The location on top of the cliff with outstanding views over the bay, beach and surfers was perfect. The hotel and room itself was very lovely and spacious with comfortable beds. You could park in front of the hotel. The food in the restaurant was very good, but the town was also very close with some bars, laundry and restaurants. In the villa we had filtered water, so there was no need to buy bottles of water.

The only downside was the practically non-existing wifi.

We stayed for a week in a two person villa and loved every minute of it. The rooms are well appointed and furnished. The views are sublime with private access to Playa Carrizalillo. Staff are amazing (my wife lost her phone in a taxi and they moved heaven and earth to get it back for her successfully). They also allowed us to check in early which was a lovely gesture as we were tired after our flight. The best thing about this accommodation is Espadin, the restaurant attached to it. The food is sublime, cocktails reasonably priced and delicious and again the view is breathtaking.

The villas were huge, kitchen was well equipped with all sorts of cooking supplies and a water cooler. Really nice but not too fancy/stuffy. Location was perfect since you have private access to Playa Carrizalillo and can easily walk to shops/restaurants in Rinconada and the beach/boats at Puerto Angelito. Short taxi to Zicatela. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially with holding bags and getting you set up until your room is ready and after check out (semi-outdoor shower is great for rinsing before heading to the airport).

The pool wasn't very large or super clean (seemed perfectly hygienic, just a few leaves and such since it wasn't being used that often). It really doesn't matter though since you have so many beach options.

The location was amazing! Beautiful views and we had an incredible room with 2 balconies. We really enjoyed our stay a lot and felt really relaxed being there. The beach was safe to swim in and we took surfing lessons there too. Staff was really friendly and always helped us to book taxis etc. Would definitely return!

The included breakfast could have been improved. We felt we had to buy a nicer breakfast off the menu every day because the plate that was included was not at a high standard. Also a bit cheap to only offer either a glass of juice or coffee, not both. The other thing was that the pool was small and not super clean. However, the beach and rest of hotel is beautiful!

Beautiful apartments with wonderful amenities. The beach is beautiful and the attached restaurant is good value. Our apartments were cleaned spotlessly everyday and the staff was friendly. We loved it here.

Poor internet, no laundry on site (though there is laundry close by up the street) and unfortunately I didn’t really get any help when I asked about a bus schedule to Huatulco for our flight out. We were actually given the wrong information causing us to miss our bus and almost our flight, so I felt some staff could have been a bit more helpful. Also the restaurant didn’t have menu items appropriate for small children and though they accommodated requests, the prices were as much as an adult portion.

Amazing location for leisure and to have access to the swimming beaches and a beach that beginner surfers use. Two AC units were in the room which is needed. It is very quiet and you can text the front desk which Angelica was amazing. Clean and very comfortable bed and you can hear the ocean at night which helped put us to sleep. Private walkway to the popular beach. In the villas they give you a cooking stove and all the stuff you would need to cook etc like knives pans cups and coffee and French press along with a kettle and coffee grounds. Amazing

The hot water was hot the first day but after was lukewarm/cold. It was okay because the heat was terrible.

Stunning location, great restaurant, beautiful and relaxing layout with lots of pleasant outdoor spaces, friendly and accommodating staff, great AC in the rooms. Private beach access stairs were a real plus.

It was pretty perfect. The weather was really hot and a lot of mosquitoes in July, not the hotel’s fault of course. That made it extra nice to have lovely hotel space to relax in, since we didn’t spend long hours on the beach or walking around town as we would have in cooler weather.

They didn't offer any breakfast, but when we had dinner there (at Espadin), our drinks were taken care of. The location and view was fabulous. We loved our Villa Terraza, which offered a lot of privacy and a million dollar view of the beach below and their awesome sunsets. Playa Carazilillo below, was also the best swimming beach in the area, well-protected without the strong currents as some of the other beaches. I liked having the kitchenette to make breakfast, after loading up at the grocery store in town. It was also 10-15 min walking to restaurant row in town, with our favorite restaurants being Cafecito and El Nene.

Aramando (at front desk) wasn't very empathetic when I mentioned that we had no water in our bathroom. He said it would be 5 min., which in Mexico can be anywhere to a couple hours. In this case it did take 4hrs to fix. Angie (at front desk) was just the opposite, so very helpful with everything we asked of her.

We had a 2 bedroom villa for the two of us so it felt very spacious. The kitchenette was very well equipped, although a larger frying pan would have been nice. The bathroom was a bit small, but fine for two. There was plenty of hot water and great water pressure. The beds were comfortable and linens were great. We loved the outdoor patio area. Housekeeping was fantastic, very thorough. We did not use their services every day. Having the purified water supplied was a great plus. There are plenty of common outdoor sitting areas which were never crowded. The gardens were lovely as was the overall feel of the grounds. We liked the small size. The views and sunsets were gorgeous. Having stairs directly to the beach was great.

At times bad smells came up from the shower drain when in use. Housekeeping washed the black cement floors. I know they were clean, but our feet would get black looking if we went barefoot. The pool water was too cool for me, but that is personal. No fault of the property, but there were some mosquitos, not many but enough to get some bites. (Last half of November)

location was superb and quiet at night time. stayed in Terraza. Loved the huge balcony. Easy walk into town. Grounds well maintained. Loved Ketchup who visited to our room and Gemma, 2 valued staff members 😀 staff were always pleasant to deal with, called taxi’s for us everyday. they spoke English well, no problem understanding and responding to what we asked them. loved, loved, loved showering with the window open and looking across the bay at the same time!!

Stairs to beach were steep wouldn’t suit someone with mobility issues (wasn’t an issue for us). Would have liked hot running water in the kitchen. first day of arrivals had problems with both fridge and air conditioning unit leaking water all over floor. this was dealt with immediately and we had two workers in our unit until almost 11:00 pm. staff contacted booking.com the next day and requested a 100% refund for the first night, sent texted apology and offered us a free dinner. customer service was exceptional and genuinely wanted to make it right and fix issues promptly 10/10 for this.
