The pool and courtyard are incredibly beautiful, calm, and relaxing. Our room was comfy and had a lot of local flavor.

The shower was not warm and had about 8 small streams shooting out of it in all directions. One day the maid accidentally locked the door to the bedroom in our suite, but didn’t tell anyone, and when we asked about it they told us they didn’t have the key to that door – I had to pick the lock with a knife.

Breakfast was not offered but the location of the hotel was perfect. Just a few block away is the main road through the Rinconada neighborhood where you can find a number of cafes and restaurants that offer breakfast, lunch and dinner at a very reasonable price. The hotel does offer snacks, water, beverages and boasts a full bar. The hotel is also within walking distance to many family friendly beaches. The pool and it's surroundings are beautiful, perfect environment for total relaxation. We stayed in the Junior Suite and it was excellent and convenient in every possible way. The owner of the property is almost always around and he is very nice and accommodating, as are the rest of the hotel staff.

There was nothing that I didn't like. It was a perfect vacation stay. A real hidden gem.

We loved staying here! The staff are really friendly and stayed up late to help us check in when our flight arrived late, and they always helped with local information and with booking some amazing tours through them. The hotel itself is full of beautiful spaces with plants and that gives it such a relaxing feel. The swimming pool was a perfect temperature and is a great place to relax, and there's a small pool on the top floor too with amazing views over the town. The room was big and clean, with a lovely big shower, super comfortable bed, TV with Netflix, and coffee-making facilities with free coffee provided. We had a little private terrace where we could sit and enjoy a coffee in the morning, and dry our clothes. The room was cleaned daily and fresh drinking water was left in the fridge. Finally, the hotel is in a great location - in a quieter and calm part of town but only a few minutes walk from nice places to eat and shop, and only a short walk to some of the best beaches too! I would highly recommend staying here, and we look forward to coming back again soon. Thank you to all the staff who made our holiday so relaxing and enjoyable.

An absolutely incredible stay here at probably the most gorgeous hotel we've stayed at. Colourful building, amazing plants that it felt like a jungle and staying in paradise. Really comfortable bedroom that was light and airy and great furnishings. The room was spacious and loved the little sitting area and terrace too. The location was fantastic, and we walked to several nearby beaches and got taxis to the main town. Some fantastic restaurants just moments away too. It felt like a second honeymoon and we were so happy here for a week, I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Not much really - one staff member seemed a little moody/unwelcoming for some reason. There were baby cockroaches in the bathroom...but it's Mexico!

The hotel is a lovely oasis and the pool was excellent in the heat of the day. Our room was comfortable and spacious with good air con. We had a few small issues with the bed side lights and the air con control but the staff fixed these quickly. We thought the location was perfect for us. Close to beaches and good food and a short drive to more lively parts of town.

Our room was quite dark during the day which was good for sleeping but not hanging out in. Some proper bedside reading lights would have been good as we had to get out of bed to turn the main light off when we were done reading. There were quite a lot of building works going on when we were there which was a bit noisy.

Perfection. Simply bliss. If you want a beautiful room in a super quiet location, don't hesitate to book. Great size room, massive comfortable bed, and lovely bathroom area. By far our favorite place we stayed in Mexico. Afternoons chilling by the pool after a morning at the beach were so, so relaxing. Staff really helpful as well. The restaurant next door Chill a kill is a must visit as well. Great food (inc vegan) and killer cocktails. The beach is a short walk away and worth the stairs to get to!

We had a brilliant suite with a full kitchen and dining table. The highlight for us was the huge balcony. There were workers building outside our balcony, which we could have done without. Very comfortable king bed, with lots of storage. English tv, Netflix, left something to be desired, very spotty. Our daily housekeeper kept us all organized, with fresh foliage on our stay. The pool and grounds are well maintained. The staff was very helpful, ordering us taxis. Our downfall was we speak very little Spanish, or French.

The locks on the doors could have been more secure.

The beautiful setting with amazing gardens and amazing views out to sea. The pool area is lovely and relaxing and the area is easily walkable to come great resturants including the chill a kill which is directly nextdoor and great for breakfast/lunch and then el neno on the resturant strip was lovely for food and cocktails. This area is very close to the airport (only a 10min drive) and have enough to do in the easily walkable area for a relaxing holiday.

The other main bar and resturant area of zicatela and La Punta are too far to walk and require a taxi (15-20mins) so if you want to go out late in the evenings it may be better to be in that area

This hotel is called La Hacienda for a good reason. You will feel like you are staying in a hacienda. The grounds are a sight to behold and perfectly manicured. Fresh flowers are placed in your room daily. The swimming pool is a perfect size for the Hacienda and is close to the reception and bar where they will serve you drinks. It's location is very good too - about 3 blocks from a main street with numerous shops and restaurants. After visiting those restaurants you can continue a few more blocks to the most visited beach of Playa Carrizalillo with it's many steps to the beach. Taxis are availing within minutes. I can't say enough good things about La Hacienda.
