Maya Suites was perfect! The location was great, right on the beach with lots of different beach bars and casual restaurant choices. By 6pm most people have left and you have the beach all to yourself. It’s nice and peaceful at night (all you can hear it’s nature sounds) as all the action is happening in the center, which is just 20min away, so easy to reach for dinner or if you are in the mood of partying. Aldo, the host, is extremely hospitable and responsive. He gave clear check-in instructions and facilitated the booking scuba diving excursions. I had forgotten my iPhone in the apartment and he drove all the way to the airport to return it to me before my flight would take off! If that’s not exceptional hospitality, I don’t know what is!

Aldo & Nora are really friendly and really helpful. Lots of communication in English prior to our stay and helpful for us to find our way to the accommodation. Aldo went above and beyond with booking taxis for us. My Spanish is limited. Accommodation is spotlessly clean. Lovely walk in shower and large bathroom. Accommodation is modern with mosquito screens, which helped keep the bugs out at dusk. Plenty of furniture and equipment for a self-catering stay. You are on the doorstep of two beach clubs with sun loungers, pools, food and drink with waiter service. Though not affiliated to the accommodation, you do get money off the food and drink and free access. The beach is on your doorstep, lots of water sports, boat trips, inflatables in the sea for your enjoyment. Accommodation is about 20mins from the ferry by taxi. Just a 5 minute walk towards town is a Mexican shack with freshly cooked food and cheap prices.

Nothing to dislike. I suggested a hairdryer in the room, as we came with only overnight bags.

very spacious room, coffee machine available some things around it are under construction but that did not spoil it the host was the most helpful host we have ever had

Shower lock broken Kitchen had electric stove but no pot or pan to use with. The restaurant in the beach next to the apartment (Chula’s) should be banned, they have USD prices in the menu and charge 20/1 rate in pesos. (Not to mention the high prices of items in the menu as it is in USD). Would recommend avoiding buying from them

very big, pretty much on the beach, very clean, well decorated, cleaning service, friendly, the shower water was hot, the beach club didn’t seem to mind if we sat on the chairs on the beach especially closer to the end of the day. we enjoyed the beach very much- you can snorkel off the dock and see lots of fish. also, this is more like a very nice Airbnb rather than a hotel- which could be good or bad depending on what your needs are. The host was very attentive, friendly, and available by phone or text when needed

the pool water at is part of the beach club was cloudy/ gave sensation it wasn’t clean, not the hosts fault, but the pool is part of the deal Nothing to eat in walking distance after 4p- but there’s a nice kitchenette in the room that includes a little stove top.

Beautiful location right at the beach, with the sea and pool of the beach club to us in the morning and after c. 3pm every day. Very helpful staff, Nora and Alex helped booking a snorkeling trip to El Cielo (highly recommended!) which left right at the pier next to the beach club.

The area was tranquil over the weekend. Very nice to relax, lovely beach and pool. The apartment had everything needed for a comfortable stay!

Only able to use taxis to get to a store. I should have brought a car.

Location was good room was very comfortable bathroom was great nothing fancy but was very comfortable and very calm and tranquil vacation I recommend

The entire room was and location of Maia suite Cozumel And also Aldo and Nora where the best. U can’t beat the price for the room. Will be using this place again in the future.
