Staff is wonderful.

The isolation was a concern at times but you live with it. To walk to La Cruz is to walk the beach at low tide for 25 minutes. Bucerias is an hour walk along the beach.
